Only complaint is that the hotel is near the nightlife (not completely a bad thing) and people were out partying most nights well past 2 am.
I loved the breakfast in the morning. The room view an balcony. It was comfortable. Only one issue was that the TV didn’t work in room 805.
Cons (-) Comfort just goes a tick down because the ceiling was very sloped and I am quite tall.
Pros (+) We needed help with our airline reservation and they took care of it
Cons (-) Everything was fine.
Pros (+) The staff was friendly and helpful and they are centrally located.
Cons (-) The staff was friendly but not too sucessful at achieving some of my requests.

Opt for a Room with a View
Several guests recommended choosing a room with a view, especially those facing the city, ocean, or mountains for a more enjoyable stay.
Consider Noise Levels
Some guests mentioned that rooms facing the square could be noisy, especially on weekends, so light sleepers may want to request a quieter room.
Check Room Amenities
Guests appreciated the in-room amenities such as the tea kit, bathrobes, and comfortable beds, but some found the bathroom products to have an unpleasant smell.
Be Mindful of Room Size
A few guests noted that the rooms, while modern and tidy, were on the smaller side, so consider this when booking, especially for longer stays.
Breakfast Timing
To avoid crowds, consider arriving early for breakfast as some guests experienced high volumes of people leading to waiting for a table.
Address Noise Issues
If noise from neighboring rooms or outside disturbances is a concern, consider requesting a room away from potential sources of noise or addressing the issue with the staff promptly.
Parking Considerations
Keep in mind that the hotel does not have its own parking, and nearby street parking may be limited, so alternative parking arrangements may be necessary.
Address WiFi Concerns
If a reliable WiFi connection is essential, guests may want to confirm the status of the WiFi in their room upon check-in to address any potential connectivity issues promptly.
Consider Alternative Dining Options
While the hotel's restaurant offers a stylish dining experience, guests can explore nearby Centerhotels in Reykjavik that have restaurants for additional dining choices.
Accessibility Assistance
For guests with mobility concerns, it's advisable to confirm room accessibility and elevator availability, especially if specific room features are required.
