Excellent hotel in a prime location. Constanly being cleaned. The staff are all friendly and the bar prices are great especially if you want to hit the town later. Close to Kanya. 10 min coast walk to Mambos and Cafe Del Mar. Will definately be returning, Excellent value for money Nothing at all!!!
Clean and spacious hotel in a good location. Very helpful staff who let me extend my stay for a nominal fee as my flight wasn't until gone midnight. No wi-fi - not even in the lobby
Great value on budget. Pleasantly clean and quiet. Definitely will go back if I visit Ibiza again. No. Regarding the reasonable rate, we couldn't want more. It was just perfect.
Everything was great, staff friendly, great location and good food.
Family run, very clean, basic room but large with air conditioning. great location close to cafe mambo & del mar, nice part of san antonio, 5 min walk to marina. nice pool and garden area for relaxing. staff very friendly, good for familes and couples, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in, in san antonio area. No was pleasanlty surprised
So much better than it's 2 stars. Really good, clean, spacious, well kept hotel with very helpful friendly staff, great pool and pool area and poolside bar. Rooms cleaned properley every day. Rooms good and spacious, brilliant air con, spacious balcony (we hosted cocktails everyday on ours for 6 people!) Towards the end of our stay it became very 'family' with lots of kids dive bombing in the pool but a small gripe really - it was after all the start of the school holidays
It's Ok for this value of money. Beach near hotel is very small and not clean. But bus terminal is in 15 minutes by hike from hotel. There you can take bus to magnificant Cala Tarida or Cala Bassa. Internet access is only in lobby and it is not free. Breakfast is not bad but drinks are awful.
Staff was nice, location a little outside the noisy town centre n close enough to calamity gracio. Breakfast was ok, varied enough. Priced reasonably. Cleaned ok daily n towels changed daily. Our room had a balcony. Pool n sunbeds in the hotel which we used on our last day. Thin walls, could hear neighbours. Our room was on the front n noisy at night. Bed linen too thin n itchy. Food quality not great. Mostly the noise at night was the problem n we where off peak, can't imagine what must be like July/august.
clean, close to the beach, good fun
Unbelievably clean and organised. English lady at reception has been there for years and understands your query. Nothing is too much trouble. Quiet hotel in quiet but lovely part of Sant Antonio. Nothing to dislike. I guess the hotel caters more for couples 40-70 and little excitement for younger guests, but.....
Great staff, very helpful, hotel value for money, food pretty much ok,great big room, clean room, cleaned it every day, parking area, pool, quiet hotel, you can relax-NO entertaiment,as most hotels have, that wakes you up from 9 oclock in the morning with music and pool gymnastics!!
The location was very nice and convenient ,close to the seaside with all the cafes and bars while quiet and peacefull the same time.Food was good and the staff was helpful and gentle. Renovation of rooms
Top Top location minutes walk from Mambo, e30 per night for one with a view of the sea and balcony with breakfast, had stayed in a rat hole in town the previous night which had cost more, can't fault this hotel in any way for the price, would defo stay again.
Great location close to the beach and only a short walk to the noisy centre.Good location for all ages.Very good for the price
Nice Location, 10min from city centre. One minute from the beach, nice swimming pool. The staff is sympathetic. The room furniture is a bit old fashioned, but everything was well cleaned.
Friendly staff, renovated hotel, well located. A little, noisey.
Hotel Staff very friendly, helpful, flexible and professional. They provided us with a lot of very useful travel info to discover the island, including places to see, restaurants etc.
Nice, clean, big room, very friendly and helpfully stuff, free internet in room, just perfext for this price.
Very friendly and knowledgeable day staff, great simple breakfast, excellent position particularly if you are clubbing at Eden, Cafe Del Mar, and a short taxi to Privilege etc....Cool TexMex theme restaurant across the road No Pool!!!! Wifi was not working in rooms (although free in receptions).
The breakfast was great for the price
location of hotel is good as its close to the bus station. rooms are a decent size.
Staff excellent, food good There was a bad smell of sewers. Air conditioning was not good enough.
Very small and the the AC doesnt work. If plannin on bring a person back i wouldnt because the security gaurd wont allow them in the hotel...i tried! But not a bad place just to take a few hours of sleep then going out again. They dont have double beds however even if you book it that way. Every room has single twin beds but you can move the bed together.
We took the package which included breakfast + dinner. ood was decent and dinner themes every two days. Swimming pool right accross the street is nice and easy to access especially to relax after a all-nighter party! nice lounge music being played at the swimming pool too. By the way, the description doesn't mention that internet is 1eur/10min but Wifi is free! convenient stores all around the hotel. some beaches are reachable by foot, sunset strip with cafe del mar, mambo also accessible by foot.
The location was excellent and the hotel was great value The breakfast was the worst thing I have ever tried to eat, it was horrible.
Helpful staff with excellent English. We had a very small room, without a balcony and very little room to move around the bed. Barely any room to even store suitcases.
Extremely noisy cleaners at 10 am in the morning and unfriendly and unhelpful staff
Facilities of the room were standard, pool was good: clean and well maintained. Staff were helpful. Breakfast lacking.
the staff were excellent.the food ould have been better, but i would say the price i paid, i was probably fair enough, and in general, for the cheap price i paid, i was impressed
hotel staff were very helpful and pleased to assist.breakfast was everything you could ask for-from cereals,to cold meats and cheeses to a full cooked breakfast.rooms have air con and a fan-both of which are effective.try and request a room with a balcony otherwise you shall get a rather boring view of the rear of houses etc like i did!!! the hotel is about 500 meters from the action
Nice location, very good price, not so noisy. Dobrá lokalita, velmi dobrá cena, v hotelu byl relativně klid - záleží hlavně na hostech, každopádně hotel není v rušné ulici.
clean, great value, friendly atmosphere, good location, and good breakfast too
The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help. The rooms are cleaned every day. This made our stay even more enjoyable. The food in the hotel restaurant is fresh and well served. N/A
When arriving at the hotel I was informed that we had only paid for one nights accommodation... We then had to fork out extra money to pay for the 6 remaining nights
It was near the bus station in a quite part of town definitely good place in November. Manager was very friendly and helpful, good price and clean.
The room was comfortable and clean. really good location and easy to find. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hostel. There was no computers available to use and no kitchen.
The staff were lovely and location was brilliant.
Location was great! Near bus station, port, beach as well as there are many restaurant and supermarket nearby! nothing much.
Staff, Breakfast time (8:30-10:30), 24 hour reception and the receptionists remembered the room number from the first day, room for luggage incl. shower at the reception avaible for use in case of late depart to the airport on the way back home No aircondition at my room but it is written in hotel description so I knew it will be the case, the room didnt smell good
Hotel owner, was very good with us.
good location, quiet, clean, good breakfast
Both receptionists were very kind and helped us with all the queries we had. The water from the showers were salty and the corridors were dirty from the rubbish that other guests left.
not much the view thats it. i did not like the ants in the room and how clean the place was its really a hostel and not a hotel.
Receptionist was friendly and helpful, food in restaurant was quite good. Pool looked clean. Near small, crowded beach. Given choice of two rooms but people already in one of them. Room smelt damp and nasty, quite a few ants. Would not have used kitchen area and certainly not have stayed longer. Poor decorative state, damp patches above shower, holes in sheets, power unit switch in room, 3rd bed against the only, small wardrobe the bed would have needed to be moved to use wardrobe. First table sat at in restaurant had wet chairs from air conditioning unit dripping on them. Had to visit reception a few times to get air conditioning in room working. Pool area uninviting, loungers dirty, glass on floor.
It was ok, but really similar to dormitories. Mostly young people stay there to party:)
Cheap hotel, close to seacoast. Not so far to city center. Friendly staff :)
I had a great view but was dissapointed with the noise of the hotel, both inside and outside. also the fire alarm was set off and I was made to stand in the street for 45mins. I would not stay in the hotel again.
Receptionist who was checking us out - very lovely lady - polite, helpfull, understanding. Well done keep up the good job, thank you. The most shocking place, we've ever stayed in my life - the room we had was smelly, dirty, with spiders all over the place, bathroom was filthy and the safety deposit box was in the entrance hall where everyone access to. There was no hot water and some members of the staff were rude. I will never ever stay there in my life and I recoommend everyone to stay away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The staff were helpful but unfortunately young and inexperienced with no support. The location was good. The room and hotel/room facilities poorr and the cleanliness poor. The hotel was noisy. We were given a different room to that booked with no balcony or facilities and had to be moved. The hotel was in no way comfortable or enjoyable to stay at.
I think the staff from the place are a delight! The hostel is very close to the beach and it has a very good connection to Eivissa Town. Although San Antonio is known for the noisy people all over the night, the hostel is located in a quiet zone and you could get a relaxing sleep after a long sunny day. -
I liked the position of the hotel in Ibiza island, and that the hotel is really very close to the bus station. Some of the personal does not speak english and is very difficult to pay with a credit card lately in the night.
nice hostal in a quiet location. good value. nice room with balcony. breakfast included in price
Room is clean and good looking. There is a lift. Without mini-fridge in the room. Without place for drying beach towels and swimmwear.
Great Staff - Very Helpful and Polite to all their customers. For what we paid - the room was very comfortable and clean. They also have 24 hour porter, which is definitely important given the clubbing atmosphere of Ibiza.
Very nice hotel staff, they realy helped with directions and advices and everything ,the room is ok compared to the price. You should choose an exterior room ,i had an interiour and the noise was too much. But nice hostal, and excellent staff.I would recommend it. the noise.
I have been to Ibiza for the last four years and have stayed somewhere different each time. This place is perfect for people who need somewhere secure and quiet to stay. We went for a long weekend and the hotel was in a perfect location just behind the west end. The price was cheap and the room was clean and had a fan supplied aswell. Not good for large groups of people on a first hols in Ibiza. There is no pool and the one around the corner isn't that lively.
the hotel was good if you don t want to spend a lot of money- it was really cheap!-and the room was clean and comfortable. the staff was friendly and speak english. the only problem was that the room didn t have fridge and air condition. As concern the location, if you like san antonio, west end, eden and es paradis, is perfect, but personally i think that is better to stay in playa d en bossa because everything is close, like space, bora bora , pacha and amnesia!
This is a book that you can judge by the cover. If you're not going to Ibiza to party, don't stay here. Superb location, great atmosphere/people staying there, and easy enough to connect to the rest of the island. Facilities were adequate and the pictures were accurate: it's a fairly basic setup but you should only be in there for four hours/night! As you would expect, a hotel staff that deals with young party-goers for four months of the year is a little short on patience. No incredibly rude stories, but you're going to find some pretty cold hotel staff members. Room was changed twice during a five-day stay, which was more than I would have expected.
Its a party hotel, probably the most fun there is. They charge for everything- AC, using the safe. They do not allow guests to come in unless they pay since the hotel is also a venue for concerts.
I liked the atmosphere during the day around the pool. Everything costs money. Although you pay a reasonable amount to stay there nothing is included. You even have to pay to use the spa in the pool!
if you are looking for a party hotel this is just for you. no.
Atmosphere, in-house entertainment in the form of live performances, proximity to town and key attractions. Extremely overpriced for the facilities. Staff generally nonchalant.
Good hotel. Not amazing especially mid sept onwards. Big rooms with plenty of space. Must ensure you get a room with a pool facing balcony. Did not like the fact that non residents were not allowed into any part of the hotel. Friends who we met out there were unable to cone to our room, as were females who we met on nights out.
great pool, good location, fun atmosphere for under 25s
This place hands down was the funnest hotel I have ever stayed at. Live shows and DJ's. Pool tables, internet, game rooms, two pools, multiple bars, nice rooms. By day and night the place is wide open. If you like to party and love music, this is the place to stay. Lots of eye candy to keep you entertained as well. The check-in time said 1200 on my sheet, but when I got there they said it wouldn't be until 2 or 2:30. I waited until almost four in the lobby. It took up a huge part of my day. The staff behind the front desk seems completely lost and understaffed. The service at the front desk is the worst I have seen in all my travels. If you're looking for service don't stay here. If you're looking to party, than this is your hotel. It is loud at night with people yelling up and down the halls so if your looking for quiet, don't bother booking this hotel.
The party The staff
Room was very basic! Hotel was friendly and had a really good time. very basic room
We loved the location and the atmosphere of the hotel. It really suited our needs as a hen party. I would return to this hotel. The reception staff were rude at times and there were lots of little hidden extras to pay on arrival.
Absolutely lovely hotel with the friendliest staff!
Location was excellent, room was new, one of the managers was helpful with info (e.g. where to eat, which clubs to go), most of the staff were earnest and helpful, they had a clean pool and ample deck chairs, breakfast was simple but adequate, free internet access with computer terminal was great. And again, location was excellent. Towels were not changed everyday, no phone in the room, no alarm/clock in the room, one of the hotel staff (the lady) was not pleasant nor helpful which tainted the experience. Despite these, the pros still outweigh the cons, and would definitely stay there again.
The best location in my opinion, you can walk to everything in the San Antoni and in the same time you cant hear the noise from the night clubs. I loved the staff and the decoration of the room. Clean with good ac and free wi fi in your room, or balcony if you want too, I think its one of my best hotels that I visited in Spain
Clean, modern rooms. Helpful, friendly staff. Great location.
Nice place really! Easy to make friends with people from all over the world. The folks at the reception/bar are also very kind and will give you all the advice you need for a good time in San An. Ok, the place can be a little noisy at night, but all in all it's a great place to stay.......
location, very central and close to night life and ocean
Hotel staff is awesome, very helpful for finding things and making suggestions. Good location with a nice pool for sunbathing. Quiet despite being in Sant Antoni. The bar also serves food if you don't want to leave the hostel. The sliding bathroom door doesn't have a lock.
The hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating. The willingness to help their guest goes above and beyond expectations. It was a very relaxing place, and I would definitely book to stay there for the price and view overlooking the sea.
The hotel is near of the main bars and restaurants of ibiza like cafe del mar , cafe manbo and allow watch the sunset every day . Its is near of centre of San Antoni where is the most of beaches ands pubs .
It was simple, yet very good and efficient. People were kind all the time, and very helpful.
very welcoming and hospitable owners, very clean and generally a nice place to stay absolutely nothing
Lovely pool, mostly had it to ourselves. Nice terrace for breakfast. One of the better hostals in San Antonio. Poor position on back streets (these streets were filthy); 20min walk to sea/nightlife. No balcony. Breakfast not included. San An town is awful! Locals threatenening to 'bottle' my wife and I!
Excellent service. Liked the nice breakfast that was served until 12. Nice swimmingpool.
The cleanliness of the room was spotles. Towels has been changed evrey day. In general the hotel has 9 from 10.
Quiet Hotel, lovely pool, close to Centre, Friendly Staff, Clean Room
Friendliness of staff & owners; location outside the busy tourist area but easily accessible by car or walking; I would also have liked that the sheets be changed every other day;
The hotel had an excellent location in san antonio, far from the noise from pubs and clubbers, the facilities are excellent, very cosy and fantastic place to stay. Near from the main bus stop that took you to the different beaches near by. Great swimming pool in the hotel and very quiet.
It was close enough to San Antonio - but away from all the drunks etc. Good pool area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good modern bathroom.
It was very quiet, especially for being near San Antoni. The first few nights I spent there I saw no one other than the owners and one couple outside at the pool. Everything was extremely clean, the bed was made every day, and the staff was friendly. It's only a 5 minute walk to either the beach or the West End. Overall, I recommend and would come back. If you want to meet people, this is not the place. While there is a common area, nearly no one was there the entire 4 nights I stayed.
Very quite and away from the main centre of San Antonio, however this was still within easy reach. The cleaners leaving brushes/mops etc propped against the door whilst you were sleeping and waking you up. Also there were no do not disturb signs which would of been useful.
I liked the swimming pool, the fact that it had climatisaion and the friendliness of the manager. It is also located in a rather quite area of San Antonio but not far from the action.
I enjoyed my stay at Hostal Marino since the day I arrived. Everyone is so kind and helpful and the food from the bar is good and cheap. You can talk to the locals who also hang out there. There is a swimming pool and a chill out area where you can meet people. It's a short walk to the bus station, to the amazing sunset strip and to St Antonio's pubs and bars. My room was air conditioned, had a mini bar fridge perfect for those predrinks before clubbing and wireless internet. I would recommend anyone to stay here.
Great staff and friendly atmosphere, nice bar and pool/patio area. Can't complain
excellent location and very friendly staff. The room was cleaned every day and not too early. i thought 20 euros to keep the room on for 4 hours after the 12 o'clock checkout was a little expensive seeing as how i paid 23 euros for each full day and night
It is a perfect place to stay in Ibiza. It´s so close to the beaches, discos and Cafe Del Mar and also in a quiet area. Hotel staff is very helpfull, I felt like home in Hostal Marino. Prices are perfect. If i´ll go to Ibiza again, Hostal Marino will be my first choice.
The staff were the best thing about this hostel. Always really happy to help, bright and friendly. The food was really nice and good value for money. Free tapas with every drink. The fact the hostel has a pool is a really big draw. It was a short walk to San Antonio, but far enough out of the way so that it was peaceful and relaxing.
Staff are very friendly - nice pool and outdoor area behind the hotel. Being in San Antonio, it is inevitable that some guests might a bit noisy when coming back from discos, clubs, or other nocturnal activities. Not much can be done to avoid this.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. It had a real homrly and family feel Everything was excellent
Staff at the hotel was very friendly. Food was good. Prices were good. A/c worked fine. Pool area was a little small but nice. Location was very good: within 10 minutes walking distance to all points of interest in San Antoni. Hotel was not noisy at night. Overall I had a very pleasant experience. My mini-bar was not working. I asked them to please check more than 4 times during 3 days and nobody did anything so I just gave up since I wasn't using it much anyways...
