The Pearl Hotel is a modern and stylish boutique hotel. It was built in 1961. The Pearl Hotel is 2.2 miles from the San Diego airport and close to the downtown Gaslamp Quarter as well as tourist attractions. It is also a great spot to host an event such as a wedding.
There are 23 rooms on site on two floors. All rooms have air conditioning, daily maid service, telephone, WIFI and satellite TV. Some rooms have an insuite jacuzzi. Choose from rooms with queen or king sized beds. The strand rooms have the larger beds as well as rainforest showers. The rooms also have desks and chair, and some have poolside views. Room Jewel #5 has a patio and so does room #3, and room #21 has a shared patio. Oscar's Room has a betta fish, and the biggest room is room #9 with a patio and king sized bed.
There is a restaurant on site called Charles and Dinorah. It serves brunch, dinner and there is also a bar. On Sundays there is a brunch during the summer. It is under directive from executive chef Andrew Santana. The menu changes seasonally and serves globally inspired cuisine.
The Pearl Hotel has a pool with a big screen TV that plays movies. The pool deck has hammocks and floaties for guests to use. The desk is 24 hours. Guests can rent bikes from the front desk. Designer toiletries are complimentary. Guests can choose from games available in the games center.
