Pros. Older but nice room. Comfy bed. Huge shower. Easy access to yummy restaurants. Other travelers there very nice and international. Loved the continental breakfast that was included with our stay. The cheese omelets so yummy on the croissants, made it more than the usual continental and really hit the spot. Checking in and out quick, easy and very efficient, friendly.

Cons. Carpets a little worn out. Smoke alarm battery decided to chirp in the middle of the night. Needed replacing. TV wasn’t working when we 1st got there but was fixed in no time.

Pros. Not much

Cons. Floors had stains all over. Furniture was shabby. And the smell was horrible.

Pros. This was the second time we have stayed at the Sandpiper. It is clean, convent to venues in the area and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

Pros. Nice place to stay. Clean, comfortable, convenient, and nice staff. The breakfast was good, not just rolls and coffee. It was the same all 3 mornings and it would be nice to have had different choices.

Cons. I called to check on my reservation and they said they could not find one. When I arrived, they still were not able to find it, even with my confirmation number. They did get a room for us and it was an upgrade since they did not have the room I reserved. It did cost a little more.

Pros. Bed was fine. Breakfast was fine. Breakfast consisted of heated cheese omelettes folded into the shape of tacos. They also offered slices of bread, bagels, croissants and English muffins. They had conventional pull down toasters and conveyor belt toasters. They also had small refrigerated yoplait yogurt containers as well along with fresh apples and bananas. The room had Cox cable TV. Had a pretty standard selection of channels not a whole lot but it included local news, each meal and some of the standard basic cable channels like ESPN. service was good too

Cons. The Wi-Fi was slow at times because the wildfires that were happening, which knocked out some of the communication lines at times. Is a newer generation of people start using hotels, cable TV should start being a lemonade it since it is a waste of money it makes you watch ads. It would be better for all hotels including sandpiper lodge to invest in faster Wi-Fi and ethernet instead.

Pros. Everything was fine. No complaints -- but nothing was special about this place. We arrived late and left early so we were just looking for a place to sleep. The rooms were convenient, clean and comfortable. this was one of the few places in its price range that had a pool, free breakfast and Queen (as opposed to double) beds.

Cons. $200 a night for what was basically a Motel 6 seemed pricey to me -- even for Santa Barbara. The breakfast was a little skimpy: I would have like bacon or sausage to accompany the scrambled eggs and typically a Danish or sweet roll is included. The conveyor machine wasn't working so the entire breakfast room had to wait to use the toaster.

Pros. The breakfast in the morning was great.

Cons. This is not a 3 star hotel. I would say it's 2. It was really loud. Bedding was not soft. Old facilities.
