Cons:I was pleasantly surprised by Sixt. I had never heard of them before this trip but now they will be included in one of my first choices. Great choice of cars and really reasonable prices. The pickup was so easy and the car was almost brand new. Return was a breeze, too. In my case, the attendant wasn't around but we just left the car and dropped the keys in the dropoff box. Very convenient. Thanks!
Pros:Staff at check out counter (Memory) and checking in (Suzanne) were helpful, friendly, and efficient. I hadn't rented from Sixt before but they had the best rate for the time/location and the experience was similar to other companies we have rented from.
We had to pay for an extra driver as the kayak/or sixt system would automatically put in that the driver was the person whos name was on the credit card. We weren’t informed of this when booking, and the sixt agent said they could do nothing about this and that it was Kayaks fault and we had to pay more money. We also had to pay more insurance as when we tried to book it said the insurance didn’t work but we didn’t get a chance to cancel the booking we just had to pay more at the counter, again being told “not their fault “. We were ripped off, it was a terrible experience. We will not use again.
This was the first time that I rented with Sixt. I was very impressed. Everything that I did from beginning at the rental desk at the airport in Honolulu, to pickpu to bringing back at the airport was great.
Pros:Nothing
Cons:It would have been good if someone was there at 11:00 when I showed up to pick up the car. But they weren’t... and no number to call. I’m still disputing the charge
Pros:Amazing! I was blown away. Beautiful facility, incredibly nice people, exceptional vehicle, down to every detail.
Cons:Charge me hourly for the late drop off instead of an entire daily rate
Pros:Good vehicle at reasonable price. Jeep Wrangler
Cons:Drop off was unattended. It is at one end of Terminal 2 and a long walk with you luggage to Terminal 1 where Hawaiian Airlines goes. Shuttle really would have been useful.
