Cons: PIck up in Hartford was a bit unorganized due to limited staffing. I had to wait for an extended period of time before the desk agent could assist me. There was one agent working both the National (?) and ALamo desks and there were at least 3 parties there waiting for assistance. The agent was very cordial and kept us apprised of how she was handling each party and the order in which she was assisting each. When it was finally my turn, the process of picking up the vehicle was very smooth and easy. Drop off was very easy as well. Would certainly rent again.

Cons: I had to change my plans. I didn't like that the reservation, unlike most car rental reservations, was non-refundable

Cons: I stood in line for 90 min. waiting for a car. Their was only one person at the desk with a line that just kept getting longer. The check in machine worked once without assistance so no one would use it. The young lady was very prof.. but needed help she didn't have.

Good value, easy, fast
Pros: Fast shuttle to the pick-up location, quick paperwork. The compact car I had reserved was not available so I was upgraded to a minivan. Car was in great condition, performed fine. Good price. Drop-off was quick and painless, took shuttle back to the airport. Would use again.
Cons: Was told I got one of the last available cars for the night, which is why I was upgraded from a compact to a minivan. Not sure if the customers after me were out of luck.

Pros: Just dropped it off here. Very efficient. Shuttle took us back to hotel.
Cons: Car was banged up, and the customer service representative was very rude.

Cons: The Payless counter closed at 11pm and my flight was scheduled to land at 11:30. I called them to ask if there would be a way to handle it or if I should re-book with another vendor. Payless said they would leave my contract and car key at the Budget desk. I arrived at the Budget counter at 11:55pm only to find that this was not done and it is never done. Payless told me it would be taken care of and it was not so I was left trying to find a car rental at midnight.

Cons: Car wasn't ready when I got there. Dropped off car with FULL tank and couldn't get the automatic fuel charge removed. Still trying with their customer service which is uninformed , bad or both. Never again
