Pros. Proximity to Heavenly Village
Cons. Lack of snow clearing in the parking lot
Pros. The room was very clean and had plenty of heat. The TV was nice and there were a good number of channels. The breakfast was just okay with cereal, coffee, and fruit. There was a nice mini fridge and microwave.
Cons. I was charged $3.00 more than I was originally quoted. The pool was filled in with cement. The carpet on the stairs was in terrible condition. The fence was rusty and needs paint. The bed was worn out and saggy. The bedspread had a cigarette burn in it and some of the furniture needs updating.
Pros. The motel is right across the street from the ski resort which is very convenient!
Cons. Dirty motel. Buy a fitted mattress sheet for the bed instead of using a plane sheet. Found dirty socks under the bed. Fix your your cable TV so it doesn't cut out every 15 sec. Overall, cheap place to stay but I probably wouldn't stay here again.
Pros. Great location for the price. Very friendly staff and adorable, spacious room!
Pros. Cheap and affordable. Literally right across from Heavenly Gondola, 5 minute walk to restaurants and casinos, 10 minute walk to beach. Manager was super helpful when I asked about Heavenly and other water activities. He gave me a bunch of brochures.. A lot of them had coupons inside. :) overall, it did its purpose. Provided my boyfriend and I with a bed to sleep on and a decent bathroom. We were outdoors most of the day and Tahoe was just a quick stopover during our road trip, didn't want to spend too much, so $60/2 nights was a great deal in my opinion.
Cons. Not that I would use it anyway, but our room was right in front of the pool. It had chairs in it and was dirty, an eye sore. Nevertheless, it wasn't a big deal at all. Rooms and bathroom could be cleaner, but again, I'm not complaining.. For the location and price I got, I actually expected it to be worse than it really was.
Pros. Literally 1 minute walk to shops.
Cons. First we got there and the staff tried to put us in a room where you could see t hr ought a hole in the door. The inside of the door had been repaired (horribly I might add). They ended up moving us. The pool hadn't been working in ages, nor the hot tub. Free breakfast was cereal that sits there all day. Who knows how old it is. The wifi is so slow it really is useless. No ac! We came back in the middle of the day and our door to our room was wide open. With no one around with our stuff up for grabs for whoever dared. They told us this is common practice. We stood there for 5 minutes, still no maid in sight! Our door was the only one open! We prepaid our whole 6 night stay through kayak. When my husband went to return the key to the office she tried charging him $50 for not flushing the toilet one day (there plumbing was horrible. Had to flush 2 or 3 times each time!) The maid who seen the toilet apparently got sick and had to go home! So we had to pay her! Lol This place is such a joke!
Pros. The management was very accommodating to us. The room was clean and a good deal for the price.
Cons. There was no air conditioning in the room but there was an adequate fan.
Pros. Quite, all day parking, easy check out, great walking distance to the gondola, very dark room, plenty of space. Overall i just need a place to sleep while i wasnt snowboarding and this did the job.
Cons. Pillows and bedway too hard, shower was very tiny, as well as the curtain for it, remote only did volume and channel control, shower head was ancient found a hair in my bed but not that big of deal really,
