Guests can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant, or indulge in massages, body wraps, or facials. A bar/lounge and a garden are other highlights, and rooms at this romantic bed & breakfast offer up nice touches like pillowtop beds with Egyptian cotton sheets.
When visiting Ballard, The Ballard Inn & Restaurant is a great choice to consider. For a bite to eat, guests can check out Ballard Inn & Restaurant, which serves fusion cuisine and is open for dinner. Rooms at this upscale bed & breakfast offer room service and free WiFi.
Pros: Great location for a romantic getaway
Excellent restaurant next door and you can walk to all the little shops.
Pros: Our room was great!! Clean and the bed was super comfortable!!
Pros: Cleanliness, comfy robes, staff, free wifi, coffee, tea, water in Mezzanine
Cons: $5 for bottled water in room (declined), tv remote was very cumbersome to use, could not change channels other than to go up or down, making it a slow and tedious process to get from basic channels to movie channels, signal kept going out and in, wifi signal kept dropping
Pros: The pretty inn is quite convenient to the numerous restaurants and shops in quaint Solvang. It was quiet at night and very safe even when walking back to the inn after dining out. The furnishings are modern.
Cons: The rooms didn't have any convenient plugs for computers and phones, and not enough wall plugs. The pillows were not comfortable at all. And we were very unhappy over the fact our room didn't have a safe. Nor did the front desk have safes large enough to hold or computers and other valuables--that's the first time I've ever seen a hotel without proper safes.
Pros: Every thing was perfect!!!
Pros: We love this place!!!!!!! Couldn't complaint a bit.
Pros: Fireplace in the lobby. Decor in rooms and lobby! Location was fab! Close to everything, but set off main road so it was nice and quiet!
Cons: Would have liked a bath tub in our room and free breakfast like a lot of the other hotels in the area offered!
Pros: clean, friendly, beautiful rooms, very close to shops.
Cons: nothing was wrong or bad
Pros: Everything was nice. Great location too.
Cons: Not a thing.
When visiting Solvang, Hotel Corque is a great choice to consider. You can indulge in massages or facials, and American cuisine is served at Root 246, which is open for dinner. An outdoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer up nice touches like iPod docks and Egyptian cotton sheets.
Pros: Wow! A beautiful room with lots of character. Including a couple of cute little covey hole closets about 8 ft. long made into small children's sleeping areas. The owner and his wife are very nice and very accommodating. This place was much nicer than the pictures do justice. And for the space and comfort we received you'd most likely pay double at the surrounding Big Box Hotel. Like a 4 star hotel suite for half the price and much more relaxing.
Cons: If anything, the Bathroom could use some higher quality toiletries. But otherwise a perfect stay
When visiting Solvang, New Haven Inn is a great choice to consider. Guests will have free perks like WiFi, self parking, and wired Internet. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Margaret was amazing! So friendly and helpful. The hospitality was incredible. The grounds are very well kept. Our room was so nice and comfortable. The breakfast was really good. We will definantly stay here again when we go up north. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!
Pros: The grounds were very attractive, maintained well and very peaceful (aside from the road noise which you really didn't hear once inside the room). Breakfast was good. The evening wine reception was lovely. Staff was friendly and efficient. The size of the room was excellent.
Cons: The room itself could use some updating. While it looks like they intended shabby chic, but it was more shabby than chic. The door to the room stuck when trying to open it. The bed was terrible! my wife and I both woke up with incredibly stiff backs and had to go pay for massages in order to function properly.
Cons: The staff was wonderful and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious. The grounds were lovely. The furniture was sparse, the tv complicated and the pillows were not good.
Pros: The breakfast was delicious, the garden was gorgeous, the bed was really comfy, and the staff was extremely nice. On top of that the inn was only a few mintues away from town and the casino.
Cons: We made the mistake of booking it through a third party, instead of the inns website. It was about 50$ more but it was worth the stay.
Meadowlark Inn is a great choice for a stay in Solvang. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool and indulge in spa services. There's a garden, and rooms offer premium bedding and free WiFi.
Pros: The decor and boutique style hotel is what drew me in originally and it did not dissapoint. The location was centrally located and walking distance to just about everything in town.
Pros: Lovely rooms, really well appointed & decorated. Would be perfect if it had a pool.
Cons: The included breakfast was really limited - just cereal and some pastries. Ordering breakfast from the paying menu took a really long time. Despite not being full it took 40 minutes for our food to come.
Pros: Wonderful inn with stylish Scandinavian decor. Loved the room and the restaurant had great food and service.
Cons: Didn't have room service
Pros: Love the modern but still quaint vibe of the Landsby. I will admit, I am a hotel cleanliness snob, I hate most hotels. However I felt right at home here and everything was clean and comfy. I came with my husband and 2 year old and although he came in like a wrecking ball, the staff was so welcoming and definitely didn't make us feel awkward for his nutty behavior. I cannot wait to return... Especially for a girls trip! Well done LandsbyI
Cons: I wish early we could check in earlier. With check out being at noon, it doesn't allow for early check in really... But then I guess you could argue that you have more time the next day.
Pros: Cute little hotel right in the middle of town. Close proximity to shops, restaurants and entertainment.
Cons: Little on the older side but I heard they're in the process of renovating!
Pros: great value for the money excellent staff very friendly and helpful
Pros: The location was fine, near my mother whom we were visiting. The staff was fine and cleaned the room nicely.
Cons: There was no bureau to store your clothing in. The club chair was ripped with holes and very worn as well as the love seat which you could not sit in without sinking to the floor.
But worst was the carpet, filthy and stains.
I will not stay there again. I spoke to woman at the desk about our room, wrote them a letter but received no reply. I will post my complaint on Facebook and told them that but apparently they do not care.
Pros: Pleasant and comfortable room
Cons: Furniture needs updating also needs refridgerator in room
Pros: Perfect location, worth every penny!
Pros: Very nice hotel
Cons: No pool
Pros: 24 hour ice service was nice as well as the early morning coffee. The location is perfect for walking around the village. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The rooms were dated with very ugly wallpaper. The rooms and decor could use some freshening up
The Landsby is a great choice for a stay in Solvang. For a bite to eat, guests can check out Mad & Vin, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a garden are offered, and rooms get the details right with deep soaking tubs and premium bedding.
Pros: This is the second time we have stayed here. We love the friendly staff, good breakfast and comfy accommodations. It's a great place to stay for a laid back weekend of shopping and wine tasting. We were in a group and they placed us all close together near an outdoor patio where we could all meet before heading out for the day or evening. We love it here and will definitely be back.
Pros: nice breakfast, dinner menu looked good but we did not have a chance to eat there.
convenient location to walk around town and close to Santa Inez & Los Olivos wine tasting
Cons: carpets need cleaning, white duvet cover had some stains so needs to be replaced. Outdoor carpet on walkway to rooms is worn.
Cons: ELECTRIC FIREPLACE STOPPED WORKING BUT THEY WERE VERY APOLOGETIC AND REDUCED OUR FEE.
When visiting Solvang, Hadsten House is a great choice to consider. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant and visit the spa to be pampered with deep-tissue massages, body wraps, or body scrubs. An indoor pool and a spa tub are other highlights, and rooms offer fireplaces and LCD TVs.
Pros: Had a great cottage Solvang feel to it making the trip and experience even better!
Cons: No. I would stay again.
Pros: Great location, near the best parts of Solvang, but a little quieter. It was obviously once a cheaper hotel, but has been extremely well renovated, and is now super nice.
Cons: My only complaint was a stained towel, barely worth mentioning.
Pros: We enjoyed the overall charm of the room and the gardens. Very nice. Loved the gas fireplace.
Cons: The only bad thing was the location. Just a bit too far from the central hub for walking in the winter cold weather.
Pros: It was unique and charming
Cons: Small Room but still fine
Pros: Was within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Cons: No towels in the room when we arrived. The air conditioning had a mind of it's own at times and wouldn't work. Expected more for the price of the room but I'm sure it was a case of supply and demand
Pros: The location was perfect. Not too far away but not in the center of town.
Cons: The tile floor is not an inviting quality of a hotel room. The whole room needed to have the walls cleaned. They were very dirty.
Pros: Absolutely wonderful. If not the best hotel that we have stayed in, a very close second! We were so amazed & pleased with the room & staff; that we are still talking about today! We will definitely stay there again when we stay overhight in Solvang!
Cons: Not a thing!
Pros: The grounds are lush and comfortable. The room was more like a classy apartment than a motel room. Class everywhere.
Cons: Enjoyed it all.
Pros: Room was large and attractive
Cons: The so called free breakfast was disappointing. Only cold cereal and Danishes. They ran out of food and drinks before time to stop serving.
Pros: Quaint clean little motor court kinda place. Felt like a throwback to the 60's
Pros: I was pleasantly surprised. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and fresh. Loved the English garden.
Cons: The water in the faucet in the tub would not shut off, we told management about it and they hopefully fixed it...California can't afford to waste water.
Pros: Better than expected for star level. Beauitful location, reasonable price. Walking distance to anything you need. Room opened up to an English Rose Garden. i would stay here again.

Cons: Molds all over that caused bad allergy to my husband.
Pros: Awesome value! Large, clean, no-nonsense room with two queens. Came to Solvang for the ambience of the village, rather than the ambience of the hotel. So, we were seeking comfortable sleeping accommodations for two adults and two teens at the best price.
RCI delivered. The complementary breakfast buffet was the icing on the cake. Attentive staff and unbeatable location.
Pros: Room, location, breakfast.
Cons: Room was outdated and they sprayed way too much air freshener after cleaning.
When visiting Solvang, Royal Copenhagen Inn is a great choice to consider. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking.
Pros: Comfy beds, nice big bathrooms, great location!
Staff was genuinely pleasant and very helpful.
Cons: Not a thing!
Pros: It is centrally located in the downtown area. The staff are friendly and gave us all the good recommendations where to go shop, eat and local events.
Cons: Needs some updating in the interior designing with those huge furniture occupied most the tiny space. The bathroom sink have that foul smell when you turn the faucets. There is no security cameras especially when you are close to a public parking lot.
Pros: Price was right for the amenities offered.
Cons: The wifi could have been more reliable. It was either not available at all or slower than dial-up 25 years ago. In this day and age, nobody can afford to go on vacation without being at least somewhat connected.
Pros: the room was very clean. the price was very reasonable. the room had a microwave and small refrigerator that added to its convenience.
Cons: there were obviously former leaks in the ceiling and the room was very old. it could have used a face lift. the complimentary breakfast consisted of an apple, cereal, very limited pastries, and coffee. they could have expanded it a little bit. no toast, no banana, no waffle.the staff was not rude but cold and brickly.
Pros: simple easy no problems
Pros: Great value for a great stay. We came in late and they had made special arrangements for us. Free breakfast and nice folks. They also let us park all day after our stay for sightseeing.
Pros: The staff and service were wonderful. The location was the best!
Pros: Large clean room. Yummy breakfast.
Cons: Room had a funny smell.
Pros: Great Value. Location is ideal walking distance to downtown Solvang.

Pros: Have been here many times. Clean, quiet, comfortable . . . centrally located to many restaurants, shops, main shopping district, central square, the Elverhoj Museum and Mission Santa Innes. Great place for the cost and suitable for single people, couples or families. Don't forget the pool (great in summer) and the jacuzzi/hot tub (better in winter!!).
Pros: Convenient walk to all.
Cons: Room needs updating, TV screen too small, and staff not so friendly.
Pros: Staff was friendly upon arrival and check-out. We stayed in a nice studio room with a small kitchen, living room and dinning area. The room looked cleaned. Bed was comfy. Location was good too.
Cons: The people staying next door to us got very loud late at night, which is a risk you take at any place either way. They seemed to be from a Bachelorette party, so that explains their wildness -_-
Pros: Excellent customer service, very attentive staff. Plus free drinks in the lobby!
Cons: Limited parking.
Pros: Nice hotel, right on the same street as most of the shops and restuarants. Friendly staff, very accomodating. Bed was very comfy and the room was clean and well maintained.
Cons: Toilet is a little on the small and low side, but overall, everythign else was great!
Pros: The location was great! Accommodations were just ok but the location made up for it.
Cons: Rooms and surroundings definitely need an update. Overpriced it luckily, once again the location somewhat made up for it.
Pros: Su limpieza y excelente ubicación
Cons: La atención terrible, poco amigable.
Pros: We stayed here because of its close proximity to the winery's in Solvang, and the cute town of Buellton. The hotel was clean, basic, and semi-comfortable bed. Water pressured the shower was good, and no shortage of hot water.
Cons: Though the room was called a "queen", the bed was full sized. This hotel is like a Motel 6, just enough. We brought a portable did player to plug into the TV HDMI, but that was disabled on the set. They want you to buy their movies. Parking was okay, when the small lot was full, there was close street parking. Overall, you get what you paid for, as this was one of the most affordable places to stay in the tourist town. The continental breakfast had good coffee, and a bunch of carbs. No cereal or fruit.
Pros: Very clean , surrounded by all the boutiques, places to eat, can walk around everything is local. Very beautiful place to visit.
King Frederik Inn is a great choice for a stay in Solvang. You can get a morning swim in at the outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Premium bedding, free WiFi, and free wired Internet are offered in all rooms.
Pros: The location to all things in the town is great. The value is solid.
Pros: The room was very clean and spacious.
Pros: The room was clean and easily accessible from the parking lot. The inn is located near many shops and restaurants. It's a nice place to stay if you plan on only sleeping in the room and getting out to do things, as there are no amenities.
Cons: The neighbors were loud as the room is right on the sidewalk between the inn and parking lot. A lot of late night door slamming. The shower was difficult to use and could not be adjusted to a comfortable temperature. A huge spider in the bed nearly ruined the night.
Pros: Great room design.
Cons: Shower had real weak pressure.
Pros: They did a great job of making an older property seem modern and stylish!
Cons: If they can invest in better pillows we'd give it another star.
When visiting Solvang, Hamlet Inn is a great choice to consider. You'll have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Other highlights include free bike rentals, and rooms offer MP3 docks and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: Very large rooms, nicely appointed with European touches, very comfortable beds. Personal touches like leaving hand written notes and bananas when staff recognized we were there for century bike event. Within walking distance of everything in Solvang.
Cons: Parking was a little tight but alternative was available a short distance away. Check in was at nearby motel. This wasn't really a problem but I don't think it was explained on the website; I was informed via email on the day of arrival.
Atterdag Inn is a great choice for a stay in Solvang. Guests will have free perks like breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. There's also a terrace, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: From the friendly checkin through the checkout everything was taken care of professionally and very friendly
Cons: For late the late checkout they only offered a 1/2 hour extension. That seemed like the answer without checking to see if new occupants were coming in that day.
Pros: Rooms were clean and the night was quiet
Cons: Price ... too much money for such a small room
Enjoy your visit to Solvang with a stay at Solvang Inn and Cottages. After having fun at the outdoor pool, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. There's a spa tub, and rooms offer refrigerators and free WiFi.
Cons: My sister and I had to carry our suitcases to the third floor with no elevator
Pros: Such a pretty Innl! Super friendly staff and comfortable room! Perfect for a nice relaxing weekend away.
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't enjoy with this Inn.
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful, but...
Cons: The clogged toilet and missing electrical outlet cover were just a few of the signs this place is in need of a complete overhaul. The dingy carpets and mismatched furniture further hammer home this point.
Pros: Size of room
Cons: Sewer smell at times from basin in bathroom
Service could have been better like having more than one roll of toilet paper in the room although one brought up half hour after request made.
Only 2 cups and 2 glasses in room although room had 4 beds
Pros: Staff was very courteous, rooms were cute and a bit of old world mixed with modern. Will definitely visit again!
Wine Valley Inn is a great choice for a stay in Solvang. Guests can indulge in deep-tissue massages, aromatherapy, or reflexology. A fitness center and a garden are other highlights, and all rooms offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: I liked the decor and cleanliness. The rooms were generous in size, and the 2nd floor has vaulted ceilings along with balconies. The bathroom was beautifully remodeled as well as very clean and had a jetted tub. I'm not sure if all the rooms have the jetted tub, but I loved having it. I didn't need to go visit the jacuzzi tub in the courtyard. I also loved that it had a refrigerator and a microwave in the room.
Cons: I would not have liked the 1st floor rooms, as the sliding doors all faced the pool courtyard area which was caged in. I didn't like that my upstairs balcony was open to my neighbors balcony, however, with the downstairs rooms the sliding doors are visible/accessible to everyone walking by, so mine wasn't too bad. I also didn't care for the caged in pool which was caged separetaly from the jacuzzi. It was very uninviting, especially the jacuzzi. I'm sure they had to do that for liability reasons, to keep the kids from going in without adult permission, but usually I enjoy sitting by a pool or hanging in the jacuzzi, but I had no desire at this location.
Pros: Location is close to downtown. Decent breakfast. Hot shower and comfortable bed. Microwave, refrigerator and coffee make was very useful.
Cons: Every once in a while the TV volume would mute by itself.
Pros: Room was overall pretty nice with jacuzzi tub.
Cons: A bit close to traffic although not unduly noisy. slightly out of center area of the town. Bed was a bit too soft for my liking
Pros: Clean, quiet, and close to the center of town
Cons: Better blinds in the room
Pros: Clean and comfy
Cons: Walls were kinda thin...could hear the people next door when they laughed and talked one night
Try your luck at the casino when you stay at Kronborg Inn in Solvang. You can get a morning swim in at the outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Nice touches like jetted tubs and pillowtop beds with Egyptian cotton sheets are offered up in all rooms.
Cons: The bathroom was dirty. Hair on the floor and was very dark looking.
Pros: Overall, our stay was comfortable. Free breakfast was provided and the staff was pleasant.
Pros: The facilities were well maintained. Rooms were good size and clean.
Cons: Noise from the road was excessive in the early morning hours. The desk clerk was supposed to call when our room was ready, but we never got the call. Also didn't seem to know that we had paid for our room in advance.

Pros: Was cheap, didn't get bedbugs, staff was super nice.
Cons: Mostly everything else: wifi barely worked, stains on everything, all furniture is decrepit, aircon smelled bad, divots in bed where people sleep, towels were rags. There are nicer hotels for around the same price in the area. Try the hamlet inn.
Pros: Staff was polite and helped take care of an issue with Booking.com. Took me back in time, with the parking right off the street.
Pros: The location is great as the motel is located at one end of downtown Solvang, walking distance to everything.
Cons: You can hear the traffic in the early morning if your room is close to the street.
