Both pick up and drop off was difficult with this company. My husband was the only driver, but they made us pay for an extra driver since I, his wife, had rented car on-line. The agent wasn’t friendly. Then when we went to drop off the car, no one was at the office, and the phone number listed on the door was wrong. We Finally found someone to leave the key with at the hotel. They told us that the cost for the car was very high. We will never rent with this company again.Reviewed Oct 10 2022

Need More SignsPros:Aside from the lack of signage, drop off was fine.Cons:Rental car returns are more or less across from the main terminal, however, when approaching the airport from the main highway, there is a lack of signage indicating the location (I think there is one sign hidden). Hidden charges! Very bad pick up situation at Zagreb airport!Pros:Picked up in Zagreb airport, people were all very friendly and helpful. The car we got was clean and new.Cons:After spending a long time checking-in at Zagreb airport, it took almost an hour to bring our car. It is a terrible pick-up area at the airport with nowhere sheltered to wait so we stood in the rain waiting for our car. Upon return 2 weeks later we were told there were additional charges because we left Croatia and entered Slovenia. We were not told about these charges before and they amounted to over 10 Euro per day of our rental (our price went from 250 Euro to 350 Euro). They also added on a charge for fuel -they force you into being part of their "get it full, bring it back empty" program but then charged 50 Euro fuel-up which is much more expensive than if we had done it ourselves. We were not told of this charge until returning the car, despite my questions during pick-up.Reviewed Sep 22 2017

Rental prices not as purchasedPros:Everyone was friendly and provided good service. We received a clean, relatively new vehicle, which drove well.Cons:We rented the vehicle and prepaid through Kayak. However, there were several hidden fees and taxes -- so ultimately, the car rental ended up being almost DOUBLE what we paid online in advance. Week-Long RentalPros:The car was new, comfortable and easy to drive.Cons:The rental car area is small and it is hard to find the Sixt area and their staff to pick the car up. On returning the car, there was no room to park and no one there to check the car in. Meant walking to and from the terminal twice to hand the car back. Pros:Rental part was very good, car, personal, pick-up and drop-off all AAA.Cons:They are not accepting purchased insurance from Allianz (purchased trough Kayak), renal cost per day $ 16.00 day and asking for $35.00 per day insurance or $3,000.00 credit card deposit.
