Location near bus stops, Bart, and many downtown attractions. Rooms small, newly renovated, clean and well kept. The proprietor, Vik, was available, friendly and very helpful. This is a fine, economy hotel!
Location has a few homeless souls nearby. We are not bothered or deterred by this.
Great location and the room was very clean.
Between check in and check out I didn’t see a member of staff for 48 hours. Room was ridiculously hot. No air con.
Staff friendly and always available. Room has everything you could need - iron, hairdryer, lots of towels, coffee/tea making facilities. Location is central to many things including rail line.
Some unsavoury types hang around on the street corner but that’s a fair bit in the city centre anywhere. I lt is a little noisy but just pack ear plugs.
Not far from many places in the city and is close to the BART station along with bikes you can rent to ride around the city. If you are looking for a cheap but nice hotel this place is great and secure. Buzzer system!
At times people would be Loud on the street because of the high homeless rate but you will see this all over the city no matter where you are .
This hotel’ rooms have very comfortable beds, so after turning the trip, we could sleep very well. During stay at the hotel, we’ve never heard the other visitors’ voices. Of course if you use the room with private bath, otherwise you have to use the same restroom and bathroom with all floor.
Location is the big issue, so we always used market street to reach there to avoid homeless and the smell! The smell! Unfortunately everyone smokes so you cannot get rid of it.
