The Riverleaf Inn Mission Valley is an ideal place for guests to take in some of the scenic, picturesque side of San Diego. The hotel focuses on a simple, neat presentation that features functionality woven with form. The light, cool color schemes of the outside, rooms, and lobby are representative of the overall relaxed atmostpher created within the Inn.

If guests listen carefully, they may be able to hear the soft hush of the river next to which the Inn is positioned. Not only does the hotel benefit from being situated next to a calming body of water, it also puts guests in an ideal location to access any of the activities and attractions that have made San Diego an international destination of choice. Nearby, there is the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, the famous Balboa Park and the Fashion Valley Mall, not to mention all of the restaurants that give San Diego it’s distinct flavor.

The hotel features helpful amenities as well as those that give that little extra smile at the end of the day. In addition to the pool, there is a Jacuzzi for some extra relaxtion. There is also a convenience store if guests have to grab something they either forgot or suddenly crave. And the meeting spaces accommodate business people as well as casual get togethers.

The place is run down. Mold in bathrooms, rooms smell moldy. Air unit doesn’t work very good. Staff are wonderful

This is a good place to stay when you need basic accommodations and don’t want to spend a lot of money. The room was a decent size and was clean. The staff I interacted with were very courteous and professional.

Pros (+) Colors in the room and the gray pergo floors
Cons (-) Ants, water and light leaks, only bad overhead lighting, no bedside or other lamps, no accessible outlets for phone or laptop charging, miniature and exceptionally thin bath towels, phone not working, cable tv so basic you couldn't get the name of the show with a show, floors way too thin when someone in room above you, extremely sketchy area at night.

Cons (-) The room smelt awful, the pool and hot tub were unbelievably disgusting and all you see in the parking lot is druggies. Trust me this is the last place you want to stay at. It was by far my worst experience with a motel/hotel .
