The informality of the place. The owner/manager couldn't be there when we arrived so he left the key and a note welcoming us. We never did see him! The room was right by the road so could hear the traffic as it passed.

Clean. The breakfast was excellent. It was hot when we were there. While you could open windows, it did not cool down enough to sleep, so using the air conditioner was not optional. The air conditioner rattled and banged making it difficult to sleep.

Rooms are nice and being renovated. The restaurant had really good food. Parking lot could have been cleared better, there were huge puddles and lots of ice.

Correct overnight stay while travelling. No particulat charme. Beds were good. Personnel at reception was friendly and helpful. Of the 2 restaurants one was a noisy sportsbar, the other quiet and empty. The bill was not correct (after a room change too high), but was corrected after pointing out the mistake.
