Fantastic location, we had an early morning flight out of SAT and we couldn't have gotten much closer for a quick morning commute! Close to shopping and restaurants, so you don't need to venture far if you are just looking to get in and out to the airport. There is also a Murphy's USA gas station right around the corner, cheap gas to fill up your rental prior to return! The staff was really nice and polite, they were great to deal with. The rooms are a little dated, and could use a definite refresh. The bedside lamp had two burned out bulbs, so one of the queen beds had no light (I swapped one from the other side, so both sides had at least 1/2 bulbs working). The room was dark in general, it could definitely use a lamp in the corner. The bathroom was very dated, with the towel bar coming out of the wall and the caulking coming out in places. I wouldn't say there was a cleanliness issue, but you can only get old stuff so clean. The linens were on the lower quality side, but got the job done. $125 a night was a little high in my opinion due to the outdated nature of the hotel, but made up for by the staff's professionalism and the location. Getting out at 415a with two young kids and to the airport for our flight couldn't have worked out better!
