The hotel itself was OK. The neighborhood, on the other hand, was not. I had not taken two steps outside the car when a man on a BMX bike offered to sell me drugs. I hurried the family into the lobby and we used an Uber to get to/from the hotel for the rest of the stay.
One working elevator in a 16-story hotel makes for a LOT of time spent waiting in hallways. Not what I expect from a Hilton-branded property.
During our 6-day stay over Gay Pride Weekend with full capacity, only one elevator was in service for all 16 floors. Wait times were not in keeping with a Hilton brand hotel.
Pros. I love the rooftop
Pros. Very close to Union Square, Metro, Muni, Buses, Cable Cars, etc.
Cons. Like that is was close to everything but not in the center of it.
Pros. Helpful staff and very clean rooms.
Cons. Unable to sleep because located next to an extremely loud music venue that operated until the early morning. Rooms without desks or chairs to work in during the evening. Scratchy sheets and pillows with no support. This part of Mission is a bit rough.
Pros. Location and price
Cons. Small room, two outlets did not work, parking too expensive
Pros. Got a great room price for SF standards and it was modern, New, clean, walked to Giants game, not exposed to noise @ the game. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Convenient location. Breakfast
Cons. Valet parking- $$$$$$$$- crazy , neighborhood needs lots of love
Pros. The desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. They sent up maintenance immediately when I told them the safe was locked before I checked in.
Cons. The safe was locked when I checked in, the housekeeping staff forgot to empty a garbage that had food scraps in it, and the shower door is very difficult to open because the glass door doesn't quite clear the stone entry.
Pros. Friendly accommodating staff. New and clean. Good location.
Cons. First room was fine, then they moved the 3 of us to one very tight one with the only light coming from a light well - inadequate room lighting - much too dark. Okay breakfast offerings. Two fire alarms on one day - evacuation at 8 am and again later.
