Cons:I chose a car rental for the trip because of the total price, which was 126 euros when booking. I also calculated the cost of fuel approximately 120 euros for a trip of 1300 km, which together is about 250 euros for four people, which was cheaper than a train or plane. When I asked at the counter why there was 303 euros in the account, I was told that I had already paid online and that it didn't matter. Today, my invoice arrived at 303 euros and the amount of the difference was duly deducted from my account in the amount of 177 euros. For the total amount of rent + fuel costs, which is 430 euros, I could travel by plane and cheaper !!!! Show the total price when booking, not some "astimated rental price" witch is around 1/3 of total price at the end...
Pros:Drop off was extremely simple and efficient. Could not have been easier. Signage was good despite dim lighting in garage area.
Pros:Staff was super fast and ready for my pickup. The car was incredible. We took the BMW X3 and seriously Considering buying this car! So smooth and the features are incredible. Lots of space.
Cons:I called to Sixt before coming to office and they proved that the car is ready. When I came to the Sixt office Berlin Tempelhof they didn’t give me the car. Moreover they told me that my account is blocked in their system but it is impossible. I had to wait then sent email to their security system and got this response: “ Dear Mr. Povetkin, In reference to your request, please notice that we decided to do not fulfill the reservation mentioned above and so please accept this decision and refrain from further requests regarding this matter”. This is insane and I had to find rapidly another service, that was Europecar and they gave me a car in 5 minutes. Please consider this for further bookings. BR, Dmitriy

Cons:Phone service is terrible. It is impossible to reach n human on the phone. Also they did not explain that you need a vignette to drive in the Czech Republic or Austria.
Pros:Overall the experience with sixt was nice - the car was totally new and comfortable. Although I received a premium-class car, I reserved SUV, but not sedan that I have received. That was unfortunate and rather unexpected, given the size of luggage and the quality of countryside road I was going to.
Cons:I would prefer a faster reaction - if sixt can't guarantee even the car class, then I would prefer an immediate cancellation. When I hear that my car is not available at the counter - that's already late for last minute changes.
UPSELL! booked car for 3 days total 155 euros Ended up with 2 days at 190 euros. Upsell at rental counter. Changed from 3 to 2 days and received 13 euro decrease. Called CUSTOMER SERVICE. I waited 33 minutes to get an agent. Told him 132 euro decrease for one less day was ridiculous and I wanted my original contract back. He told me there was npthing he could do. He couldn't change a contract. A customer service agent who could not give any customer service! My original contract would now go from 155 to 190 euros and now to 330 euros if I wanted the three days! DON'T RENT FROM SIXT. UPSELL RIP-OFF! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. (In fairness agents at rental and return were all courteous and friendly, just unempowered.
