Pros. Run down, 1st room smelled musty. Rugs frayed on stairs, staff appeared unhappy.

Cons. Hotel in great location. Pool was being cleaned, looked ok.' Free breakfast- No wi-fi, we were told it was being fixed. We were there 3 days. Shower curtain torn, towels were well worn. Looks like locks had been replaced. We felt safe. We got what we paid for. if your looking for cheap, great place to stay. We would stay again.
Pros. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast is not bad. Good amount of breakfast options. Furnishings were in good shape. Morning staff was much friendlier than the girl who checked me in the night before.
Cons. The carpets, walls, entry doors need maintaining. The a/c didn't work well and room was really warm when I arrived. The carpeting was old and horrendous brown and yellow plaid. Building is worn down. The side entry doors do not seems secure. There is not enough lighting in the parking garage. A lot of peddlers and unsavory characters roaming in the area. I didn't feel safe taking the dog out for nightly stroll and potty break. I wouldn't stay there again. I'd pay more to stay in a newer facility in a better part of town. I didn't realize Santa Fe had so much crime.
Pros. In room coffee maker and frig. Breakfast room was better then I expected. Also free premium TV channels.
Cons. Hotel under construction and tended to be noisy during the day. Out dated heating system controls tended to be a little too warm even on the lowest setting. But not that bad.
Pros. Breakfast was very good. Room and bath were good. Price was great.
Pros. Staff was great. Hotel located near a lot of major stores and restaurants.

Hallways were dimly lit and creepy, there were 6 buckets full of dirty water in the hallway due to a ceiling leak, beverage vending machines were stocked incorrectly and no refund available, dead bolt was broken, felt unsafe the whole night. Lamp shade in my room was torn, in fact everything was in need of repair/replacement. I can't believe I can't get a refund for checking out early. This is hardly a "quality" inn. Also I was told I'd get a "great mountain view!" but instead I got a view of the swimming pool and other side of hotel.
Pros. Nite clerk was nice
Cons. No AC and bed felt like a wire frame. Dead bolt didn't work and you have to rely on the the backup locking bar that takes the place of a security chain. We didn't really sleep well it made us to nervous. I'd like a refund.
