I've always appreciated the Intercontinental Brand, and this hotel certainly continues their prominent tradition of providing excellent customer service and care. I was a little hesitant to travel to SFO due to the media portrayals etc, however the areas I stayed in (including here at this hotel) were completely removed from any vagrancy or homelessness which made me feel incredibly safe walking to local restaurants/shops etc. John, the bellman, is top tier and will go above and beyond to ensure you have a good experience. Bill from concierge is also an incredible guy and asset to the hotel due to his extensive knowledge and expertise. 10/10 -- will be back again!

Pros. The room was very nice and very comfortable. Service was teriffic.

Cons. I could hear noise from other rooms through the vents late at night. Food was just okay. And $62 for Self Parking is ludicrous for a half-empty garage - even in San Francisco. It was almost half the price of the room. No good.

Pros. Bed was comfortable.view was nice

Cons. We were next to a family that had several rooms. Doors were slamming all night. Loud noise, kids crying. We had to finally call down to front desk but it continued all night. Uncomfortable

Pros. The room was amazing and clean... The bed was very comfortable, the view was great but most of all we were impressed by the incredible staff - so friendly, professional and helpful! What a great experience.

Cons. Honestly I cant think of a single thing... The hotel is working hard to protect their guests and are constantly cleaning/sanitizing... Very grateful!

Pros. I was on a top floor with a good view. Very friendly staff; I know they are all doing the best they can in this tough times.

Cons. If you plan to stay here long just know that no room cleaning is done until you check out. My stay was for 6 nights and I was only informed that my room would be cleaned on the 5th day when I was checking in. I know this is due to covid and them being careful but which person what to stay in a room that’s not being cleaned?! On the 3rd day I asked for my room to be cleaned and since they have a time that cleaning is done - it was done on the 4th day.

Olivia, Sep 2020

Pros. The bed was comfortable and the location was excellent.

Cons. There was no hair dryer, the room was dirty, there was a sock under the bed, a mask on the chair, and leftover food in the mini fridge.

Pros. Comfortable bed, clean, and free room upgrade!

Cons. Parking situation was not good. The hotel has first come first serve self parking because of COVID but charge valet prices still. The parking lot was full so I had to find use a public parking lot.

Cons. Restaurant and food options are really limited for such a nice hotel

Ivan, Dec 2018

Pros. Clean, had an indoor pool. Staff was friendly enough.

Cons. Everything was overpriced, maybe I’m not a 4.5 star hotel guy. Parking was $70/night incl tax (after 1st night I parked outside), water in room was $8. I needed some antacid at night, 2 tabs of pepto=$2. I guess I was expecting more, or it’s really for people who will use the bar and drink more. Water pressure in shower was too low.
