absolutely terrible. I don't know whether they have actual humans working for them tbh because you can spend over 30 minutes on the phone, trying all 3 phone numbers they provide you with with your reservation , and no one will answer the phone. Instead, you will get sent insane when the same 4 options come back for you to choose from when you select any option and no one answers the phone. Try emailing? You will receive an automated response in German! Don't bother wasting your time and being driven to brink of utter frustration and go with another companyReviewed Feb 17 2024

I reserved my rental online and was given a total with insurance. Once I showed up to pick up my rental they knew I was coming but seemed frustrated because I had selected a pick up time a few hours earlier because I wasn't 100% sure of when my flight was landing due to timezone changes. Then they proceeded to charge me almost double the initial charge again, and because I was too tired and jet-lagged to think straight it feels like I was being jerked around and paid a second rental fee. Then to top the whole thing off they messed up the return date/time, which I clearly told them I was leaving Sunday at 5:30am and would drop the rental off about an hour prior and they set the return date for Saturday at 5am so now I have to go argue that whole freakin point too. 100% will never reserve online ahead of time again, I'll show up and rent something that is currently available.Reviewed Feb 12 2024

I waited for 45 minutes outside for the shuttle in 33° windy weather. My hands had frost nip and were firey red and swollen from the cold. The other rental companies cam and went 4-5 times while I waited for Sixt, and no one ever came. They were indeed open. But their shuttle driver apparently was on a long break. I called customer service and even they couldn't reach a live person at the rental office. So they said "we'll just refund your money" but all the other rental car companies were sold out and not accepting new reservations. Their mess up literally made a giant mess of my trip! This was after a horrible experience the first time I tried renting with them. I swore I never would rent with them again, but decided to give them a chance since it was over half the cost when I was making the reservation. But after this? I WILL NEVER RENT FROM SIXT AGAIN! Chrissy at check in was great. Full of local knowledge and extremely friendly. Both shuttle drivers were very helpful and informative. Office was closed going home, but there was a shuttle there at six to get us to the airport. Would definitely use Sixt again.Reviewed Feb 9 2024
