Excellent location and friendly staff
The room was very nice, great tub in the room, comfortable bed, very clean and comfortable
We happened to be staying at the hotel at the same time as a professional basketball team. We felt a bit like second-class citizens, there were fans outside the hotel, it was a bit overwhelming. Our room check-in was delayed 1-1/2 hours and that messed up our dinner plans for the evening. We also had some trouble with housekeeping and communicating with them. We were only staying for three nights and didn't feel the need to have our bed made, our towels changed, etc., but evidently that caused a problem with housekeeping. Long story short, it's a beautiful hotel in a great location in San Francisco but for the money we spent we felt a bit cheated.
The location, comfortable beds and helpful staff
Bed was comfortable. Service was extremely good. Food at the restaurant was good.
Everything was exemplary
From check in to check out everything was smooth and fast. Always love a Starwood property. Also, the hotel wasn’t full so an upgrade was in order. Nice quiet room.
The St. Regis San Francisco is a hotel in the Marriot family of locations. This is a luxury hotel decorated in an urban-styled manner. It’s located in the SOMA District of the city and is connected to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. There are incredible views of the city sky, some of which look out from rooms up through the 40-story tower.
The St. Regis San Francisco has 214 rooms. There are also 46 suites available to choose from for those who want a little more space. The suites come with butler service so guests can have all of their needs met during their stay. The decor in the rooms is very neutral and clean. There are pieces of art that accent the spaces in the fashion of the area the hotel is located in. Suites feature large tubs for soaking, rainforest shower heads, multiple TVs, and high-end furnishings and linens.
Guests can order room service around the clock. There is also a Grill restaurant within the hotel. The food is traditional California food with modern influences. It’s open every day for all three meals, as well as for brunch on the weekends. There is also the Lobby Lounge for light lunches and tasty cocktails. The St. Regis San Francisco is located very close to a plethora of other dining choices in downtown.
Visitors have plenty of choice for things to do, including spa services, a fitness center, and the adjoining museum. Union Square, with its luxury shopping and other attractions, is close by too. Those in town for conventions will be just a block away from Moscone Center. There’s also AT&T Park right near the hotel.
Whether traveling for business or pleasure, St. Regis San Francisco has luxury accommodations that will work for either. It’s in the heart of downtown San Francisco so there’s always something to do.
