Pros: We got an upgrade to a suite. The beds were great, the rooms clean and large, and the bathroom was very convenient, with a very nice shower. The view was nice, the sunset as seen from the balcony was spectactular. The breaksfast was excellent! Staff were all realy very friendly and service minded.
Cons: I was hoping the walk to the city would go along the river, but instead, was through a rather shabby commercial area. Still, a very nice and quiet location. Hopefully in future the entrance to the city centre will be upgraded too!

Pros: Everithing
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Modern room facilities, proximity to highway, friendly staff, breakfast, view of skyline, clean and comfortable
Cons: On one side, the neighborhood is semi (non-heavy) industrial. However on the other side is the water with a nice path, that will take you downtown in a few minutes walk.

Pros: Very nice and helpful reception staff. Large, nice equipped apartment with even larger terrace with beautiful view.

7.0 Good
Pros: Good quiet clean rooms to stay. With an inbuilt kichenette
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Attention had been paid to every detail. The room comes equipped with a fan and an air conditioner so that hot days are a breeze. We were traveling with a baby. A baby bed and high chair were available. The car can be parked right outside the apartment. The bathroom was neat and tidy and nothing was leaking. The tram takes you into town in a matter of minutes. We were very happy with the place. The host was extremely polite, friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The kitchen could have been supplied with tea and coffee. But this is minor.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Other then a confusion after we left that was resolved our stay was very comfortable and we enjoyed it very much. The owner is a very nice, polite and respectful man and the room was clean and quite. Close to s bahn tram and busses. Rostock is surprisingly beautiful.
9.5 Excellent

Pros: It was nice and quiet, people were friendly, 20 minutes away from Sbahn station that takes you directly to the sea
7.0 Good
Pros: The price published at booking.com does not include cleaning fee in amount of 16 EUR. The amount was charged after booking, as I overlooked very tiny line at the begginig of accommodation offer where the cleaning fee was mentioned. The cleaning fee does not include washing dishes, which is bit absurd at the end. The

9.5 Excellent
Pros: the location is good, the TV had internet so I was able to watch channels from Youtube, the kitchen was well stocked, the bed was very comfortable, the internet was stable and secured with a password, the staff were very friendly
Cons: There should be a microwave in the kitchen
6.3 Good
Pros: The studio apartment was clean, comfortable and well equiped for self-catering. Having parking and internet access were an appreciated bonus. It is adjacent to trams and a railway station so is very convenient for getting to the old centre of Rostock as well as travelling to the beach resort. The staff are very helpful, but there is only part-time access to an English speaker.
7.6 Good
Pros: Very clean room with excellent facilities; Cozy bed, tv, nice IKEAish atmosphere. Close to the S-Bahn station and a mall.
Cons: Accept only cash, you get the keys in the casino next door.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was as or better than expected! Location was perfect, right next to beach separated only by boardwalk, nice beach view from spa area which was also nice and relaxing, only thing missing in my opinion was a hot tub for a complete spa experience, Rooms were spacious with nice bathroom and all very clean. Breakfast was outstanding, so many choices in very large room, much better than anticipated. Staff took good care of a missing suitcase from our airline and delivered to our room upon receipt. In all a wonderful stay and would choose again without hesitation if in the area again.
Cons: We had no time to think of negatives, our stay was wonderful both at the hotel itself and in the small Warnemünde area. Weather was a mix of sun & clouds, significant winds but we came prepared and this was expected in mid-May.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed the SPA , swimmingpool and the amazing buffet breakfast. The location is perfect: near to the beach and the main street with shops, restaurants, train station and the lighthouse.
Cons: the temperature of the swimmingpool was too cold considering the season I would have heated it up a little bit
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Attitude towards pets is amaising: they provided a bowl, a small carpet for the dog, a treat and some tips for dog owners. Vary spacious rooms, great location.
Cons: Poor WiFi maintenance - as of beginning of June, the SSH certificate for their login page was invalid for quite some time already, and the stuff seamed to bee aware of it, but did nothing. Hope they'll fix it soon!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Sauna, Pool and Breakast
Cons: Wifi, Internet connection was terrible
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The naked people in the sauna area

7.5 Good
Cons: the restaurant was moderate
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is excellent and the bed high class
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent location just besides the sea and within a walking distance to centre of Warnemunde, very good restaurant; nice playroom for kids. We had a 2-room appartment and it was very good and cosy. very good breakfast. all in all - everything was perfect.
Cons: Our room was in the basement with the view of parking; but that was, I suppose, due to the fact we had an apartment, not a standard room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a pleasant enough hotel on the beach at Warnemunde, about a twenty minute walk to the main area of the town, where any number of acceptable restaurants can be found. Rooms are unremarkable, but there's nothing of note to complain about. The price for the room we had seemed high, but I do concede that we're in high season. Be aware that the beach immediately outside the hotel, shielded by trees, is clothing optional. Good, fully secured parking on site, although limited availability, as pointed out on the Booking website. One thing we didn't take advantage of was the potential to rent their Mini convertible for a run around the area!
Cons: Only the price; another time, we'd probably stay closer to town, or further afield, and pay the price for parking in town.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Visited with the in-laws, great stay friendly staff, a bit of a walk into the main town. The balcony a bit small but I suppose a balcony in itself is a bonus for a hotel.Roomy 2 room appartment with walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom. You can see the sea from the balcony if you are above the second floor.Very informative brochures with some good reductions on offer. The breakfast was first class and rounded off a short but well worthwhile stay.
Cons: The balcony is not private, you basically share it with the neighbours, the fence in the middle is only 1m high so it´s like sitting at adjacent tables in a restaurant. It did not bother us though because it was our relatives.
6.8 Good
Pros: excellent breakfast, by the sea,
Cons: a little further from the city center,
6.8 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very good and there is a lovely view from the restaurant to the seaside. The staff at the front desk are very nice and helpful.
Cons: We had a room on the ground floor which gives you a view of the parking lot- which I did not feel was in accord with the price we paid. It also had a very chemical smell to it and the hygiene articles they provide is exaggerated. There was liquid soap, no tooth paste or anything else. If you want a bathrobe you have to ask for one.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very family friendly. Good restaurant - good value for money. Great location.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was terrific, and the location was perfect - right next to the beach, but away from the crowds. Very quiet stay, which was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Only stayed for one night but totally enjoyed the experience. The rooms are more like an apartment! The staff were of the highest standard and very accommodating even though we arrived late in the evening. Breakfast was plentiful and hearty.
Cons: Nil

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice loft. Must be excellant in summer time. Breakfast very good.
Cons: Internet was down during my stay. Too many light switches. My high education is not enough to operate them :)
6.8 Good
Pros: Nice location and quaint design but expensive and misleading advertising.
Cons: The advert says WiFi throughout the hotel and that is a fat lie. It was the most expensive hotel on our trip and we specifically chose it because of WiFi and not once did we have WiFi during our stay. The staff just shrugged their shoulders and used the language barrier to skirt the issue. Then we arrived with our heavy suitcases and had to drag them up two flights of steep stairs. And again when we checked out no help was offered. No bottled water left in the rooms. No soap in the bathroom (when we complained they did put soap in the dispenser). I thought I would be treating my wife to a special stay because of the special room and cost but the issues just spoilt the stay. Avoid this establishment because they don’t care.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The mattress. Killed my back. Sweaty

7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: The internet didn’t work so well outside 90 euro excluding breakfast is rather expensive
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast Close to city centre
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Surprisingly nice small hotel in excellent location for the old city. Parking on site was useful and welcome at €9 for the night. Staff were extremely helpful, including immediately contacting me when I left something in the room.
Cons: Nothing.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: It was very well located, close to the old town.
Cons: The bathroom lamp was supposed to be motion sensored but it was on all night with a very bright light. I didn't want to close the door because I needed to hear my babies in the other room (the bathroom was the corridor between the 2 rooms). There were no shades on the windows. It was quite pricey.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and cool interior decorations. Easy to get to and secure parking.
Cons: The room was too hot and with the open window the traffic kept us awake. The curtains let in too much light in the morning. We were awake at 5 am! Also the WiFi connection was poor throughout the building.
5.0 Okay
Cons: No elevator, lugging luggage up 2 flights of stairs (1 staircase outside to room). Leaving premises wasn't possible until 7:15 (i.e., office locked). Limited amenities (soap in bathroom, no glasses). Room was less than modest!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location not far from the station, old town is an easy walk and there's a lovely park area opposite the hotel. We had a very big, airy and cheerful room with 2 beds and a table. There're nice communal sitting areas and a kitchen (we didn't use it so not sure about sharing/guest usage) Breakfast was superb and highly recommended! Amazing and varied selection including: breads, a variety of fresh savoury cream spreads, cheese, cold meats, hot porridge and even soup, as well as boiled eggs in adorable Zipfelmuetze.
Cons: We liked everything! Only gripe was that the WiFi briefly didn't work but after the staff reset it everything was fine
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The 2 rooms with a shared bathroom did fulfill our needs, the rooms furniture are basic but the value for money is very good. The breakfast is outstanding in terms of quality and quantity. Very tasty selfmade salads, hummus and sweet offerings with a personal touch.
Cons: Nothing
Hotel Neptun - Rostock - Bedroom

8.8 Excellent (7,172 reviews)

Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: We liked the location, great breakfast buffet and in particular the staff in the breakfast room. Havent seen such attentive and helpful staff for a long time. Also, the rooms itself are modern and very clean, comfortable bed and nice to have a balcony to sit outside.
Cons: 1: First that you have to pay 16EUR a day for parking when you already pay a premium rate for the room. 2: Staff at the reception is not 5 star quality. At check in, the staff was extremely helpful and professional, great! The staff at check out got trained right in front of you with no apologies, no acknowledgement that you're waiting and when we wanted to pay for our consumption of the mini bar we recevied a dismissing hissing noise from the girl opposite as she had to rebook. They definitely have a lot to learn. 3: Sky bar only open on Friday and Saturday. There have a beautiful bar on the top floor, but then this bar is only on 2 days a week, which is very poor for a 5star hotel. Why not making it a tourist attraction and have it open every day? Was a real come down for us as we wanted to spent our evening there after having had dinner outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staff was very helpful and patient with us as we didn’t speak any German. The view from our room was beautiful. We saw amazing sunsets from our bed!! Breakfast was also well done with many choices.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: love the SPA: seawater swimming pool, Finnish Sauna with sea view. I was impressed with the ocean front rooms with balcony, sitting outside watching the sun set and listening to the ocean waves was more than wonderful. close to all the shops and restaurants, close to the beach. It wasn't too hot so we didn't miss the air-conditioner but the lack of air conditioning can be a really disadvantage on a hot day. Parking is quite exopensive, the hotel is fully renovated but still has the old GDR style. the team was friendly. breakfast was good
Cons: car parking is not included in the room price and quite expensive
7.0 Good
Cons: The restaurant was significant under what you can expect!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Sky Breakfast is always great!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Exzellent breakfast, great service, absolut fantastic location, try the spa.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The disco under the building and the local restaurants
Cons: Less expensive
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, bar service, views, maid service. Location
Cons: some of the receptionist, wrong attitude. unfriendly. Make me feel very uncomfortable to ask questions. Particularly compared to other hotels, we stayed. What about first point of contact experience. Receptionists are the first contact for the guest.
7.0 Good
Pros: Pet friendly
Cons: Expensive and added cost for pet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous Hotel on the beach; clean roomy rooms, service oriented staff, very cute town.
Cons: we had to leave

Cons: Absolutely nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing and had a really good laugh with the reception staff on booking in. Rooms were huge and really comfortable. quiet surroundings with close access to the ferry if you want a bit more life. robot lawnmowers were relaxing to watch.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good facilities
Cons: People have to travel by 2 minutes ferry cross the water passage. People get off train have to walk through underground runner to reach the ferry. Cruise terminal is right on the side of ferry station. It’s definitely not suitable for elder people to stay. Also from ferry people have to walk around 500 meters to hotel reception then walk another 100-200 meters to the building to stay. This is mainly for local yacht fans as some of the staff speak German only. Good hotel but there is limit
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view the atmosphere and total relaxation
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Liked the wellness area, the lobby in the evening and the breakfast!
Cons: Went for dinner in the evening and it took forever for us to get seated in the brasserie so we lost patience and changed to the italian restaurant.the brasserie was empty.there was absolutely no reason to let us wait for that long to be seated to ine of the many empty tables.and three waiters had seen us wait. One single gentleman at the reception was pretty unfriendly or especially serious as we checked in.Created a bit of an 'unwanted' feeling at first. But all other staff was super and therefore made up for that.
7.0 Good
Cons: Room near the elevator is noisy
9.5 Excellent

7.0 Good
Pros: Nice staff, good facilities and ample space for parking and great for pets. Good food too.
Cons: I came alone with my three year old and kids ties for the pool are very limited (2 x 1 hr a day) and because there"werent enough children" they decided to close the kids club! 4 days of non-productivity workwise, asI had planned to work at least the mornings. very disappointing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The decor is gorgeous . The pool and spa ourstanding The breakfast expansive, but fully worth.
Cons: Some Restaurants were closed , specially the Fish one .other restaurants were very disapponting. Pool area must be wiped, too much water on the marble floors., very slippery …

7.0 Good
Pros: Nice location, clean, good brekfast.
Cons: The room was extremly hot that I could not sleep at night. There was no place to dry the towels and bathing suit which is really bad for a hotel by the sea ...

Cons: Every thing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: the swimming pool and welness area
7.0 Good
Pros: Location of the hotel
Cons: No A/C in the rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The one employee at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were very grateful for the free room upgrade, which gave us a bigger bed and more space! The breakfast was also wonderful! I appreciated the made-to-order omelettes. The juice glasses could be bigger and my husband would have preferred fresh jams, but otherwise,, there was a wonderful assortment of bread rolls, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, and crepes for the weekend. We also liked the spa/sauna and pool area. The Bio-sauna was lovely and it was great to be able to have fresh air directly afterwards on the one terrace. The pool was also very large for a hotel pool and featured a cold whirlpool function. I enjoyed the 8 a.m. water aerobics course too.
Cons: The juice glasses could have been bigger and the Earl Grey tea was weak (use two bags for a pot). Otherwise, we were quite happy!

We liked everything travelling with our adult daughter we had a perfect arrangement with husband and myself in a double room attaching to a single for our daughter at a doable price. All super clean. The breakfast was great: Lots of choice but not overwhelming - all tasty and fresh - lots of coffee. Absolutely outstanding: The ladies at reception as cheery , hugely helpful and informed. We loved our 3rd floor location overlooking the red roofs of beautiful Rostock. Got all the help we needed to get us on a day trip to Warnemuende
Cons: nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Self-service check in during the night was easy and comfortable.
7.0 Good
Pros: This small hotel is nicely designed and maintained well with lots of personal effort by the owner. Good location at the edge of the old town, 5 min by foot to the centre. Spotlessly clean rooms. Nice and delicious breakfast buffet. The team is very friendly and attending.
Cons: My single room was small as a shoe box and had a corner were the small corridor was. Bathroom in decent shape but shower box so small you always hit the glass wall around and I am not overweight. No AC - room was very hot, hard to sleep. Curtains didn’t keep light away as to thin, i woke up early in the morning as the sun spotted into the room. Bed Futon quite soft, didn’t sleep well therefor.
7.0 Good
Cons: I wasn't told the procedure to get the keys when noone is at the reception. And the floor was dirty. Other than that it's fine.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our two single rooms were clean and tidy. Beds made daily. Very comfortable. Nice and warm. Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: The early morning noise about 6am from staff setting up breakfast. Guests using the open plan reception/breakfast room/stair way. Clinking noises, echo of people talking in the stairwell. We needed tea, coffee & milk in rooms. Door bell very loud, very early, woke us up. Probably a delivery or guest arrival.

Pros: The hotel is located in a very quite area near the park and seashore. Room was clean and specious enough Place is located close to Rostock and Warnemunde
Cons: There is no shops/restaurants in the walking distance. Not a big problem, but having a car is recommended since there is no breakfasts available.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: As we were getting the early morning ferry to Sweden in the morning this was an ideal place to stay. We rang ahead with our arrival time and the owner was waiting outside the property for us when we got there. he was friendly and showed us around. there was parking space outside. The room was very clean and well equipped with a little kitchen area with sink, microwave, kettle, plates, cutlery etc. The property was situated down a pretty, quiet residential cul-de-sac. It was near a park and the sea, unfortunately we did not have time to explore. we will definitely be staying there again.
Cons: There was a strange vibration coming we believe from the floor below which caused the foot end of the bed to also vibrate which was not very pleasant, but it did eventually stop ,and we were able to get off to sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was great! Room was clean and tidy. Great walking trail nearby and a nautical museum with old boats and one huge ship.
7.5 Good
Pros: about 7 km to the beach in Warnemünde. Possible to walk from the pension Ostseeurlaub to Warnemünde,... when you pay 1 euro for the entrance to the adjacent park the distance can be shortened ;-)

Pros: We like everything, can not say something bad about.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super beds, even the additional bed for our kids. Great view from the room and of course from rooftop (SPA).
5.5 Okay
Pros: The view from junior suite rooms.
Cons: We stayed there for three nights and the room wasn't properly cleaned once. The staff reacted to our complaints very half-heartedly or not at all and clearly thought of us as "just a young family" who presumedly don't have high expectations. On check-out, we once again gave the receptionist an opportunity to offer compensation, which was rudely bsurhed off and ignored. Additionally, the fruit salad at breakfast was starting to taste foul/fermented due to being reused too many times. On top of all this, the barkeeper hands out drinks for vouchers based on personal preference. Two gentlemen in suits sitting right next to us were handes 0,5L beers while we got 0,3L ones without even being asked. There is some serious staff training to do in this place. The newly renovated hotel itself is nice and comfy, but cleaning personnel not cleaning the room and discriminating service staff.. that's very disappointing for a 4* hotel.

8.0 Excellent
Cons: IT was wars and loud!
7.5 Good
Pros: I really like the service of the breakfast and the hostel was easy to locate.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Had booked a double/twin room (single occupancy) with Blue Doors on Booking.com. At the time of check-in, was told for very first time no such room was available, despite the Booking.com email confirmation (credit card guaranteed) I showed them! As no private room was available I was shoved into a 5-bed dormitory and given the top bunk (which was dirty!). In horror, I protested and asked to be booked into another hotel - their reply: all hotels in vicinity were full, so there was no other option except the dorm bed. Even now I could not believe how I could have ended up spending 2 nights steaming away in a top bunk in a dorm despite having reserved a private room. It was unusually hot for late July and there wasn't even a fan in the dorm not to mention AC. How does this establishment even stay in business with this cavalier attitude? And what happened to Booking.com's email confirmation - why did Blue Doors say they didn't have it?
