10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just lovely, as remembered
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful, comfortable, clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food and drink reasonably priced. Great little extras -chocolate with coffee, water in bedroom. Robes. Good toiletries .*
Cons: *Although it was lovely to have the water and toiletries - would be better if to reduce plastic they could replace plastic water bottles with glass refillables and replace the single bottles of toiletries with refillables also ?
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was immaculate, staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent cuisine, would highly recommend.
Cons: Nothing really, maybe some entertainment one or two nights a week would be nice, would save having to venture out but some like it very quiet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and gusets, relaxing places to be, beautiful lounging areas and outside areas. Wonderful breakfast and restaurant at hotel. Excellent room facilities - everything we need.
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect for us.
6.8 Good
Pros: Beautiful decorated rooms, gorgeous hotel.
Cons: The breakfast was chaotic, staff unfriendly not enough food for the amount of people staying at the hotel. There was also a big problem with wasps, 4 or 5 at least crawling all over the open sugar cubes on EACH table at breakfast in the conservatory! Let down by breakfast to the point that we started having room service breakfast to avoid it completely. A shame because the rooms are so beautiful!
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Cooked breakfast wasn't too good
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location for airport and amenities. Very comfortable and good service
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very contemporary hotel & room which was extremely clean and well maintained. Breakfast had a fabulous variety of choice, cooked to order each time. Good to offer free shuttle transport to St Helier each day .
Cons: Lack of AC in room during very hot weather. No ceiling fan which would have helped but no offer of portable fan either. Room temperature exceeded acceptable/comfortable level. Smoking area outside was not separate from al fresco dining/seating.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A nice hotel just outside Saint Auburn set in the quiet Jersey countryside. Our room was modern and exceptionally clean, equipped with TV, Mini Fridge, and plenty of room. A large bathroom with nice accessories replaced daily by room service. A large patio door opened onto our own private seating area with loungers, chairs and table There is a pool with the usual loungers and chairs with access to most of the downstairs rooms and bar/restaurant areas. There is a nice secluded courtyard area for drinks, plus an excellent bar. There is a restaurant area which offers a varied menu, which is very nice. Staff are very helpful and nice. They cannot do enough for you. In particular the bar manager Rui remembers what you like and very chatty and attentive. The hotel offers a free transfer to and from the airport. They are also happy to drop you to Saint Aubin or St Brélade and operate a shuttle service to St Heilier in the morning and back at 3pm. ( except Saturdays ). If there is just one suggestion to the hotel management it would be some tidying needs to be done around the pool deck and room patio areas. The pool is very clean but some of the woodwork and particular the block paving really just needs a clean. The lower room patios need a sweep as well with plant debris. Apart from that one criticism this is a great hotel, with lots of nice extras, supported by friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Cons: Patio areas need a clean

Cons: Main meal service in the Bar could be improved. One main course arrived 10 mins before the other.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was amazing, lovely decor and a roll top bath in the room. The bathroom had an amazing double width shower. Although it said the room had inner courtyard views we could still see the sea. Breakfast was very good with a range of choices from the a la cartte menu.

Cons: Nothing really comfortable rooms pleasant hardworking staff and good food loved every minute and good value for money
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, great staff, superb breakfast,
Cons: 2 x very noisy weddings that we were not informed about that also rendered facilities at the hotel as unavailable for guests/residents. Rooms very warm (no aircon but 2 x noisy table top fans) and pillows could do with being replaced. Parking an issue especially on the nights of the weddings.

Undercliff Guest House - Trinity - Building

Overview Reviews
When you stay at Undercliff Guest House in Trinity, you'll be by the sea, a 3-minute drive from Jersey Zoological Park (Jersey Zoo) and 6 minutes from La Hougue Bie. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the junior suite which meant we had self catering facilities. The place was fantastic and immaculately clean . I
Cons: We didn’t have a mirror . When I asked Ida she gave us one although I do think a full length mirror is needed .
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed and appreciated the beautifully cooked breakfast delivered to our room, and the healthy plate of a variety of fruits prepared for us daily. Can't beat having a great breakfast to kickstart our day of exploring Jersey/hiking along the coast. The hosts Richard and Ida are extraordinary people who pay attention to details and are very friendly. We were unlucky that our flight from London was severely delayed and we arrived there past their check-in time but they waited for us and made us feel welcomed. They also went the extra mile in helping us to obtain a local simcard so that we can navigate around the island more easily when we drove. They are plenty of sockets in the room and two European socket plug converter are supplied too. We didn't need it but think that is very thoughtful. The guesthouse is located very near to the starting point for the walking trail from Bouley Bay to Bonne Nuit which I would recommend to everyone to do if you stay here.
Cons: The final miles leading to the guesthouse is on a steep terrain with sharp bends so don't be surprised if you decide to drive there and have little experience with driving on country roads. The roads are not lit at night and can be very dark. Buses are only to St Hellier and not frequent (no direct from the airport). That is the only reason why I scored lower for location but otherwise this place is a perfect place to stay for a getaway in Jersey - it totally feels like home that we are reluctant to leave at the end of our stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Quite relaxing spot with amazing views. Beautiful private terrace. Property modern, clean and well equipped.
Cons: Breakfast was not provided despite booking staying it was included. We had booked a self catering appartment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious accommodation, very clean , well equipped and in a lovely area.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was good to have our breakfast delivered to the kitchen each day so we could have it when it suited us. the fresh fruit platter was lovley.
Cons: The step into the bathroom was to high. The front door needed a curtain to block the light out, this did wake us early.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The standard of the room and the quiet and peaceful location were just what we were looking for.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike about the guest house. If I was forced to mention anything it would be the car parking . We had to park on the road a few times which was opposite the car park entrance on a blind corner of a narrow road.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The surroundings are very tranquil. Undercliffe is a very traditional building that has been decorated to a very high standard and reflects the current style. The Staff were helpful without being intrusive. Over all a very nice experience.
Cons: Not a big deal but the water in the shower took some time to become warm enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great visit here. Comfortable bed. Everything is so lovely. Coffee machine , microwave , good size TV if you need it. The setting is so beautiful. Nice and quiet by the beach. There is a little cafe at the beach if you want a sandwich or ice cream. Dinner is a drive away. Only 10 mins though. We could stay here for a week with a good book ! There a rooms for families too. A great dive school at the beach if you’re into that.
Cons: Nothing !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place, we will definitely return
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is such a lovely peaceful place to stay. Everything was effortless and wonderful and the hosts are helpful and friendly. Great breakfast.
Cons: We enjoyed everything.

7.0 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really clean and smart, rooms a good size, staff fabulous, cooked breakfast available, happy to provide vegan and gluten free options. Lovely stay. Highly recommend.
Cons: Very minor points - breakfast service a little slow. Expected full continental breakfast (different meats, cheeses, salad veg, diff fresh fruits)
8.0 Excellent

9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a very pleasant hotel in an ideal location for touring Jersey by car. Very pleasant and attentive staff and a good restaurant. Bed rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds.

10.0 Excellent

Cons: Only that we wish we could have stayed longer
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic Accomadation, beautiful furnishings, faultless.
Cons: We had a wonderful stay and special thanks to the young lady from Malta on reception she is a real asset. The older gentlemen working in the bar and dinning room lacked a little personality and a smile.
Durrell Wildlife Camp - Trinity - Building

9.3 Excellent
Pros: A dusk walk with a member of the Wildlife Camp staff, unlimited access to the zoo, being outdoors, learning more about the work of the Durrell team and the wonderful animals they care for.
Cons: Flaky wi-fi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Glamping at the Durrell Wildlife Camp was truly amazing! The pod was perfect and the safe were all so nice and inviting. We are planning our return trip for next year already. This has been a truly amazing experience and I urge everyone to do it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent & the tent was really comfortable & the log burner really made it cosy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Accomodation spacious and very clean. Short walk to the zoo with unlimited entry which proved invaluable as the first time we went in hardly any of the animals were visable.
Cons: Considering how much the accommodation cost I was a bit put out to be asked to pay extra for additional logs/kindling for the wood burner. Had to wait for the kettle to boil on the electric ring which seemed to take forever when we were desperate for our first cup of tea in the morning.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: second time visit still loved it going back next year!!!!
Cons: nothing all good
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful weekend at the Zoo. Everything was spotlessly clean and pods were well equipped complete with egg cups. It’s an amazing conservation zoo where the animals have lovely enclosures with lots of greenery and waterfalls. Children loved it. Already planning to return next year
Cons: The internet rooter was taken in the night and there was suggested that we could have moved it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A literary mecca for Durrell book fans. Astonishingly comfortable glamping. International visitors should not miss this hidden accommodation gem. Super fluffy beds, proper private showers and toilets and your very own kitchen. What’s more, beautiful birdsong and small wildlife throughout the day. What better place to read (or re-read) Durrell’s books! Friday and Saturday nights you can takeout Thai and Pizza and eat under the stars on your private tent deck with a bottle of wine. Have you ever had thai curry while watching lemurs come and go? Incomparable! The zoo’s restaurants serve fancy hot entrees (several notches above most zoos - see photo) so they are a reliable daily meal option. Particularly like the fact that the “tourist” dollars spent here benefits not a corporate hotel chain, but the wildlife center and its conservation projects.
Cons: Nothing! It will probably never please people who dislike outdoor camping and its small inconveniences (fluctuating temperature, wildlife sounds) but they wouldn’t get glamping anyway! Check weather and prepare accordingly because you are under a tent with no climate control (there is a lovely wood fired stove).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We left wishing we had stayed for much longer. We had no idea what to expect when we booked but any expectations we could have had were totally exceeded. We had a sleeping pod plus separate are with kitchen and bathroom. There was decking with table & chairs plus lingers. Our pod backed onto the trees that the lemurs use to sunbathe in the morning so got some great photos. Enough equipment to enable you to cook. Probably the only thing I'd recommend adding is hairdryer- particularly for those of us that don't need it for other accommodation. Seriously wish we'd booked in for longer as we were so chilled out Recommend staying for a Wednesday or Sunday evening as they offer dusk tours with keeper after hours which was fascinating
Cons: Shower taps are a bit stiff - that's how hard you need to look for a negative
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A first go at ‘glamping’! A great setting, waking up to the sound of the animals in the mornings. Really happy to be supporting so many conservation projects which couldn’t take place in the wild. Combining the stay with experiences with the keeper team plus the twilight walk through the site when the public had gone gave that extra touch. All of the staff are clearly passionate about the animals they care for. The accommodation staff are equally enthusiastic and welcoming.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The tent was spacious and it was great to have our own private shower/toilet facilities and kitchen. Adam, the staff member who checked us in, was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: The tent leaked a little bit because of the heavy rain during the night but it wasn’t a big deal.

Pros: Location and comfort.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything - the location, hotel & staff were superb. This is a place where customer service is at top level. We are hopeful of returning next year.
Cons: The weather - for the most part it was cold/wet but it is testimony to the hotel that even though the weather was not good, the hotel was a comfortable place to be - almost home from home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: having the beach across the road.
Cons: a few more cereal choices at breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Hotel needs to go green and do away with Toiletry bottles and Individual jars of jam most of which is wasted.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The view. We had one of the rooms at the front with a balcony. Easy access to the beach. The water was crystal clear and a super bay for swimming. The beach is raked and rubbish collected every morning which is good because there was a constant flow of local teenagers with disposable bbq and boom boxes (not so loud you could hear them at the hotel) what a fabulous location to grow up and to see them enjoying the outdoors. The hotel has lots of facilities we didn't use, didn't need to with that beach. Staff all excellent. Restaurant is proper old fashioned service, lovely. Tablecloths, napkins and even some silver service genteel.
Cons: It was really hot and we couldn't find the switch for the ceiling fan. It was hidden behind a large table lamp. Even after housekeeping showed us, it was pretty ineffective and they brought a table fan. There was a wedding on the Friday so the restaurant menu was restricted which was disappointing. The food was fine but the choice very limited. We saw there was a wedding being set up in the garden on the Saturday so we decided to eat elsewhere.
8.3 Excellent

Cons: Wouldn’t let us sit near windows Bath dirty No air con Pool attendants rather be on the

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel, the view from the balcony, the beach and coast, the pool.
Cons: A walk in shower

Pros: Service was excellent
Cons: Join in the middle of the bed- was resolved with duvet and comforter
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff and service were great. Quiet location.
Cons: Rooms need a shower curtain . Sea view is great but no functional balcony disappoints.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff amazing, location nice and peaceful but within easy reach of towns.
Cons: Nothing, was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel I found impressive. From the wonderful attentive staff, to the accommodation, to the swimming pool to the beautiful gardens. Everything about it screams luxury and quality.
Cons: Our room was in direct sunlight so even with the blackout curtains drawn, it retained the heat massively which made the room uncomfortable. We had a fan but I think with weather patterns changing across the world, it’s time for air con to be in every room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was perfect for a break with my mum. Good substantial breakfast with a variety of food from traditional to healthy fruity options too. The poolside is very enclosed and relaxing with great views of the sea and golf course.
Cons: The bathrooms are on the small side and have a shower over the bath which is difficult for the elderly. The water from shower goes over the floor if your not careful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: fantastic!!! What else can I say. Well positioned, lovely staff, food and accommodation. Jut Great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Attentive and accommodating Duty Manager Andrew helped us to find a suitable room for our stay

8.8 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Superb hotel with impeccable staff. Restaurant is very good indeed. Excellent bar. Wonderful views over West coast. Very peaceful location. Room is well stocked with drinks and fresh fruit. A small fridge was provided in our room and was useful.
Cons: Main areas have air conditioning, but some rooms rely on fans or opening french windows. No other criticisms and this hotel is highly recommended by me.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The food and staff service was excellent.
Cons: We were fortunate to have had good weather, but as there was no air con the room at night was uncomfortable. It would have been an advantage to have had a room fridge.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic views over the bay. Beautiful pool. Lovely views at breakfast which was a lovely spread.
Cons: It's a very steep hill down to the shops and beach which would be a problem if you had mobility issues. Maybe they could offer a golf buggy to assist people.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The views are stunning and the food is excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Limited sun beds by the pool
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean. Lots of clean towels were provided. The bathmat I'd requested was there. All the food was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was surprised when 'Happy Anniversary' was put on the dessert dish!
Cons: The room was smaller than I'd expected. Because of its position, the wall at the side of the window obscured the view of the sea slightly.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Food good. Staff very friendly.
Cons: Room was too warm.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff looked after us very well. The food was very good, particularly the vegetarian.
Cons: The breakfast was not very well organised, porridge took ages and was served at the same time as the haddock I had ordered. Also the fried eggs were left out far too long and were over cooked and rubbery, not very good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect from the minute we arrived. Staff were exceptional; ALL friendly, polite, efficient, just so lovely. Special shout for lovely Sean and Clare who kept our glasses topped up. They will know what we mean!! Highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Will be back. Definitely

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location excellent
Cons: Bed extremely unfortunately and room and decor very dated
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was absolutely fabulous, and very convenient for exploring the rest of the island by bus. The breakfast was really good, plenty of choice, and hot dishes cooked to order. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant, and there was plenty of tea and coffee, as well as free toiletries
Cons: The wifi was poor, and didn't work in the bedrooms, and the choice of TV channels was limited. My room got very hot at night (it wasn't the hotel's fault that we had a heatwave, but the window only opened a little way).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room upgraded from a single to a double. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was great!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location, hotel was spotlessly clean, best mattress even took a photo to buy one. Breakfast great. The price is for location as bang on beach. I have stayed in st aubins for half the price. It was perfect this time as my mum couldn't do too much, however I would probably stay in st aubin and get bus to brelades save a lot of money. Buses are 2 quid and the accommodation in st aubins is equally as good.
Cons: Only thing I didn't like was the carpet lol, clashed big time with wallpaper. But that just being daft. Nothing to dislike
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: I feel this hotel would benefit from A/C

Pros: The Facilities and friendly staff and the location I would recommend this holiday to couples and families
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Good reasonably priced cocktails. Fantastic location with the hotel right on the beach.
Cons: Couple next door screaming at each other at 2am- obviously not the fault of the hotel. Room was above the hotel entrance so noisy when the function at the hotel finished last night. Shame they turned the lights and heaters off at 10.30pm on the terrace whilst people were still sat there enjoying an evening drink.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location on beach. Lovely staff. Good breakfast. Nicely decorated room, with reasonable space. Quick response to any request - more hangers, extra towel for 3rd room user etc
Cons: Uncomfortable sofa bed - even for a child - needed a topper at least. Bathroom very small for a suite that took 3. No facilities for a third user - towel, gown etc - until requested a few days in. Pool area unbearably hot - needs aircon or some sort of solution. Lounge rather old fashioned and lacked ambience. Hotel should supply proper loungers, parasols and towels on beach, not rely on cheaper local support.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was well situated with a small terrace overlooking the magnificent beach. We enjoyed walking along the board walk to other cafes or to purchase the daily paper. The staff were friendly and most helpful. The spa facilities were first class and could be entered from the beach. Beds extremely comfortable and WiFi provided a strong signal.
7.0 Good
Pros: breakfast was ok you could do with incorporation more cold options and breads , location is amazing, your reception area is dated ... needs to be upgraded looks tired , room was OK clean and comfortable , staff were really nice and helpful , friendly atmosphere and the location is amazing. Prizes a little expensive but Jersey is expensive. Spa was lovely and my treatment really nice.
Cons: Reception area needs upgrading is looking really tired. This should be done soon as possible.... as is the first thing you see when you enter the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really good, lots of different foods to accommodate all needs, the only niggle I had was the coffee wasn't piping hot, the room was clean but small, but ok as we were only showering and sleeping there...
Cons: To treat all residents the same, we had a slight problem with the sandwich rule...
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast Gym
Cons: Waiting for attention at the terrace bar, sat down two days in a row, staff more interested in talking than watching who arrive and serving them.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location and stunning sea and beach view from the sea view rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds, helpful staff and a beautiful location
Cons: Nothing - it was all great

Pros: We liked everything about the hotel. It was exceptionally clean and it was good that our room was cleaned daily. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful which gave it a family friendly feel. We had booked airport transfers with the hotel which was great and despite the bus company being too busy to take us back a staff member took us in their own car which was really helpful and kind. The breakfasts were great with plenty of choice and the staff in the restaurant were really friendly and provided a fast service. The on site cafe was an added bonus also. All in all great value for money.

Pros: I needed somewhere inexpensive for an overnight stay and this met my needs perfectly. My en suite room was clean and had everything I needed, breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful - especially the man on duty who went above and beyond when I arrived after 9pm to provide me with a sandwich when all nearby cafes were closed.
