Cons: A bit difficult to find
Pros: Very cozy, unique place in a quite area with wonderful view. Warm atmosphere and very charming hosts. Even a short stay becomes a nice and relaxing experience. It is at 10 minutes drive from downtown Smithers and it is worth while, in my opinion a much better solution. Wonderful breakfast. Thank you Yelena
Pros: Omg what a absolute gem. Location amazing and the hosts were probably the nicest most interesting people we have ever met. A must for anyone we can highly recommend.
Pros: Very friendly host. Excellent breakfast! Clean and comfortable room with mountain view.
Pros: I liked everything, Norbert is a great host and the place speaks for itself. Had a wonderful time. Super clean. Will definetly be back
Cons: Everything exceeded my expectations
Pros: This is B&B accommodation in a beautiful rural setting overlooking Smithers BC. The building is a magnificent log structure with all modern amenities. our host was friendly, informed and provided a wondeerful breakfast.
Cons: We had twin beds , which are not normally our preference. The beds were, however, very comfortable.

Pros: The attention to detail was amazing. Everything you would needed was provided. The hosts were very friendly & helpful. We loved walking through the gardens behind the house. The breakfast was amazing. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
Pros: Super friendly hostess
Cons: The bed mattress has seen better times, only sweet breakfast available..... as we had preferred a “salty one”
Pros: Very peaceful settings, very quiet
Cons: Nothing really, we knew the place was out of town, nothing the Garmin GPS couldn't handle, no body wash in the shower, put it down to an oversight
Pros: A peaceful and forested location. Lovely breakfast and gardens. Very comfortable beds and well appointed room.
Cons: The decor is extremely unusual- but fun! It would not be good to stay here if you didn’t have a car.
Pros: Hosts were very pleasant. Guest lounge was nice. I knew I had a single bed but as an adult I would have preferred a larger one. The bed was very comfortable though.
Cons: Generally I would prefer a bathroom on the same level as I have old injuries making stairs uncomfortable, however, I was ok adapting as I was the only guest travelling alone and we had to go up stairs for breakfast anyway.
Pros: The owners were very friendly.
Pros: A quiet location just out of town with a view of the glacier. Provided with our own bathroom and access to a guest sitting area with plenty of room. Michaela’s breakfast was amazing and being in the peace of the country was lovely. Helmet was very accommodating and we really appreciated the advice for our forward travels.
Pros: We have wonderful time family together. So quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. May think it’s not convenient without internet and electricity but if you really need you can buy it. For us? Didn’t need it at all. Go outside, cook together, chatting till late...there are a lot to do. The cabin was well maintained and very clean. Wood stove is warm enough. Will come back in summer!!
Pros: A beautiful place to relax and view wildlife
Pros: The log cabins are in a large clearing, surrounded by mountains. The views are breathtaking. The four horses on the property run and roll in the grass completely unfazed by the presence of the black bears nearby. The hosts live in their own house, within walking distance of the cabins. They are lovely people, warm and generous.
Pros: Great location, completely off-grid and therefor quality time for ourselves and our thoughts. SILENCE. Beautiful nature surrounding the site including trails, woods, wildlife and lake. Very well equipped cabins and great hosts.
Cons: Everything was great.
Pros: It was a perfect cabin at a perfect spot!! Realise: no electricity (warm water ok, fridge ok, lights ok: propane gas!) No wifi: gorgeous!!! The wood stove was great! Lots of privacy!!
Cons: Be aware of the non paved road!!!

Pros: The room and location
Cons: The city
Pros: Nice place to stay in Smithers. Affordable and great staff.
Cons: Older staff person in restaurant was brusque and unfriendly.
Pros: Correct overnight stay while travelling. No particulat charme. Beds were good. Personnel at reception was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Of the 2 restaurants one was a noisy sportsbar, the other quiet and empty. The bill was not correct (after a room change too high), but was corrected after pointing out the mistake.

Pros: It can be tough to get a room in Smithers at certain times of the year. This was my first stay at the Fireweed and it was clean, warm and did the trick for a good price. Had a fridge, micro and coffee pot, so enough to get you through. Location is right next to BP and MacDonalds.
Pros: Pet friendly vintage motel. good location for gas, and places to eat. We like the outside entrance to the room. Easier with pets.
Cons: parking area is a little tight, but workable. Driving a full size 3/4 ton pickup.
Pros: The rooms are setup perfectly for fisherman who are on the water all day. It has all of the essentials to make a week of fishing perfect. The staff rocks and they do a wonderful job making up the rooms every day while we are on the river. This is my 3rd staying at the Fireweed for a week and I will definitively be staying there again!

Cons: The room with the hideabed was a little small. And there was no hair conditioner.
Pros: The beds were comfortable. Breakfast in the morning.
Cons: The floor was creaky in my particular room. Like, a lot!
Pros: Breakfast was better than expected, great pancakes and easy to do ( and tasty) espresso coffee machine ! Very comfortable beds. Easy to control room temperature. Clean. Helpful staff people. Quiet enough.
Cons: Hallways rather bleak with an unpleasant smell , esp in evenings. Fortunately, the smell did not carry into the room. Rather institutional type walls. Though they tried to brighten things up with pictures, framed prints.

Bathroom door only closed when you pushed really hard. Room door wasn’t closed very well. No Ac so very hot. Couldn’t open windows because the smoking ashtray was right outside and people sat there for a long time drinking and smoking.

A very clean walkable town with super friendly people. The mountain views from the streets are beautiful. If the opportunity came along, I would stay in Smithers again.
Pros: location of the hotel was great, room was comfortable. i will only keep writing to satisfy the minimum number of characters required for this section, i am running out of words, this is asking for too many characters

Pros: Location was right along hwy. It was quite. Room was great had full size fridge , stove kitchen
Cons: Not Appl
Cons: The room was very outdated and didn't seem to be very clean. The fabric chair in the room wasn't inviting to sit on, looked filthy. Bedsheets didn't seem clean. The handle of the window was broken. The guy at the reception would fix it, but yet still remains broken. The reception guy creates a weird vibe; looks at you as he has seen a ghost. It was just awkward, not welcoming. The cars at the parking (right in front of the door) were very noisy, also very close to the road. We could hear every car coming by. Needs a big update!
Pros: Has coin laundry, I was traveling with my family and booked a room with 2 beds they upgraded us 2 room suite with kitchen and living room for free :) employees are supper friendly
Cons: a little run down but kinda expected at the price, I would stay again
Pros: Good location
Cons: Cleanliness is important to me. The bathroom was clean but the beds were not as marketed - a pull out and small bed instead of two queens. The decor was very dated, sheets and bedding looked ancient. The room and hallways smelled of smoke and marijuana. We checked out right after checking in and drove to Houston for the night. The folks we spoke with at the property were polite and helpful.
Pros: The proce
Cons: Stained quilts. Black grease on the sheets. Walls wete dirty in bathroom . Furniture was very old and worn.
Pros: TV, WiFi, parking
Cons: Could hear neighbor upstairs moving around and washing machine next door.
Pros: easy to find.
