I think the hotel had an excellent location. 3-4 minute walk to the Convention center. The room was spacious, had a good view. The only downside is that the facility is a bit outdated. Other than that, everything was really nice

No parking for a truck. Small vehicle parking only. No hot water on Friday morning, nothing like a cold shower. No one had an answer for any inconvenience, pretty much sums up Salt Lake and Utah as a hole.

Pros (+) Light rail stop is right outside. Kid was drilling locks out of Coke machine and guy down stairs was on it.

Pros (+) Easy and quick check in, clean rooms and central location.
Cons (-) I've been staying at the plaza off and on for years, the pool/hot tub is always out of order or being maintained.

Pros (+) Comfortable bed, clean, functional bathroom. The room was quiet, and location was within walking distance to where I needed to be. I would go back!
Cons (-) The room was very small, but as I was alone, that wasn’t an issue. It would have been tight with a second adult.

Pros (+) Great location to downtown! The rooms were pretty good quality and appear to be updated.
Cons (-) I visited while the outside temp was 105 and the interior hallways to the rooms matched that or exceeded that. The room AC was great but the halls were too hot.

Pros (+) The location is great. Light rail stop right out front. Half a block to the convention center. Only feet from the Salt Lake Temple if you are interested in sightseeing

Pros (+) It was in the heart of Salt Lake City across of Temple Square, across of Abravanel Hall, and City Creek Shopping Center. The free fare zone helped to get around using the train in front of the hotel and several buses nearby. Nice view of the city from the hotel.
Cons (-) I found a few stains on the upper part of the shower curtain, lack of space to put luggage down, and a cold draft coming from the balcony door even though it was closed. This was mainly due to the snow storm though.
