Location is close to everything!
Room smelled funny and bathroom stinks
i wanted a room change to the other side of the hotel and it was granted without difficulties. also i wanted to stay a little longer after 12 check-out time and the nice lady at the lobby allowed me to do so. she was super nice!price is decent for the quality of the room. although its a inn they treated us like hotel guests!
The girl who checked us in was friendly, as were the security guards (yes, they have a security guard when you pull up).
Room smelled, sheets were old/worn out, only 2 outlets worked, lobby closes after 10pm so you talk through a SECURITY WINDOWSo check in wasn't so bad, except you have to provide an ID for each individual, as well as anyone who visits needs to check in (no visitors after 10pm). The security one has to go through is REDICULOUS after that; signing a liability waiver, always providing ID when you pull into the parking lot, lobby closing after 10pm without guests allowed - basically it felt like I was living in a college dormitory but smellier. On top of all that, when we got back to the hotel at midnight there were 'sketchy' characters standing outside the hotel and the security guard just let them stay around! Beds are old and lumpy with nasty sheets. Honestly, I have stayed in hostels and motels that were nicer (and cheaper) t...
The staff was really friendly, there was a security guard on premises at all times, plenty of parking, and close to everything.
The bedspread had several burn holes in it, so I didn't feel great about the quality of the bedding, but I slept comfortably enough. It was actually better than I expected it to be; although it's an older hotel, it was quiet, the staff were friendly and it was close to everything I wanted to be near. It's also pet friendly, which I know is hard to find for people with pets. The bedding needs to be replaced, and everything is a bit dated, but I was perfectly comfortable and happy with my stay.
access to expressway
old and run downI have stayed in worse but will never return
the location. it was very close to Sea World and La Jolla beach
the bathroom floor wasnt 100% clean, and there one very small bar of soap. No other toiletries. It was a room. It had a bed. It had a restroom. Which i guess is all we needed. I would recommend to bring all of your toiletries on your trip. dont expect much, but hey we only needed a place to crash for the night. We were there late, and out early.
the hotel was very poor in overall appearance. We found a long hair in the sheets when we rolled back the bedspread, so we received a refund and went to a different hotel.one of the worst ever.
Price and convenience to Hotel Circle was a positive.
Not well maintained, but not dirty either...just rundown. Group of kids staying there running around outside the doors. Not happy about there needed to be a security guard monitoring the parking lot, but I guess it's better than having things stolen.
They did have a guard at the front of the hotel to make sure know one parked there but there guests.
The front receptionist was very rude, We ended up on the 3rd floor in order to get to the elevator u had to go through a door and u were between two doors and all there washers & dryers it was very hot and humid waiting for the elevator. It's a very old hotel. but for last minute and no other hotels having a room available it was someplace to sleep. They have no cable, no wi-fi and our room smelt wicked. They don't have coffee machines in the room noir due they have any in the front office to offer you.
