8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location near family
Cons: Virtually no interaction with any employee except for check-in
10.0 Excellent
Pros: scenic location, comfortable room (King) with everything we'd want/need (other than a microwave, which would have been super to re-heat our coffee), and beautifully appointed common areas including outdoor patios. Breakfast was good, and the Sunday brunch definitely had a great variety of food along with wonderful attentive service. Our waitress was Irina from Belorus.
Cons: Can't think of anything we did not like. As I said, microwave in the room would have been a useful addition.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful elegant hotel in the countryside, with a welcoming and friendly staff. I had the best night's sleep in a long time in the wonderful room that was provided for me.
Cons: One side chair in the room needed to be cleaned, otherwise I had a perfect experience. They were kind enough to give me a complimentary room upgrade, and I'm looking forward to returning next fall.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful!

Pros: The Inn is a lovely place to stay. we enjoyed the indoor pool and chose the Inn over the 1820 B&B because the pool was there. It was lively as there was a wedding Friday. If you like hiking, kayaking, sightseeing it is all nearby.
Cons: the continental breakfast is very limited. All the cereals were sugar coated. The mattresses need replacement. We had a handicap room and the bar in the bath tub is below the soap dish!!!The bath chair they provided when we called was useless.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Well appointed rooms do not make up for acoustical problems. When asked upon checking out how our stay was, we explained we didn't get much sleep due to noisy room. Desk clerk said nothing, just walked away without saying anything. Terribly rude.
Cons: Walls were acoustically porous! We clearly heard TV in one adjacent room until 11:30 PM and again starting at 5:30 AM. Opposite adjacent room listened to man snoring all night. When using bathroom, it sounded like adjacent guests were showering with us.
7.5 Good
Pros: Availability when I needed it that day, and walking to restaurant...quiet heating, lovely receptionist❣️

5.0 Okay
Pros: Pleasant lobby and restaurant areas. Nice fireplace and comfortable sitting areas. Snacks and beverages in the lobby. Looks nice from outside. Close parking.
Cons: Yes - overpriced for condition of room and overall condition of hotel. Room was very worn and needs serious updating - especially the bathroom. Verged on disgusting. Peeling wallpaper, yellow stain on floor around toilet, grout in shower tiles.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Free breakfast. I can well afford to pay for breakfast [and other hotels tend to have breakfast counters with Starbucks coffee for sale with counter clerks], but it is fun to help one's self, as at this hotel. It's not the money - it's the pleasure.
Cons: No. I also liked the free parking. No.I also liked the no charge convenient car parking.

Pros: The staff are super friendly and helpful. We received three bottles of water when we arrived which was a surprise. The hotel room is super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with varieties and was different on each day we stayed. We especially loved the smoothies!!! Location, location, location! The hotel is just few minutes walk from downtown. It was a sunny Saturday when we stayed there, so we got to enjoy the walk from the hotel to downtown. That's a great walk in the fall!

Pros: The room was clean and the facilities were generally nice.
Cons: The heating and air conditioning was terribly noisy. Couldn’t sleep without ear plugs. Otherwise it would have been good-to-very good. But keeping the room cool was like trying sleep in the engine room of a big ship.

Pros: It was at a central location. Easy for me to travel to Torrington, West Hartford, and more
Cons: Customer Service and presentation is important . They staff were very pleasant, but the congregation at the front desk was not a professional look.

Cons: Upholstered furniture was stick/dirty. Unbelievably noisy--could hear people whispering rooms away.

Pros: Everything about the hotel was quite nice and the staff were very friendly.
Cons: The room was not quite right. Electrical in the bathroom didn't work right. Sink had no working temp control (only scalding hot). Shower only had warm and hot, no cold. Cons: Fake balcony, bathroom setup was odd
1.0 Poor
Pros: Decent view
Cons: Bed bugs (or something worse)bit me everywhere and the whole place smells like dog urine and dead animals. The carpets and furniture are stained and filthy and the clientele appear to be drug addicts and convicts. Manager was horribly rude.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and the location of room to elevator and stairs was great. Did not eat there because it is bistro food at the bar. All staff members were amazingly nice and accommodating with the exception of one. Maybe he was just having a bad night.
Cons: They had an issue with the pool water being very murky and had a film over the top of it. When I told the front desk the guy was a little snarky about it and said he would check it out but then in a not so nice way said he would close it down if I was right like he was trying to make it our fault if the pool had to be closed down but it needed to be brought to his attention for health reasons. The rest of the staff we encountered were very friendly and AMAZING!! In the morning we passed it and it looked like they had the filter running. Jeff who checked us in was a pleasure and very friendly. The Manager in the morning was amazing and such a wonderful lady as was the young woman that checked us out. I would stay here again. Great hospitality. Room was smaller then what was in photo but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, including a fresh fruit salad, a nice touch. Bed was very comfortable and the hosts were excellent -- and their dog was a high point in the stay, with amazing tricks. All in all, we found it quiet, relaxing, and well done.
Cons: When we arrived, the host shooed the guests in the other room, a mother and daughter from China, out of the common area (their room is a really well-planned suite, with a sitting area, massive bed, and private bath). Part of the B&B experience is meeting other travelers, and we were sorry they were excluded. As it is, we had great conversation over the breakfast table the next day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and attentive hosts without being intrusive. Tastefully decorated
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Attractive accomodations, private and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit, homemade blueberry pancakes, sausages, good coffee and good company of the owners and other guests.
Cons: My bed was a bit too hard, and filled the room. The sound of traffic (which they couldn't control) was surprising in what is really a small town.

Pros: It was clean, and close to the locations we needed.

Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, easy access to pkwy, polite check in staff
Cons: Basic room decor for 3 star hotel. Only one entrance through front lobby inconvenient to parking lot. Hotel wanted to charge $10 parking fee in parking lot without camera surveillance, at your own risk.Extremely loud housekeepers in hallways and rooms
1.0 Poor
Pros: average hotel with small pool and nasty staff
Cons: Hotel staff was dishonest. Hotel charges for parking when the hotel is in a remote windsor area with tons of parking space. Ask if you parked and then start charging you for parking. Hyatt and Marriott close by never charge for parking. DONT STAY HERE.

Pros: Great hotel and convenient location. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning next time we are in town.
6.7 Good
Pros: Property was fine
Cons: You bookings changed the nightly rate by more than $100 per night without telling me. And Hilton garden was unable to correct because it was booked through your deceiving site. If there was indeed some fine print that based on nightly / higher demand nights, it was not clearly stated. I booked these nights (6) and rightfully assumed that the rate accepted would be the nightly rate for the whole stay. Just like I need to accept terms and conditions just to submit this review. What am I accepting? That I agree to being ripped of and deceived? I want the the nights that the rate jumped, refunded. So the hotel was fine, but your services were not.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Comfortable. Top notch.
Cons: We are waiting to see if the hotel is going to clear additional charges that they put on our credit card.

4.0 Okay
Pros: The decor and the rooms were charming...
Cons: The layout of the rooms was not user friendly. The stairs to each hall level (and the breakfast area) made it almost impossible to traverse with a handicapped person in our party. The location of the source of water was very odd.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine except unexpected $10 resort fee tagged on
Cons: Unexpected resort fee. Just advertize the price actually charged rather than tack on extra fees!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed is really comfortable.
Cons: The room smells moldy
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Having Piccolo Arancio restaurant next door is a major plus. This is a first-rate restaurant, exceeding my expectations for a small town like Farmington. Fork and Fire across the street is also a nice place. From the hotel we took a pleasant walk down a very New England street with interesting architecture from varied eras (back to 1640 in one case).
Cons: The street is pretty heavily trafficked, so getting in and out of the parking lot was sometimes a bit slow. We didn't hear street noise in our room, though, and this is just information, not at all a complaint.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, staff friendly
Cons: Nothing. Everything great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and clean
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were beautifully decorated. A complete breakfast is served. We also enjoyed the extras like fruit available all day, hot and cold drinks, and a choice of papers. I highly recommend the restaurant Piccolo Arancio, that is next door, excellent!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great cleanliness, room service from excellent Italian restaurant next door, nail salon next door - handy as I had broken four nails. The room was gorgeous, bed comfortable. staff outstanding.
Cons: I am disabled and there is no elevator so it was a very difficult access for me to crawl up one flight of stairs to bedroom and two floors to breakfast BUT the staff rushed to help. Bars in shower but no shower stool. The breakfast was fairly standard roadside inn continental.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pillow Bed!!! Great sleep.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: My sister lives in Avon and the Farmington was super convenient, and way better than sleeping on a couch at her house. I checked in late, around midnight, and had no issues. Staff was very friendly and hooked me up with a much needed toothbrush.
Cons: Rooms are a little dated, but quaint.
6.7 Good
Pros: Checked in real real late after having four hrs of sleep we were waken for 50 minutes of someone heave walking , not sure if it was a guest or staff getting ready for breakfast. Walls must be very thin
Cons: Staff was not helpful
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Furnishings
Cons: Some things were a little worn looking - I.e. the bathroom door in our room;some furniture in the lobby. Time to update a little. Still very nice place.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spotless room. Suited very convenient. 2 sleeping areas with privacy from each other. I like Homewood suites as my hotel choice, this one was one of my favorites.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: THE STAFF WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND IN WELCOMING YOU UPON ARRIVAL, AND THE ROOM WAS WAS LIKE BEING AT HOME. IN ADDITION TO A VERY GOOD BREAKFAST, THEY ALSO OFFER DRINKS, AND FOOD IN THE EVENING MAKING YOU FORGET YOU ARE STAYING BY AN AIRPORT.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Asked for a ground floor room, they said okay. Then a woman checking in next to me complaining about the room she was given was given the ground floor double room. And she didn’t even need the double room! I had to carry my infant and her bassenet, stroller and car seat up the steps which were missing the hand rail. Very very dangerous! The rail was obviously under construction as the metal price it would normally hook up to was sharp and exposed. A small child could easily have hit there head on it walking down the steps. Bathroom door did not close. Pretty frustrating. All in all I would find a Marriott residence in over Hilton Homewood next time.
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was what was to be expected at Windsor Locks. Took a ride from front desk to room - rates are quite 'over the top' at $187.00
9.2 Excellent
Cons: I did not like that the building we stayed in was so far away from the front desk/ breakfast area. There was no parking near our room when we arrived late at night.
4.2 Okay
Pros: absolutely nothing.
Cons: My cousin and I were kicked out for “complaints” when we were barely there. We only used the hotel room as a place to lay our heads. We came back around 3 am and got kicked out almost near 4 am. with no warning
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We ended up being there on Thanksgiving Day, and the staff was absolutely marvelous! We only had breakfast because we had to catch a flight, but the staff was very warm and welcoming...AND even gave my 2-year-old some toys for the plane. The hot breakfast was nice, and the free shuttle to the airport was much appreciated since there were six of us.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: our air conditioner wasn't working 100%
