Perfect compliment to Hamilton
The room was huge for SF hotel standards. Beautiful view toward the Bay. Very comfortable bed. Very quiet - never heard a neighbor even though our room was right next to the elevator. The spa was also very nice. I most recently stayed at the Fairmont, which is also very nice, but I actually preferred the Huntington and it was quite a bit less money.
Wasn't nuts about the restaurant - The Big Four. Very dark. Not a very friendly vibe. (In fairness, we just stopped at the. Ar as we were getting ready to leave). My wife and I ordered Sunday morning mimosas. $32. Just a bit of a downer given that the rest of the experience was so positive
Look past the Intercontinental and The Fairmont
The room was surprisingly spacious and much bigger than what was advertised. The view onto Huntington park was spectacular.
Daily fee for wifi in the room.
Beautiful hotel, perfect location.
The staff is nothing if not attentive. Very professional, courteous, helpful. The room was very nicely appointed. We were upgraded to a very large room which was more like a suite, making our week stay very enjoyable. The bed was extremely comfortable! I would definitely stay here again.
We both felt that the $15/day charge for internet was excessive and off-putting. Unfortunately, the service we were getting with verizon was almost unusable, but we weren't willing to pay that kind of fee for wifi, which is free just about everywhere.
Wonderful hotel, great staff, great location
This hotel was fantastic! The rooms had plenty of space, the staff was attentive, we will definitely return!
VERY friendly and attentive Bellmen. Delightful Staff
The view was great. The service and the facility were also wonderful. totally worth the money.
Location. It is located up on the very steep hill which you may not notice when you use Google maps. For travelers who solely rely on public transportation should be prepared to climb the hill or plan ahead for ground transportation.
Fabulous hotel, fabulous location, great staff
Fantastic as Always
Really enjoy the Huntington. Professional staff and also provided a courtesy upgrade.
The staff is friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay perfect. Room service is fast. Parking valets are always available. The bar/restaurant is a wonderful place to unwind at the end of the day or drop in for a night cap. I love this place.
The staff were phenominal! No better way to end the day than to sit down in the lounge and listen to the piano. All around beautiful hotel.
the hotel has a relaxed style with the trappings of luxury. Most of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made us want to return
Some of the check in staff were rather aloof and unhelpful
Quality of service provided, location of the hotel & value for money
Loved the charm of the Hotel. Wonderful huge bouquet of Lilly's in the lobby. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, especially the doorman!! Very informative!! Our room was clean, large and so comfortable. Yes, the windows do open and it is so nice! The location was perfect!
Nice, helpful staff, old world charm, beautiful view from our room in the 6th floor.
Nob Hill is not as central as other hotels.
The staff were exceptional, attention to details superb. The rooms were beautifully appointed. The location of the hotel to the theater district and Union Square is very convenient. I will definitely stay there again.
