Close to portland for the price. Staff was fantastic. Pretty minimalistic, but for the price you know that. Everything was clean. No bed Cots. Only 2 pillows for a queen/kind bed.
Nothing The staff was rude and very unhelpful. They kicked us out in the cold at 2am because we had one extra person show up. Fuck that place.
The front desk staff were friendly and very willing to help in any way they could. The top sheets/blanket was not washed and it was wrinkled. The bed skirt had stains on it. The door of the first room that we got before we switched had blood on it. There were pubic hairs still left in the bathtub. The women who cleaned the rooms would yell at each other in the halls for the majority of the day.
Location was ok The place was dirty and cheap! The ground felt like it had never been touched with a broom. They don't provide shampoo or anything. The elevator was the only way around the hotel and it felt as if it was going to break down.
Motel 6 has the bare minimum, and sometimes not even that. I forgot my shampoo and saw that they did not have any in the tub. When I called the front desk, the staff politely told me that they do not carry shampoo even for purchase. They suggested the vending machine which did not have shampoo either. There really wasn't a convenient 24 hour store nearby either. That, to me, should be part of the basics of a motel. I didn't mind the cigarette burns on my comforter, but I think shampoo for purchase should be available if not complementary. Just sayin'
The location for what out plans were was good. House keeping never made the beds or cleaned the floors.
Not much! Bathroom was dirty, no coffee maker, hair dryer, lotion, shampoo or soap dish!
Price was lowest in area. Wife hated two things: bathroom light couldn't be turned on without fan noise (bad), and quality of room light was harsh, like being in a bus station waiting room. I was frustrated with wi-fi: first, having to pay, and, second, only being able to use one device per paid-for code. Even then, it wasn't consistent, would drop out. We moved to another hotel for our second night before catching our plane.
Value. Only hotel near Portland that an average person can afford. The room decor was non existent. Newish make over was modern but the walls lacked any color or design. Paintings/pictures not needed but something to break up the monotony.
Nothing. It was very stark. Lots of sketchy looking people lurking around. We did not stay the night, we booked a room at the days inn. Defiantly not a place to take a family.
