The location is nice, with several cafes, bars, and local attractions within walking distance. Overall the room and common areas were adequately clean. The main problem I encountered was the water. The hot water, depending on the morning, ranged from inadequate to non-existent. Even after running the shower for ten minutes and then spending five more minutes in a cold shower, there was no noticeable improvement in the temperature. After the first morning, I brought this to the attention of multiple staff members, each of whom said that this was normal, and that even if I changed rooms there was no guarantee that I would have a better experience. The solution I was given was to wake up early and let the water run for a while. I'd understand if it took a few minutes to heat up the pipes, but the expectation for me to wake up an extra half hour or so earlier than usual just to get luke-warm water is just absurd for a hotel. While most of them were at least apologetic, it did not seem like there was any intention of fixing the issue. A couple of them said it was a problem with the city water, which made no sense since it was a temperature problem, not a pressure problem. Furthermore, the cafe right across the street had scalding hot water, so I find it hard to believe any city water-related issue would only affect the hotel building... Sounds like management was putting the employees in the awkward situation of making up excuses for a problem they weren't willing to acknowledge. If it weren't for that issue and the apathy that accompanied it, I probably would have had an enjoyable stay. Instead, I would recommend against staying here. Yeah, they're kind of the only place in town, but next time I come down here I'll gladly rent a car and drive the extra 10-15 minutes to one of the other nearby hotels.
Hotel was clean and nice, although the sink was very show to drain. Property owner used a master key to enter or room while my wife was there alone. He did not wait for her to answer the door. Very disconcerting.
I liked the convenient location. Not only was I close to family I was visiting but being centrally located in downtown Leonardtown was nice. The price for our stay was a decent rate for the four days and three nights we stayed. The wifi was horrendous. It only worked one night. My boyfriend needed wifi in order to work while we were on vacation and was unable to do so in the hotel. The breakfast was too basic and stale. As a mother I feel there should have been more fresh fruit options and better selection of pastries other than week old muffins and bagels. The staff was friendly and got us what we needed, however they were always on their cell phones. The staff also threw out things that were not theirs to throw away when they cleaned the room, such as my sons toothbrush holder. The shower ran cold or took forever to heat up.
It was clean and comfortable. Maybe a better Breakfast selection.
I was very impressed with the cleanliness and overall look of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Our room smelled like it had just been shampooed which was great! We will definitely stay here again!
Comfortable beds was able to get a good night sleep. Reasonable price friendly staff. Nice hotel for the price.
The rooms are big and spacious. The water left an oily feeling on your skin and not enough ashtrays placed outside. There were cigarette butts everywhere.
The Staff was excellent. Location was convienent for my needs. The signage and hotel front was in need of improvement. It was difficult to recognize as a hotel, and I drove right past it on may way back to the hotel.
The staff was outstanding, accommodating, and simply could not have been nicer! Noisy mechanicals in my particular room.
Nice Room Somewhat overpriced
Room was very clean staff was great. Was a little confused with TV channels but that's minor
Few choices in the area, but Quality Inn is one that accepts dogs. No
The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and
The breakfast was pretty good for a hotel. The bathroom was clean, and the pillows were nice in my opinion. Nothing, it suited us just fine for a nights sleep before going out with bayquest charters the next morning.
It was close by to the people I was visiting The staff were completely unorganized, I saw a man get checked in and then come back down because there was someone in the room he was assigned. It took us 30 minutes just to check in.
Location, it's only motel in Montross,VA area TV was a bit confusing to navigate
it was a great experience! nothing
The Staff was nice and I had no problems with paying for my room and checking out out. The king bed in my room was so uncomfortable, ideal for someone who likes sleeping on an extremely firm mattress but not for me.Also my towel had black streaks across it, not sure how that is considered clean.
