Pros. The room appeared clean, the bathroom was really clean. The pool, which on the "know before you go" section of the reservation print out, was supposed to be closed, but it wasn't. That helps when traveling with small children.
Cons. There was a dead roach by the wall. The maid told me she was looking for another job because the place was filthy. So immediately I went back to the room to check for bedbugs on the mattress. (I didn't find any, but I was itchy all night.) The breakfast was awful. Heels of bread, two apples and a donut--and that waffle machine. Pretty cleaned out by 8 all ready. The pool is only open until 9 pm. They padlock it until after 12 sometime.
