Pros: it was the most amazing place I've ever stayed. Beds were comfortable and totally enjoyed the clawfoot tub. the only drawback was the very loud music that kept us up way past our bedtime. the man at the desk said it would be loud but we had NO idea how loud.
Cons: the loud music!
Pros: The management, the dinner, the rooms, and the comfort were all superior! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
Cons: Everything was perfect!!
Pros: Incredibly charming rustic setting, reminiscent of the railroad's heydays, with modern touches added in all the right places. Champagne served at check-in, huckleberry chocolates & bottled water in the rooms, earplugs beside the bed (though I didn't need them), variety of quality soaps in the bathroom, tiled shower with plenty of hot water, reasonably-sized TV and selection of analog channels, very clean and comfortable bed, and breakfast DELIVERED to your door in the morning. While the rates are a bit more than other hotels, The Sac's unique experience and accommodations are unheard of elsewhere, and more than make up for that. Downstairs bar has amazingly friendly & attentive staff, excellent food, and a bartender who makes a dangerously-good Long Island Iced Tea. Live music nights are highly recommended.
Cons: My John Colter room was smaller than I expected, although its charm easily outweighed that. I wish the hotel had a hot tub area; A quick soak would've made the experience perfect.
Pros: Good location, nice people.
Cons: Rooms are outdated. Dry expensive for what you get
Pros: Charming, great staff, great food.
Cons: No elevator. Room was kind of small.
Pros: Character and history of the building, staff, location and cleanliness were excellent. We enjoyed our stay. We would have enjoyed dining at the restaurant, but it was closed on the night of our stay. Wed come back for another stay.
Pros: The neat lobby, helpful friendly and happy staff and very good food. Enjoyed the veranda and that hotel is couple of miles from highway in small town
Pros: Just Great!
Pros: The hotel has turn of the century charm. The staff is great! Six of us dined downstairs and had a a good meal in a quiet, cozy room to ourselves. Breakfast in bed is a nice touch.
Cons: The bass from the karaoke bar reverberated throughout the first floor rooms above. Of course sound insulation wasn't a thing when she was built and retrofitting probably isn't economically viable. Earplugs were provided, but couldn't stop the thumping. The only option is no karaoke and that's probably not happening. So it is what it Is.
Pros: We love historic hotels. The Sacajawea is a fine example of an historic hotel which is kept in great repair.
Pros: Very nice older inn, we loved it.
Cons: No elevator
Pros: Loved the historical significance of the hotel. Very nicely renovated property. Really enjoyed the opportunity to relax on the front porch with a cup of coffee in the morning & wine in the evening. Nice touch to provide ear plugs in the room in case events are too loud too late.
Cons: Scallops in the restaurant were just ok. Probably should have been expected in meat territory.
With a stay at Three Forks Lewis & Clark Motel in Three Forks, you'll be a 5-minute walk from Headwaters Heritage Museum and 14 minutes by foot from Headwaters Public Golf Course. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel. It was refreshing to see a uniquely cozy and warm hotel. Reminds me a lot of a B&B. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were excellent. The beds are sooooo soft and comfy. Walking distance to shops and restaurants
Pros: Helpful front desk staff. Very, very comfortable bed. Perfect for sleeping on after a very long day of driving!
Pros: It located next to the State Park.
Cons: Rude front counter person. Complaining that we had cancelled a reservation (advertised as free cancellation) on booking.com because booking charged them fees for our cancellation. Also we had 2 rooms with 2 beds in each room and my wife mentioned one person from one of the rooms was going to sleep in the other room due to her Dad snoring and they charged her an extra $10! Lastly, my Father in Law had a hard time getting up from what he called the “kid height” toilets. Not a great experience.
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The woman who checked us in was also friendly and helpful.
Pros: The motel is cozy the staff are friendly. I had a balcony room. There are board games and books in the lobby that you can bring up to your room to play.
Pros: I only stayed one night but I was impressed with this place. It was old fashioned and homey. The staff (Cookie) was super helpful and always available. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Will come back!
Pros: This place is full of characters and very cute.no
Cons: No hot breakfast, but the homemade bread is good.
Pros: The motel is located near the south end of downtown, with places to eat only a few blocks away. Property is nicely landscaped and nicely laid out on the inside. If our travels take us again to 3 Forks, we may well stay in this motel.
Cons: Room was unexceptional. Bed mattress was too soft and had a pronounced sag in the middle.
Pros: The entire staff was friendly and outgoing to help you with whatever you needed I would definitely stay there again without question
Cons: The bed was to soft for me but that’s a personal preference
Pros: Quaint almost B&B feel.
Cons: Water pressure in shower was sub par.

Pros: It was not far from Yellowstone
Pros: nice and clean, the breakfast at Wheat Montana is a nice treat.
Cons: The lobby is available 24h but not open 24h
Cons: Kept all My money when I had to cancel
Pros: It was a cute room.
Cons: There was not a lot to choose from on the tv, the bathroom door didn’t latch half of the time, we had to clean the coffee pot before we could use it.
Pros: Staff was excellent, good location for our needs, bed was comfy, no continental breakfast, did get vouchers for a bakery. Overall good experience.
Pros: Received a $5.00 ticket to the Montana Wheat. Homemade everything.
Pros: I showed up early in the morning and it was 12 hours before my check in however I called and was checked in. I had been traveling for 12 hours straight and they were close but the manager of the property was very nice and came down to check me And on top of that she was very welcoming and nice to me
Pros: Good rate for a nice place.
Pros: clean rooms
Cons: I booked this hotel for as I was in three forks for a baseball tournament. I did not realize this motel was across the interstate from Three Forks (my bad) nor did I know it was right next to a strip club that had truckers coming and going all night! I honestly did not feel safe there. The door had a gap and light was coming in from outside. My room faced the strip club. The room was awful - not clean. I don't know that we'd ever be back in this area again to stay but if we were we would never book this motel again.
