I CAME AS A GUEST FOR THE TNT/CLOSER MYSTERY WEEKEND, AND WAS AMAZED AT THE COMFORT AND STAFF DURING MY STAY. THE SECENERY AND LOCAL CULTURE WAS BEAUTIFUL. THAT IS WHY I HAVE CHOSEN TO RETURN HERE ON MY NEXT TRIP THIS YEAR.
We arrived at the hotel on Christmas Eve and were immediately pleased with the staff, layout and amenities. It is a place to really relax and enjoy the surroundings. Christmas Brunch was outstanding and attended by many locals (which I see as a good sign). We loved taking a hike near the hotel, hanging out in the lounge, all the outdoor fireplaces and eating a snack in one of the restaurants. We actually went out of our way to enjoy our last meal at the hotel prior to departing on our Albuquerque vacation. Highly recommended.
You felt like you were in a different country. It is so beautiful, serene and relaxing. I recommend this hotel to anyone, it's an amazing place to stay!
This hotel has a lot to offer in activities and location. However there were a couple of things they did not do well. Short sheeted beds, unable to get dinner reservations for a 50th birthday. allowed room to become depleted of Toilet paper and charged an additional resort fee per day in addition to online room and taxes. Horse back riding was great and worth another trip.
This was my third visit to Tamaya and it really was a charm! The staff was so friendly & helpful, the service was incredible from the moment we drove onto the property, the room & view simply breath-taking, food scrumptious, spa services delightfully relaxing & soothing .... what more could you ask for! Thank you so much for making a special birthday celebration & vacation even more memorable. I can't wait to return as each visit just gets better than the one before. How can that be possible?
We were very impressed with the location of the hotel in such a serene and beautiful setting. Also, we were delighted by the gracious hospitality of the staff, especially in the Santa Ana Restaurant where the hostess and server (Sharon) made us feel right at home. We look forward to a return visit.
Ahh it was gorgeous and so relaxing! It was the perfect getaway from the rat race. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The food and drinks were delicious. In fact my cousin's eggs arrived late and cold so the manager made both of our breakfast's on the house. Talk about customer service! I got a pedicure and manicure at the Spa and it was excellent. The fitness facilities were state of the art with cardio and weight lifting equipment. Not only did they have cold water but fresh cold plush towels in ice, Wow. If you want to get outside there are nature trails. On certain days they have all sorts of activities such as nature walk on the trails, horseback riding, yoga, bread making in a clay oven. I only wish our stay was a little bit longer. The one drawback is to receive wi-fi in the room there is a daily fee of $10 and the business center is only open during the week. I think the Hyatt is behind the times there, I can go to the Hampton Inn and get free wifi come on! But luckily I did not go there for business. Santa Fe was a quick 45 minute drive away. If you are looking for a peaceful setting, off the beaten path, but still in the lap of luxury then Hyatt Regency Tamaya is what you are looking for.
Fantastic experience in a beautiful setting. Multiple pools and excellent spa service. The bicycle path was somewhat disappointing for an experienced cyclist. Balloon tire bikes and a 3 mile loop is the extent of it. Also, if you don't rent a car it's a bit isolated. Great golfing and restaurants and easy access to a casino. Highly recommended, slightly pricey.
All staff that I encountered were helpful and sincerely interested making sure I had what I needed. Excellent family activities available on site. Spa and fitness center are super!
AS you approach the resort, you wonder where is this hotel, then out of the rocks appears this adobe style building. You will experience complete tranquility, incredible food, awesome hotel service and I cant even explain the SPA! With any spa service, you get to experience many more relaxation amenities! Prepare to spend the entire day at the spa! (No extra charge)
An absolutely beautiful, peaceful place. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. It truly was a place to relax and recharge; I loved the spa! I would definitely go again.
My visit was the last week of March. Pool was under construction and I had view of a parking lot. Only choice of food at 9pm on a Friday was BBQ in the lounge. How hard would it be to have an option for a milder blend of coffee? I would only recommend this hotel if I were there w/small kids that would use ammenities or to play golf. Otherwise save your money.
The bath tub was chipped the door looked like someone kicked it in. The whole room was so old and used badly will never stay again. Your front desk clerk was rude and unfriendly I hated your hotel it was awful
Beautiful courtyard with a pool. Seems like an area a family with kids could spend a lot of quality time The carpet in our room was stained, the drapes were worn out and didn't hang properly. Overall it seems like the rooms could some renovations and upgrades.
Had a great stay except that the room was by the gate, and we kept hearing people open and close it. Next time we will ask for a room away from the gate. I will recommend this place to others.
Good breakfast buffet. Nice historical pictures and information in lobby and hallways. Older hotel - old bathroom fixtures. Rom smelled like smoke.
Older facilities but great value. Jaquzzi tub. Fire place in room, patio to sit out on. And very inexpensive! Can't say I did not like anything! Great place
This is a very dated hotel and out of 300 potential rooms there were probably 20 that were occupied. Kind of creepy.
staff, room, cleanliness older building, but that didn't detract too much from the experience
Location Old bath. Dangerous slippery tub
comfortable big rooms dated
The only good thing about this hotel is that it had a bed to lay down on You have to park out back where there is no lighting and it looks like you could be shot or shanked at any time. The room had that 70's Ron Jeremy feel to it. I was just waiting on strippers to come out of the closest (if this happened I would be giving this place 5 stars). I asked for a bottom floor and got a second floor as far from the parking area as possible I think the desk clerk did that on purpose. So basically I would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone unless your looking to film a porn!
The price was good. Needs some updating.
Loved the ambience in the lobby and courtyard. The Concierge was accommodating, prompt, and polite. I think his name was Adam, he should get a raise. Also there was coin-op laundry, and free ice! I didn't try the breakfast, but my family was pleased. The fan in the bathroom was insufficient, and didn't help with any of the poopy smells.
The staff were very accommodating. The price through Priceline was exceptional ($50). The room-suite was a nice surprise for a Days Inn. We had never stayed at a Days Inn Suites property before, but will consider them on future trips. There was no elevator to the second floor and no ice machine on the second floor.
Updated, comfortable and clean
Location Stains on the floor, marks on the walls and looked like something that ran down the wall near the bed. The mattress felt like it had a frame around it and an abyss in the middle. Gross decor, old tvs, etc. definitely a " cheap hotel vibe". I left within 20 minutes of being there and went to the Hilton. Ick ick ick.
Very clean and friendly staff... Nothing...
Nice that it had a kitchen 1st time in my life had someone knock on my door and ask to check out @ 1035 am which check out is 11... as I walking out the door front desk called @11:03 am asking if I was checking out and that theirs a 30min grace period and that fees will apply. I was amazed that they wanted to check out so quickly and so repeatedly. Never in my life have I had a hotel do this to me. 11:10am I was down stairs checking out... wow very very disappointed with that part.

location and friendly staff. When I requested a 2-3 star motel in the Bernalillo area of NM it stated that it was comparable to the Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, and there was no comparison, it was ok for the amount we paid, but not compared to the Hotels you compared it to.
Just the price It's so duty and to much noises at 5:30 am
We use Super 8 frequently and this one was exceptionally good. Some rooms are affected by heavy street vehicle traffic throughout the night. However, the staff quickly put us in a quiet room.
super 8 motel in Bernalillo was one of the best motel that we have stay at.
The breakfast was decent enough. The location for the one night I needed to stay there was close to everything I needed The smell int he hallways was unique thank god it went away once in the room.
The breakfast it had a waffle maker great for the kids. It was beside a vacant lot.
HAve stayed a couple,of times, and very satisfied with everything No
Free shuttle bus to the casino I had to pay an extra $10 for two queen beds and to stay until 12pm I would have to pay another $20 late checkout fee. When I booked the room it clearly stated check in 3 check out 12. Ridiculous. I booked the room for a Pueblo Crossroad @730am
Location has easy access to Balloon Fiesta park and Santa Fe Carpet is dirty, room AC had issues
Paper thin walls......very noisy. Air conditioner was loud......fan in the bath was loud.
the cost, location and free shuttle ride to Santa Ana Casino. Last stay the 2 queen size beds was the same price as 1 king size bed. The smoke room was the cheapest also, which is ridiculous. I hope they charged the last people who stayed at the room for the cigarette holes in the bed sheet and comforter.
