Great location, very clean and modern, free bike rental and free wine hour
A little pricey for not having a view of anything but the inside of the hotel
Wi-fi was poor.
Problems with renovation
I liked the location to downtown SF
I didn't like the following The light in my bathroom was a timer that I couldn't control and would go off every 2hrs all night keeping me awake. The staff at checkout didn't even ask me how was my stay, did have good time, zero care for my experience. Poorly clean areas do to remodel, the whole place seems like a war zone at the moment.
Location is great. Clean and interesting details.
Small rooms. Interior windows are noisy from outdoor HVAC units, no breakfast, no hot water tea makers in rooms.
Friendly staff. Lobby. Free coffee in lobby
Friendly staff, fantastic location and I was so pleased with the park-and-stay price that we got.
No pool, small room, no gym - although they will give you a discount at the YMCA next door.
good location but has issues
The back of the hotel faces the Embarcadero and view of the Oakland Bay Bridge that lights up at night. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Complimentary coffee and tea in the morning an d water always available in the lobby.
Constant whirring noise all around the hotel didn't allow a good night sleep. One of the two elevators is under construction. Concierge must help with luggage since there are only stairs at both the front and back entrances.
A little touch that warms the heart
The staff here made the San Francisco dream of an 80 year old birthday girl come true! A foreign friend had a dream to spend her 80th birthday in San Fran with the view of the Bay. The hotel staff took care of every detail including some bubbly, little cupcakes and a gorgeous hand written birthday card! Tears of joy were flowing when she got to the room and she hasn't stopped talking about it yet! Huge kudos to the hotel for making such a difference to the lives of visitors to our city!
Don't miss the farmers market across the street on Saturdays.
Room was a little small but nice
Very friendly staff. The complimentary wine and beer hour was great! room was clean and comfortable. Would stay there again
Perfect for the San Fran experience at a good pric
Our bay view king room had a view of the Bay Bridge in all its LED lighted glory, which was awesome. View of the ferries, and quick walk to the Marketplace, Saturday Market, and Exploratorium for the kids. Also walked quickly to the trolley stop and a playground. Perfect location.
We paid extra for a bigger room (bay view king, plus bigger sq. footage) but it was still small. We needed to set up the pack and play for our baby, and once we did that, we couldn't easily walk in our room. Also, the only real option for parking is valet, which is an additional $54/night!
