House keeping kept knocking on door throughout trip despite do not deserve sign. Room of 5-7 very drunk women being loud and disruptive throughout the night. I definitely did not think it was a party hotel when I booked it. Didn’t get much sleep as a result. Not what I was looking for.
Good location. Clean and well-functioning hotel.
Rooms are somewhat small if you are 4 people in a room as we were. But I guess that is the case in other hotels too. The hotel is located right at the top of Nob Hill, and it called hill for a reason: You'll be doing quite a bit of walking up or down the hill. That is San Francisco for you. We didn't mind. Part of the attraction. But worth considering if you are somehow impaired. If so, you may want to choose a hotel which for example is level with Union Square.
The staff are willing to help and make everything much easier for everyone
Top of the Mark is an elevator ride away!
I forgot summer in San Francisco is fog season
The location is great and the hotel was clean.
The room was extremely loud. We were awakened all night by slamming doors, loud housekeepers, and someone trying to enter our room at 1am. The ice machine was broken on our floor and the mattress was old and uncomfortable. After calling vallet for our car and waiting 25 minutes, I asked again only to find that nobody was getting the car. This hotel was very overpriced for the comfort and service.
