Free breakfast was decent . We reserved 2 beds and got one and our room had stains all over the floor . Asked the front desk for another room since they put us next to elevators while there were 3 weddings. she said no they were booked.. well you didn't even give us what we booked . Didn't sleep all sleep all night with the noise .
How Mickey the rooms were later out Nothing
The beds are awesome. I can't recall ever staying in a hotel and the bed being more comfortable than my own bed at home. The location is also great because it is right across the street from the KOP mall. If you don't mind crossing huge intersections, you could easily walk to the mall from there. The breakfast was also really nice, but it was a VERY long walk from the room and difficult to find. We would have been better off getting in the car and driving to the breakfast area considering the amount of time it took and the twists and turns it took to get there. I know this is an older hotel, but seriously - how is there no elevator?? It's clear renovations have been done, but one of those should have been adding an elevator to the older end of the hotel. As we were leaving, we noticed one on the newer end, but in the amount of time it takes to load everything on a cart and drag it to that elevator, we were better off carrying it up and down the stairs ourselves. Lugging all of that up the stairs was a huge disappointment and would definitely cause me to find another hotel if we stayed in that area again.
Great location right across from King of Prussia mall. Decent breakfast included Wifi was surprisingly reliable
Breakfast was wonderful, times were great, comfortable room, price was reasonable. nothing
One of the better complimentary breakfasts in this price range. Great access to KOP mall. Room was clean and checking in staff were excellent. Just a bit more soundproofing needed to completely block hallway and upstairs toilet flush noises, still able to get a great nights
Beautiful, clean rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was roomy and clean. Location had a few shops. Only about 20-30mins from downtown Philly. Free breakfast had average selection. Nothing to write home about.
Rooms are a bit dated. Pillows were terrible.
No elevator to second floor
The hotel was well kept, the staff was friendly. Great place to stay, excellent value
Clean room. Comfortable bed Thin walls. A bit noisy
- Clean/Well kept/ new or updated facility - Everything in good repair - Friendly Staff - Very good hot breakfast included - Nice pool and workout room - wonderfully landscaped inner courtyard - close to restaurants/convenience stores/ gas stations - Reasonably priced compared to other local hotels Highly Recommend to those who want a quality place to stay. But must keep budget in mind.
Needed a late check in time and the staff was most accommodating Room and Hotel were clean. Breakfast was good, we got down about 30 minutes before closing and the food was still fresh and hot.
The room #310 smelled like cigarette smoke. And the people next door to me were drunk and talking loudly, screaming, singing for three hours in the evening. Very obnoxious. Not your fault.
I like the location and the hotel was nice enough. Nice bathroom. Elevators seemed to make noise and seems old. no indoor pool even thought the pics that I scrolled through showed a beautiful indoor pool and was hoping to enjoy that with my two daughters. I also booked two queen beds and when I checked in they said they saw that I made a "request" for two queens but could only give me a king with a pull out sofa. That was NOT a request that is what I booked. I would not have chosen this hotel if only a king was available. I was visiting my daughter that is attending Bryn Mawr College. The attendant at the desk was nice and gave us complimentary breakfast coupons. I did use them but wasn't planning on having breakfast at the hotel because my daughter is also vegan. The only thing she can really eat there is fruit and there was some soy milk out so she was going to have a bowl of cereal. When she went to pour the soy milk it was frozen!! The server was able to come up with more from the back. This was really NOT the experience I expected but made the best of it. I plan on traveling to this area several times a year. Not sure I will give this hotel another chance. There are many choices.
The location of the hotel and the fine breakfast the next morning made our stay a pleasure.
We used the room as a base camp for the seminar and award banquet on Friday night. We intended to stay over but with ask the snow we decided to return home after the banquet. It served its purpose well. I hate sliding doors, no privacy, very embarrassing and uncomfortable
The room and hotel were very clean! The curtains on each side of the window were only there for decoration. They didn't actually close. This was a problem because the light from the parking lot was directly in front of the window, which made it hard to sleep.
The walls are very thin. Heard doors open and closing all night long.
My deal was for a King bed and I ended up with 2 queens. There was no change.
The location Room condition: chair had a large stain and the stuffing was coming out; bedskirt was covered with lint "balls": needed to ask for glasses two days: bedspread was pulled back but bed was never "made", fitted bottom sheet was never totally covering the mattress: clean towels were there but at the same time the soiled towels were left on the floor: Would not stay there again.
The hotel was very nice and the people were very friendly. I was there for the Devon horse show so we did not get to spend much time at the hotel.
Rooms not available at checkin. Casino way too smoky
Location is great. Generally clean room. For the price, it was good, but have stayed in other area hotels for similar price and had better accommodations and amenities in room and at the property. Bed was very uncomfortable.
The room was very nice. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was romantic. Loved gambling. Lost card and would very much love to get it back or a duplicate sent to my home 110 Clear Creek Drive Bear, DE 19701 This would be Greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Please have a great day. Sincerely, Delores McNeill The travel to the nearest restaurant. No smoking in Bedrooms.
Convenient for the sports show we were going to and that's about all. Restaurant was fairly good. No window in room, skimpy toiletries, lumpy uncomfortable bed, very noisy room near the elevator. Also, could hear through the walls.
Clean, friendly staff, excellent service
The comfortable room, and helpful staff Bathroom needs updating
Clean bed My staying hotel included breakfast but when I checked in hotel they never mention it. Which I paid for it. Also this hotel did not provide bath tub.
It was great clean and quiet
Room service had good food The walk to the casino was very long the restaurant s on site were very poor.
engineers are responsive people!thank you for the way you do,the stuff on the front desk and shuttle drivers are doin' great.tnx for your attitude troubles with hot water availability air conditioner sounds like a jet plane) do not use the taxi services they call on the front desk(strange and rude behaviour(
Loved the room and the bed was so soft! I think they sold us on what new bed we want! Didn't like the pull out handle to turn the water on. Strange.
Nice gym/pool/hot tub to relax. My friends and I stayed in 3 rooms. I was charged for parking and internet when the other rooms were not. Very unfair and tricky staff at the front desk.
The lobby staff was very professional and attentive.
No major problems with anything. Room, facilities, food were all fine for my purpose (business) for a 1-day stay. I was surprised that there were no snacks and a very limited selection of drinks in the Concierge Lounge during the day.
Cleanliness, comfortable beds, library
This hotel was very clean and comfy. Location was great. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Our only complaint is the shower door, or lack of. Looks nice but since it was very cold outside, we couldn't get the heat to stay in the room, it made for a cold shower. We put towel at the door so the cold air would quit coming in from the hallway and by the time we went to sleep it had warmed up.
Bed was comfortable No signs stating when the pool and jacuzzi closed. Front desk was rude when asked about the shuttle services. Lack of courtesy, dog down the hall in a room barked all night
Clean, close to mall
Everything!!! I didn't stay longer
Nice hotel, with very comfortable rooms WiFi was not free
I enjoy my stay here the room was nice and roomy love the decor The room I was in had ants in hotel staff came and dealt with it but still ants
Choices of food at breakfast . Late hours for pool .
Nice place and the best hotel breakfast that I have ever seen. We asked for a crib and did not have one.
This is very close to where I was working for the week. The complimentary omelettes are a nice touch. Aside from breakfast, the food is mediocre.
Nice staff. Good breakfast. Room was much smaller than anticipated, thought there was going to be a pull out bed and there wasn't even a couch.
The rooms where very clean and the staff was very hospitable and friendly. The continual breakfast was fantastic. My overall experience was truly remarkable.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel seemed to be relatively new and clean. Check in and out was very quick. The vending machines did not work properly. Not all baked items on the breakfast were fresh. Commercial properties were limited to a car dealerships, financial and one quick stop with gas in the immediate area.
Manager was pleasant. No help with luggage at checkin, have a bad back and was in a visible back brace. Room was prepaid. Was asked for credit card at checkin and my personal checking account was charged for 2 days. Was out during the day, could only speak with evening staff. The 1st person said she would call me back about it and never did. Next night, I was told that only the manager could fix it and was not able to do this until check out. The charge was for $265. Lucky that it did not cause me to go into overdraft. It was not removed until the day after I returned home. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. Food in their restaurant was very overpriced. Staff at check in were snobby and indifferent. Room was over priced, wet carpet and night table beside the bed. Sheets were changed only once in 5 days. Bathroom had a mildew smell. Air conditioning unit was very loud. Room was at the end of a very long hall. Not great for someone with a bad back.
location, property, rooms, breakfast buffet (monday - saturday) staff ignored us. card key broken, told to wait for manager. never show. eventually got keys, told manager would call, never did, empty liquor bottle under bed in room, old coffee cups left in room.
pool and hot tub food too expensive
Breakfast that was included was very good. Staff very friendly.
Very clean, staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and very nice. The bed was a bit uncomfortable.
Typical good quality Hampton inn. Smallish TV, although it was a flat panel Samsung. The remote worked well. Typical limited channel selection.
The staff were so personable and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate every issue. Exceptional service, great coffee/tea bar, comfortable surroundings, and convenient inter-net access. Met every need, and made it as close to home as possible. Kudos to Jessica, Les, and Chris, they were a joy to meet and very special people !!! A very enjoyable stay experience, my choice for every visit I make to my old home area. No issues.
Excellent staff and beautiful facility! A real deal for the money! Breakfasts were outstanding. Would recommend to everyone.
A first class operation and staff. The room was great, as were the meals and customer service! Definitely choose this B&B over any nearby hotels.
It is very cozy and quiet. I didn't like the fact that I didn't get a chance to have dinner there. I had lunch and it was excellent.
The appearance, the spaciousness of the room and the antique furniture! No! I loved this hotel and recommended it to the the people in my training class.
hotel has great old world charm along with all the idiosyncrasies of creaky floor boards and micro bathroom. if you love the history you have to live that too.. also loved meeting up with Tom and Patrick and Clive who was charming. I don't like the tipping system having lived out of the US for over 20 years but I do understand the need for it. Food was just OK I found it a bit fussy. the service was excellent. they clearly have a great local following.
I did not like any thing I did not like any thing about the hotel I had my kids with me and the website says you a have witch you do but it was not open and I had some very upset kids and that is one reason why I picked the hotel I will never stay at the hotel and that is very sad because I will be coming to Harleysville on a regular bases.
Amazing, friendly service. Spotless. Great value for the price. Great breakfast buffet. nothing
The hotel was in a good location, and had lots of parking. The beds were comfortable, and close to walmart. We called ahead of time to get an early check in as we drove in 12 hours for a wedding that afternoon to find out they gave us a run around on when our room would be ready. Their breakfast was poor; the waffle makers wouldn't cook the waffle. There was a piece of clear plastic used to guard the corners on the wall that was on the floor. My boyfriend went down the hall to get ice, accidentally stepped on it, and ended up with a huge gash on his foot. The staff was rude, and actually left the desk for an extended period of time while people were waiting and the phone was ringing off the hook. The bathroom in our room was dirty. It looked like someone played in the mud and dirt before showering in our bathroom. There was hair all over the shower as well. It was very discouraging and would pay more money to stay elsewhere.
Room furnishings seemed new and fresh Breakfast was a disappointment
Location was good. Bed was comfortable. Cleanliness could be improved. Dust in the room, hairs on the towels, sections of carpet were stained. My refrigerator was broken but the manager on duty was kind enough to replace it himself. That impressed me.
The air wouldnt turn off in 604
Clean rooms, nice free breakfast. Only downside was when we called the front desk for pillows and a toothbrush, they made us come down to the front desk to get them. In my past experiences, I have usually received items directly to the room. To me, this exhibited some laziness on the hotels staff's part See above
Convenience on the road. I reserved a room at Hampton Inn, Malvern because it was close to two local historic sites that I wanted to visit. The desk clerk referred me to a friendy Episcopal Church just a short drive away, which suited my Sunday needs very well. The room accomodation had several welcome conveniences such as fridge, microwave oven, coffee/tea maker, TV and was very quiet and fresh. The bathroom was supplied with thoughtful items. A large room had been provided for breakfast for a sports/family event in the area so the breakfast bar was adequately accomodating for just regular folk. I will definitely stay here again while visiting family in the area. One very small problem with the room was that the bathtub plug did not function to stop water flowing out. I also found that the room a/c unit could not be programed to my preferred temperature, which is higher than the default cooling setting
Good amenities for the price, very clean and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Good location near the turnpike with lots of restaurants and shopping, yet quiet. Coffee available in the lobby 24 hours. The choice of hard or soft pillows was a nice touch. They didn't have much variety for breakfast. It was really boring for a weeklong stay, though the quality of the food was good.
It was very noisy. They allowed dogs - heard baking each day and had to move to a different floor. Also - lots of traffic noise. Major road outside hotel. Tractor trailers moving all night long.
