Pros: A delightful place to stay. Relaxing, perfectly located.
Location, service, cleanliness, and the amenities most important to me -- Silver Pines has it all.
Pros: The room was charming. Everything I could have wanted was there at Silver Pines, including tiny waterfalls I went to sleep listening to.
Cons: I don't get to live there.
Pros: small quiet and very close to town. very friendly staff. good dvd selection.
You should be prepared for a trip back into history. After all, the place is a 90 years old. The location is on a cul-de-sac, quiet, in the trees and backing up to a creek. Picnic table down the hill. Several different buildings and all surround a large, lovely koi pond. The rooms are rustic, bed very comfortable, clean, neat. Good bathroom and well furnished kitchen. If you don't like nature, then this place might not be for you. There are beautiful blue jay's, squirrels, and several sleepy dogs. The big lodge room has a large fireplace, comfy sofa's, antiques and old photos on the walls. Piano and a computer. And you're close enough to walk to the village!
Pros: The Innkeeper, Chris was so helpful getting us acquainted with her hotel by letting us see and chose which of the available rooms we wanted. The property goes back to the 1930's and she was happy to share the history with us.
Cons: We really enjoyed our stay but would have been nice to know of the historical value from logging, to the 'arts' to 'Elvis slept here'! We were also pleased to find that some rooms had fireplace which was used.
beautiful. water flowing around beautiful garden and patio too. way better then we expected.
Pros: the view and the water
Cons: the office closes at 7pm and we couldnt get breakfast because it was too late, at 9am
Overlooking Strawberry Creek, this historic 1920s lodge is a 10-minute walk from Village of Idyllwild. Guests can feed koi in the on-site pond. Hiking at Humber Park is 3 miles away. All rustic rooms include free Wi-Fi. A refrigerator, microwave and coffee-making facilities are provided in each room at Silver Pines Lodge. After a day of rock-climbing, guests can relax during the evening with cable TV. Guests at Silver Pines Lodge Idyllwild have free access to the gym at Idyllwild Chiropractic just a 10-minute walk away. In-room massages are available. Idyllwild Arts Academy is 2 miles from this lodge. Los Angeles International Airport is a 2-hour drive away.
We both enjoyed our little getaway. We thought the cost a little on the high side for the two nights and 3 days...really one day, two nights sandwiched between two half days. The cost came to almost $--- which included the 10% tax...to us a little pricy given the issue w/ the toilet and very slow draining bathroom sink. The bed was comfy, with just enough pillows for reading in bed support. However the new bath towels brought a swirling cloud of lint that was all over the place and clung to everything. Should not happen at this price point. Bottom line? Given the high price coupled w/ the very nice surroundings; nice bed; clean cabin; spacious deck; closeness to the quaint town of Idyllwild; then adding in the seemingly small, but irritating issues that were in conflict w/ the very strict rules and seemingly detail oriented owner, we would give this experience an average rating of three (3) stars. Good, but not at this price.
Pros: It is situated in a very quiet area very near the town center. The grounds are well laid out and charming from an era I remember as a boy in the early '60's. There was a nice deck in the rear that looked out on the trees...quiet and cozy.
Cons: Only in the small details. The toilet seat was loose and the toilet itself needs to be changed to one higher and modern. The B. Rm. sink did not drain as expected. Since it was rated 3rd best Inn, these details should not have been an issue.
Enjoy your visit to Idyllwild with a stay at Quiet Creek Inn. Freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks, and guests can keep active with onsite hiking/biking trails. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and cabins feature fireplaces and kitchenettes.
Pros: The late night front desk lady was trying very hard to please everyone. But she was the only one on property.
Cons: 1) our room description stated king bed with couch with fold out bed. No couch when we checked in. Front desk stated they did not have any alternative. No room change or roll away beds.
2) We were put on a "pet" hallway. Guest across the hall had numerous dogs that barked most of the night. Front desk could not get the dogs to stop barking. We were told it was a pet friendly hotel, and we should deal with it.
Hotel has been remodeled, but bathroom is very small.
Front desk did try to offer a Starbucks $5 gift card for inconvenience. Very insulting.

Cons: For the amount of the room the bed was not very comfortable, the shower water left a weird feeling on my skin, for how empty the hotel seemed I didn't understand why we were placed next to and below people, the air conditioning system was annoying to figure out and program.

Cons: The Spa was not working properly and the pool could have been a little cleaner. Also, the air conditioner was also not working properly. If you turned the temperature up it stating smelling like it was over heating. so we had to leave it at 65.
Pros: Friendly, efficient staff. Convienetly located off freeway and near shopping centers. Very clean, comfortable rooms. The free breakfast was set up nicely with plenty of choices and a very helpful attendant. Would stay here again, for sure!
Pros: I loved the Cleanliness of the hotel, the staff was so polite. Breakfast was great, free internet and pet friendly, overall a GREAT experience. Will definitely book a room again.
Cons: I had a charge for 100 and then call then a lady tells me that it should of been returned and it was my banks fault then tells me there was damages to the room?
Pros: We liked the 2 queen beds and it was clean. Nice breakfast
Cons: pretty small bathroom, not much walking space around beds
Pros: Access to freeway
Cons: Plumbing noise all night. Hot room. Cold fake square looking eggs
Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly
Cons: The hotel is dated and the carpets are stained. Otherwise it was just fine. The room and bedding seemed clean.
Pros: Loved it!! Very clean and nothing was outdated. Very close to many stores, an outlet, the venue (highland springs resort) we were attending a wedding at and the freeway! We had a great experience!
Cons: One of the carts has a broken wheel, not a big deal though. And slow internet.
Pros: Nice design in rooms. Comfort was there.
Cons: I wish there was more late night food options inside hotel.
Pros: The staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly even when busy. Our room was not only ready but the air had been turned on and it was nice and cold (almost 100 outside!). The room was huge, the bed was clean and comfortable with extra pillows.
Cons: The pool was being fixed when we arrived and though it was ready for use that night it needed to be skimmed, which is understandable since it had just been out of order. The breakfast was lacking also, while there was a choice the flavor was very bland.
Pros: This hotel is great. It was very clean, the beds are comfy and the breakfast is great.
Cons: The pool was dirty, but in their defense it was really windy.
Pros: Stayed in a King Bed Suite. Was very spacious, felt like an apartment living room. Bed was very soft and clean, with white comforter and sheets, very different than the usual gaudy colors of other hotels. Friendly staff & nice breakfast in the morning!
Cons: It's about 30 min drive from Palm Springs, but is worth the drive when compared to the price of hotels in Palm Springs.

Pros: Buffet style breakfast. Make your own waffles or pancakes.
Secluded pool and small spa.
Cons: Very small breakfast area- 6 tables max
Pros: The room, staff, breakfast and pool exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our overnight stay and would recommend this hotel 10 out of 10 times.
Pros: Excellent staff
Pros: I did not go. I cancelled my reservation do to health problems.
Pros: Hemet, CA doesn't have a whole lot to do for anyone touring, but we were here to visit family. After finding out how small our relatives home was, we ended up booking at the last minute at Quality Inn. I was a little nervous because I didn't get to do my usual exhaustive research, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice Quality Inn Hemet was! It looks like the bathroom was recently updated. The bed was clean and firm. The maid service did an excellent job everyday. Tonya checked us in and she was so helpful giving us a little background about Hemet and some tips about the surrounding neighborhood. Quality Inn was just 2 minutes from our relatives which was a huge plus, but also so close to many stores and eateries. I would definitely stay here again!
Cons: The carpet seemed a little dates, BUT I normally wear house slippers or shoes when I stay in any hotel/motel. Also the rest of the room looked clean and well maintained and the bathroom did look recently upgraded, so perhaps the carpets are next on the list! They weren't awful by any measure though.

Cons: Some of the staff was lazy and unattentive and the breakfast was horrible
Pros: Closer to the venue I was going to.
Cons: The room was not available upon taking it. Bed was not made and it looks like it has been use. Also the room where we are relocate was not completed as well. No towel.
Cons: The bed was broken and slanting on one side, the tv did not work and the breakfast was bad.
Pros: Location to what we had planned
Pros: Girl at front desk gave us a room with microwave and refrigerator. Grocery store across the street. Comfortable sitting chair in room. Breakfast.
Cons: Freeway noise. Didn't like location of pool and jacuzzi. Not very peaceful.
Pros: The breakfast was very good, compared to other places I've stayed.
Cons: The shower head could not be adjusted for stream; it was stuck on the most intense stream.
Pros: The location was great for in/off the freeway. Good hot breakfast with lots of options available. Good tea choices but coffee was so-so.
Cons: No, not really, everything was fine.
Pros: Breakfast was decent and the staff was very pleasant.
Cons: Right by the highway. Super-loud noise throughout the day and night.
Pros: Easy access
Cons: Black out blinds we torn and sun came streaming in woke me up 45 min early.
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: The bed was terrible. The box spring was completely broken making it look like a banana. I saw this on a review before I made the reservation. Obviously they have not made any repairs to their beds.
Pros: Kitchenette, cleanliness
Cons: Pillows said 'firm' on the case but they were in no way firm. Staff put our shower curtain on backwards and that caused the water to go everywhere one morning.
Pros: Location, Fringe in room, everything

Their continental breakfast has delicious scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, bagels, and lots more. The room (mine anyway) is very quiet. The shower head is wonderfully wide. Ample parking.
Cons: The bed sheets were rough. My view was the neighboring building's brick wall. It won't impress anyone.

Cons: I am travelling with coolers and there is no freezer compartment on the fridge.
Pros: The hotel was good.
Pros: We were in town for a wedding and wanted to stay in the area overnight. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Plenty of parking.
Pros: The directv.
Cons: Cannot change input on tv. The breakfast is awful. The basketball court is too close to the vehicle entrance.
Pros: clean, modern rooms we'll kept
Cons: too close to freeway

Pillows were terrible. go out for breakfast!
Pros: My wife and I liked the location, the cleanliness, the view from our rear deck, the hiking trail on site, the goodies for breakfast the next morning, and the owner. The owner/manager was on site and when we walked through the property, he walked up and asked how we enjoyed our stay.
Cons: The shower, which is pretty aged, but saw that they are in the process of updating them all. I saw a finished shower and it was very nice. My wife and I were not a fan of the queen bed. We both woke up sore. I think this will be replaced also. The new owner just took over at the beginning of 2017 and has been working hard to update everything.

Cons: It needs a good overall cleaning. The inside of the bathroom door was grubby with several long dark hairs stuck to it. The internet didn't work well at all. The 'breakfast' was just cereal and other sweet foods which we don't eat, so it did us no good.

Cons: No, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
Pros: The location was perfect; a great relief to get off the traffic-filled freeway.

Cons: LACK OF CLEANLINESS: Outside walls and stairways are filthy. Beddings could look cleaner. Overall, hotel needs a full upgrade to make it look cleaner.
Pros: Location and distance from the outlet stores
Cons: I waited 10 minutes before front desk clerk came so I can check in. She was very unpleasant. She only asked for my credit card, handed my key card & pointed at where the room is and didn't say anything else. No shampoo and conditioner.

Pros: The location was great and close to Morongo and also a place to eat is not a problem.
Cons: None. Everything was great.
Pros: The customer service was great but my weekend was ruined when I was charged 5 times for the room. It was an error blamed on a new system, but since I used by debt card I was left with NO MONEY to enjoy the stay.

Pros: Didn't have the room type I requested. Room was somewhat dirty. Beds weren't comfy. I asked for extra pillows and didn't get any.
Pros: The staff was friendly. The location was easy to get to. Walking distance to food and shopping. Pet friendly (did not bring mine)
Cons: The room had a bad smell. I came with my own pillows and linen and used lysol all over the room to start and still woke up itchy and with bug bites. The refrigerator would not even turn on. The wood floors were nice but, I made the mistake of walking on them barefoot and it was disgusting. On the wall it looked like some one threw food and it was stuck there. I think if these things were corrected this would not be a bad place.
Pros: Close to Town & Food
Cons: Parking lot is shared with other businesses who will tow your car if you are parked on their side of the lot.
Didn't feel like the hotel was in a good area.
My bed was way to soft and almost looked slept in with wrinkled sheets
