10.0 Excellent
Pros: The inn is beautiful and Courtney is a wonderful hostess. Free breakfast was delicious and cookies served all day an extra treat. I’ll return to the inn.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was wonderful. The innkeeper was lovely.
Cons: The bed was a little hard- could have had a memory phone top to make it more comfy!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to provide pleasant breakfasts, fresh cookies daily and lots of restaurant recommendations. Accommodation was lovely and cozy with a very warm indoor veranda perfect for reading. Inn was right in town close to everything, 3 min drive to the mountain. They even had a heated secure room for my snowboard and gear so you didn't have to lug it inside the bedroom. Everything was delightful, would highly recommend to anybody traveling alone or with family and friends.
Cons: Everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm and Cosy Inn. Great breakfast and great hospitality.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Owner was very pleasant and awesome staff was amazing will definitely be back
Cons: All was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located less than one mile from Okemo and directly on the shuttle route. Michael, Irene, and Marlowe are very welcoming. My polite, quiet 8 year old son was very welcome and enjoyed himself. However, this is a quiet B&B and rambunctious children would be bored.
Cons: Nothing. Liked it all.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was quite good. The menu included several hot items and a buffet style service for baked good, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee, juice, etc. The rooms were quaint, nicely appointed, and the beds were really comfortable. Courtney and John were exceptional hosts; always available to answer a question or to greet you with a smile.
Cons: This is an old building that has lots of creaky spots. The walls between the bedrooms are relatively thin, so a light sleeper like myself needs to use ear plugs. With that said, everyone staying at the Inn were very considerate and respected the quiet hours.

Pros: A wonderful spot to stay. Clean rooms and includes a wonderful breakfast. The host was pleasant and helpful.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast and so neat to sit around with other guests and chat. So laid back and pleasant. Kristen is wonderful! So accommodating. The name comes from the theme of the place...Teddy bears everywhere!!
Cons: Just a little taken aback that there are no room keys. Felt uncomfortable leaving anything of value in the room since anyone could get in and how would we prove it or whom could we accuse if anything was missing. Amazing that they have not had a problem with this.... but it does tell me that if there have not been problems, the kind of people that stay here are pretty wonderful!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the bath extremely clean. The hostess was personable and very friendly. It is right on Main Street, which is very convenient.
Cons: We could hear traffic at night and the house needs updating in decor. It is a bit hit or miss in most rooms, particularly the main rooms.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great! Liked the company.
Cons: No desk in my room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds are super comfortable! Our host, Kristen, made breakfast in the morning, and it was so delicious! Loved the cookies and coffee available all day. Cute shops right across the street, and it's near the highway.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a lovely B&B and we had a great stay. The Inn was clean and the rooms were comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Breakfast was outstanding. I will definitely stay here again when I’m passing thru. Highly recommend.
Cons: Nothing. It was exceptional.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Is a beautiful and so countable place. It’s perfect place to celebrate special events. I definitely recommended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent owners, staff, room and breakfast. Upon arrival, our room seemed noisy from street traffic. When we mentioned this to Dan, he gladly changed our room to a more quiet room in the back of the inn. Very accommodating to our needs.
Cons: mirror in bathroom not great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, excellent location, great breakfast, and very friendly owners and staff. Added bonus of coffee and donuts on the porch in the morning.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Quirky different comfortable bed
Cons: Not a lot to do
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a delightful stay at the Inn Victoria!
6.3 Good
Cons: I had paid and reserved a room that had been confirmed by the property, only to find out an hour later that it had been given away to another traveler and I had no options to contest the decision, other than being refunded — and be left at 7:00PM in the evening trying to find another place to spend the night; so I had no option but to accept the room they assigned me. Also, I’m very social and love people around me, but I also like my privacy and the quiet moments I enjoy when i travel. This was not an option around breakfast. I had to listen to someone playing flamenco guitar right next to me at the table when i was not really in the mood for it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is spotless. Every amenity you could possibly need. We walked in to the smell of coffee cake in the oven. Penny and Dan are so hospitable and they know the area so well - great recommendations for anything you want to do.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great theme, great owners, great breakfast! Like being at home, but no cleaning!
Cons: Nothing.
The Inn at Weathersfield - Perkinsville - Building
4
9.5 Excellent (76 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at The Inn at Weathersfield in Perkinsville, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Mt Ascutney State Park and Eureka Schoolhouse. Featured amenities include luggage storage, a library, and refrigerator in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old building furnished to high standard
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The inn is a beautiful old building. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the food was excellent. The staff is very pleasant and helpful once you get their attention. Parking is free and plentiful next to the building. There are large roaring fires to warm the common areas.
Cons: The room was very noisy and we could hear every conversation, cough, and sneeze from the neighbouring rooms which made our room feel less than private. Plus the noise from the restaurant/ bar area was pretty loud late into the evening. We had a very hard time getting the staff to seat us for dinner both nights even though we had reservations. We sat for over thirty minutes past our reservation time and were only seated after asking many times. The rooms are clean, but the inn asks the guests to give tips to pay the housecleaners for this service. I would think the inn could afford to pay the housekeepers a decent wage with the room rates that they charge without having to resort to leaving envelopes asking for more. Maybe they should pay their housekeepers better for their hard work rather than asking guests for tips.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, beautiful location, interesting hotel.
Cons: Was not informed beforehand that there was no AC in the room (some rooms do have AC).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere was inviting and cozy. It was everything you envision when you think "Vermont B&B". From the homemade fig jam, complimentary homemade granola bars and the pottery made by the chef's wife, our experience here was more than we could have imagined.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: THE INN KEEPERS MAKE CERTAIN YOU HAVE EVERY COMFORT. THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at the Inn at Weathersfield was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, the accommodations could not have been nicer, and the staff took care of us so well. We will definitely be coming back.
Cons: N/A
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Richard was my host and he went out of his way to accommodate me with an early breakfast. Great egg and bacon sandwich.
Cons: Was there Monday and their bar and restaurant were closed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicely renovated, within walking distance of great restaurants, friendly staff, comfortable bed, pleasant bar on site with yummy drinks. A small booking snafu was dealt with quickly and graciously.

Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and appointed nicely. The mattress was extremely comfortable. The location was in town, so restaurants were easily reached. Mountain was right down the road.
Cons: It’s weird not having an inn keeper.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Thermostat was a little tricky to use for a hotel room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient. Walking distance to the everything in the center of Ludlow. Close to Okemo for skiing. Basic room, clean, updated. Free parking.
Cons: There is no elevator if you are on second floor. Wasn’t a problem for us but just so others know. You don’t interact or see any staff. It’s pretty much a virtual staff. Also wasn’t a problem for us. I suppose that makes it more affordable.
13 Hills Bed & Breakfast - South Acworth - Building

9.8 Excellent (28 reviews)

Offering a barbecue and hot tub, 13 Hills Bed & Breakfast is an earth-sheltered house situated in South Acworth. Free private parking is available on site. A flat-screen TV and Blu-ray player, as well as a laptop are featured. A terrace or patio is featured. The room has a private bathroom fitted with a shower. Extras include bathrobes, slippers and free toiletries. There is a shared kitchen at the property. 13 Hills Bed & Breakfast features free WiFi throughout the property. You can play billiards and darts at this bed and breakfast, and the area is popular for hiking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Byll is an excellent cook. I particularly recommend the "Ohio breakfast". He, Cheryll, and their dog, Hannah, all made us feel very welcome. While the bed was comfortable and large enough even for my six-foot plus height, it was it bit softer than I like. The bedroom has large windows and provides an excellent view of the valley below. It is basically the same view from the dinning room, admitting here that view is better for being larger. 13 Hills was an excellent choice for my wife and I; central to the places we wanted to go.
Cons: The only problem we had was navigating the hills at night, but one might argue that that was a self-imposed problem. That said, it is not a location I would recommend to a meek or timid driver, or one whose vehicle is not in good condition. Also, while Hannah, the dog, for the most part was very well behaved, she is very friendly and a bit nosey. The access to the guest accommodations has a "Hannah-proof" "toddler gate" which it is recommended you use. To be fair at this point, Byll and Cheryll did offer to restrict Hannah access to the public areas while we were there. Possibly, I should mention at this point, our stay was in late summer. Staying in mid-winter or what New Englanders call mud season, adds a whole new dimension.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were very friendly, the breakfasts were delicious, and the dog , Hannah was a super star!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautiful...quiet, tranquil, peaceful, scenic. A very relaxing escape from city life.
Cons: Room was a bit too small. The bathroom was private but had to leave the room to enter it. Very little privacy if looking for a romantic get away.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous views, breakfast was amazing. We loved the hot tub
Cons: Have nothing bad to say about the property. Not really much to do around the area. Great location if you like to hike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was great. The fall would be amazing here. The bed was so comfy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Byll and Cheryl were gracious hosts making us feel welcome from the start! Their home is unique and comfortable with amazing views! Byll loves to cook and it shows in his delicious breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had four incredible days at Byll and Cheryl's place. Their earth-sheltered house is a beauty, looking out on a series of enchanting green hills. At night there is utter silence, utter peace. Very special experience. The house was meticulously clean and our room was excellent - they even put an extra little bed there for our baby daughter. We loved cooking in the kitchen, which was very well stocked and spacious. Byll and Cheryl are terrific hosts and the most warmhearted of people. We hope to come back one day!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views were amazing and the area is so peaceful. Byll was very helpful and his breakfasts are to die for!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a comfortable place to stay in rural New Hampshire for a solo traveler or a couple. The hosts are gracious; the bed is good; the breakfast is cooked to order, and there is a wonderful veranda with a gorgeous view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything from the location, to the breakfast, to the hosts Byll and Cheryl and their very well behaved dog Hannah. To the amentities like the hot tub (available for use 24/7) to the amazing views of the 13 hills and the fact the bad was king size and sooo comfy with Netflix, Hulu, etc, in our room! While we were their we went in the hot tub at 7am on the morning we were checking out and we ended up seeing a total of 9 to 10 Deer in the field below. Plus we had an Owl swoop right over our car on the way to their property!! Nature is def abundant here if you are lucky.
Cons: There was nothing I can think of that I did not like.

Pros: Cozy, friendly, clean. Fun little sitting room and bar, very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, and they allowed late checkout for us since we had a snowmobile tour!
Cons: Carpets were a little dusty in the room- maybe a deep clean would resolve? Bedding, bathrooms, linens all very clean.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Excellent, superior food. Delicious, generous, well worth the money we spent. Beds were extremely comfortable.
Cons: Cleanliness ranked very low. Cob webs throughout (in dining room, living room, our room) and grossly stained bathroom floor. Old and peeling wallpaper. Bathroom walls were dirty. Old and stained carpeting. Outdated decor. Room was smaller than expected for the price, and there was NO closet!!!!! Just 3 hooks on the wall with hangars. Room rate was very high considering quality/cleanliness of room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Rooms and other areas of the hotel were beautifully decorated with style keeping the original 19th century country inn. We were only unfortunate that their highly-appraised restaurant was closed for two days including the day we stayed. Breakfast was delicious. The beautiful Echo Lake is right next to the inn.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was great
Cons: Everything was great
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable as if you were in your own bedroom. Everything was very clean and neat and pleasant to look at. The decor of the Inn was attractive and made you feel at ease. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.
Cons: Much of the facility was outdated. The Cellar Tavern could use a new pool table and foosball table. They were broken and missing parts.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is an Absolutely Classic Vermont Inn in the lakes region. I have been coming here for 50 years on and off. If that is what you are looking for, there ain't none better.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff couldn't have been friendlier, and generally helpful. Bed was comfortable. Food was nice. Hot tub nice. Wifi worked well.
Cons: As an older place, there were comparatively few electrical outlets. Steps were a little steep for my old knees. Room felt a little small.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Our room was fine. Small, no chair available, but that may have been cause the room is small and a chair would take up to much space. Breakfast was great.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and food. Super location. Love the old places.
Cons: Better towels. The staff is aware that the plumbing is very outdated.

7.5 Good
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Very dated room. Very noisy heat system. Old dated very small tv. Poor lighting.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Across the road from a very good restaurant.
Cons: Dark with poor lighting. Facilities did not match photos on booking.com No coffee tea making facilities in room. Not offered a non smoking room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Basic accommodations but very clean. Excellent, friendly manager/owner.
Cons: Sound insulation was not great. We heard everything from the unit above us, including a crying baby and yelling (and occasionally swearing) parents. Would not have been too bad if they had been less loud.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and the owner was extremely helpful. My wife liked the thick fluffy towels.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room very clean, towel supply more than adequate, close to center of town & ski area.n
Cons: Not enough lighting in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This inn is perfect if you plan to go to Okemo, but don't want to pay a fortune. They have a shuttle that brings you right to the clock tower. It is WAY faster than driving there. The staff is nice and accommodating. There is a great restaurant across the street if you ever need a bite. The rooms were very well decorated and clean. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pros: Personalized service!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I can’t recommend the Okemo Inn enough. A beautiful homely house, absolutely spotless with everything you need (including an extension led beside the bed to recharge your electronics) and a personally cooked breakfast by the owner.
Cons: Not one negative thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodations were great, the owner was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. The breakfast meal was delicious and the presentation was nice. the inn is quaint and filled with beautiful antiques. I would not hesitate to stay in the Okemo Inn again.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The innkeeper was attentive to our needs throughout our stay. A full, delicious breakfast included the best berry muffins I've ever had. Public spaces downstairs we're cozy and warm on the coldest night of the year, and stocked with tea, cider, and candy. A big TV was ready to go for the game, with a small one in our room if desired. The parking lot was plowed early to help us hit the slopes with 15 inches of fresh.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We walked into a welcoming, warm and charming old house with fragrant candles burning and festive Christmas decor. Super clean. Beautiful and cozy with cute, fun, and quaint Americana decor, and not a speck of dust. Five minutes from the mountain. Helpful and friendly owner/caretaker. Delicious breakfast.
Cons: Pillows weren’t comfortable. Coffee should be available at 6 am for early risers. Breakfast should be available 30-45 minutes earlier.
7.0 Good
Pros: Old house, well preserved. Felt like staying at someone's home. Cozy.
Cons: I had written some reviews about how friendly people were and the good breakfast. When I arrived there, late in the night, there was a friendly note about meeting us during the breakfast again. No breakfast was served but the owner was there in a day with few words, maybe. Anyway, he has been there for far many years and maybe was not having a good day at all.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Exactly what you'd expect from a nice B&B but it's really big! The Innkeepers have been at this for nearly 50 years! That says a lot and it's clear from their service that they love it. Great breakfast. Great location close to the mountain and town.
Cons: The bed was very hard... but after a day of skiing it wasn't too difficult to fall asleep!
7.0 Good
Cons: I was told by booking.com that this was the last room available so I booked it only to find out that we were the only guests there. It was completely empty.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The place was very quaint and lost in time. The proximity to Okemo was a huge plus, only 5 minutes away. Ron was a great host, he made a great breakfast for my fiancee and I.
Cons: The bed was a little stiff.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Walk to the lifts
Cons: The grooming trucks could be heard from the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Slope side was Awesome!! Access to the lifts were amazing. Skied into lunch at the apartment! Great for families that don't need to go out. One walkable restaurant.
Cons: Only one restaurant walkable option. Can not walk to pool, it's on the gore side. Check-in was too late(5 pm).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was terrific, as was the location and access to lifts and lodge. Kitchen was adequate to feed 4 adults and a 1 year old. Plenty of blankets, pillows and towels provided. Loved the private, locked ski locker for each unit.
Cons: Updating needed! Fixtures, carpet and furniture a bit shabby and stuck in the eighties.
6.8 Good
Pros: The unit is easily accessible to the lifts
Cons: The reserved parking was further away than the “public” spaces. Due to the warmer weather, the heat went off from 2-5:30 pm and blew cold air for 2 days. The property is old and needed maintenance, paint peeling off ceiling in bathroom.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We were very impressed with the well equipped kitchen, full size fridge, oven, all the utensils, pots and pans, even a steam basket and pyrex, something we've rarely seen in other apartment rentals. The bathroom was exceptionally clean with fluffy white towels and sufficient toiletries for our stay. The unit itself was spacious for the four of us, all adults.
Cons: Nothing can be done about the size of the bathroom which is tight. The one drawback was the distance to the parking lot, at least 200 meters distance. The check-in is at the Jackson Gore Inn and if you are travelling from the north, you will miss the sign for it as it is only visible from the south. Be aware that if you are not over 5'6" tall, you will never see over the check-in counter which must be at least 5 foot high! Take a step stool with you.
7.0 Good
Cons: Went to hot tub/sauna/pool. The hot tub was full of kids ( ages 6months-11, 1 was probably 11 the rest under 10). Decide to go to sauna, a woman brought her child in. Her child looked to be about 6 months old, child was in a diaper. She sat down and stayed in sauna with the infant. I was appalled (I am a rn). I left went down stairs to talk to front desk. I explained what was going on his response was I am the only one here, what can I do. Unacceptable. Dangerous situation.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room and location of the hotel
Cons: Parking
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location to the slopes
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great views and very close to the Mt. Lodge and facilities.
Cons: 2nd and 3rd floor didn't have easy access to the slopes. Next time I'd prefer a 1st floor room.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and the Inn Keepers very friendly
Cons: Antique tub was a bit challenging
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The innkeeper Bob is so personable and friendly. I was traveling along and we had coffee together each evening. He is terrific and his wife Jan - makes the best blueberry pancakes I have ever had!
5.5 Okay
Cons: We did not like how the room description stated a hot tub and there was a regular tub with jets. The breakfast was disappointing because you did not get to chose anything and the items they made were unusual. My opinion is if you are going to offer a standard breakfast with no choices then it should be standard and or basic. these dishes were over the top and strange.
5.5 Okay
Cons: The bed was terrible and uncomfortable. The sheets were too big and slid around. The room was extremely small and I can't imagine being a larger person and having to stay in this room. The bathroom is very dated. I felt the innkeeper was a bit standoffish and put me on the spot when we arrived so my first impression was not a good one.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfasts! Comfortable room!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: First time staying at a bed and breakfast and it was wonderful! The room had so much character and the fireplace made it romantic. Breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect, we were able to walk around to get dinner and some drinks. We will definitely be back!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I meet Robert which is the owner, very friendly person and the lady in the morning was awesome as well, the rooms are gorgeous and very clean.
7.5 Good
Pros: food was great, location was in the center of town
Cons: the listing didn't say the ceilings were low. we were the only ones there and it was a little awkward, the emergency escape method was a folding ladder outside in the snow
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Real pillows!! Cozy cozy cozy and wonderful. Just like always through Vermont would be like.. love the location and all the homey touches. Very very very nice
6.0 Good
Pros: The food was good, and the rooms were nice, but my mom went to church and returned past the check-out time and they wouldn't let her use a restroom.
