The bathroom is super clean. The sink is not clogged (where most hotels are).
The doors inside the room is so old and not appealing. The room was super tight. Our queen-size bed room came with a living room. We never even used the living room. I would have rathered have a bigger bedroom than a small bedroom with a useless living room. The pillows were not comfortable at all.
Quaint, Quirky, Exquisite
My partner and I checked in for a semi-local one-night getaway. Seriously, the staff (everyone) is ridiculously kind and warm. I feel like the young lady who checked us in's name is Ann; she was sweet, graceful, tactful, and thorough. The location was prime (for us), the amenities were unexpected, and there was plenty of restaurant options.
Seriously, the only downside was the firmness of the bed, but you just can't please everyone.
Excellent customer service
Building is too old
The staff was very friendly, there was an elegant ambiance about the whole place. Didn't get a chance to dine at the in-house restaurant, but it was very busy the whole stay so it must have been good (though expensive). This hotel is located in the heart of San Francisco, so getting to other restaurants and shops was easy as pie.
The cleanliness of the room could be improved, there were several hairs on our bed and a big stain on the sheets. The room size was very small, and had very little natural lighting because our window faced another building. The bathroom was teeny, though immaculately clean. Also, the parking offered by the hotel is $50, so it is cheaper to park in the parking garage if you are just staying one night like we did ($23).
It was in a great location. Close to restaurants, Market St for shopping, cable car very close, Rooms are clean, offers (HBO, Free Wi-Fi and Restaurant in the Hotel)
The rooms are to small, to hot in the room (muggy), drinking glasses were not wrapped in plastic, parking is to expensive.
Return stay at Hotel Abri was great. I was upgraded to complimentary suite. Staff is always very helpful and friendly.
Location, mainly. Good sized room. I needed to do a bit of work so the desk was handy.
Too much furniture in the double room!
average good. very kind hotel staff and wonderful location. and safe.
The location was great, just a couple blocks from the Powell cable car turnaround, bart station, and all the Union Square shops. We had a room on the top floor and it was a good size for a city hotel.
Great location also meant that there was a lot of street noise at all hours (eg, nightclub across the street). But we just kept the fan on as white noise and it was fine.
The location and value of the hotel is easily the best in San Francisco. We have stayed at this hotel many times and are always very satisfied with the service
Clean room good shower
City noise very disruptive to sleep. I actually got up the next A.M. to find out where street work was being done.
The room set up was very comfortable and allowed for eating, watching a movie and playing a game with my kids. And the bed/bedding was very nice.
The smell in the room was not great; we brought in a few gardenias from the flower stand and it did the trick.
It was close to everything!!!
Its in a really noisy part of town
The staff were very attentive, friendly, couteous and helpful. The location is ideal for San Francisco...very close to the Cable Car and Union Square and the bart station. Decor was good and the room very clean and modernised.
New upgrade is fantastic. Staff extremely friendly and very helpful. Location very central and great for shopping and easy to get around from.
