I had requested a SUV and got a car instead, As a tall person this is not an easy in and out.

There were a lot of add on charges and fees, also somewhat aggressive effort to make me rent a bigger car than originally planned

Cigarette smoke odor in car. I tried calling car rental & no one answered phone. Then called a different location to exchange car & could not. Too much of a hassle to drive back to JWA & exchange car. Purchased essential oil to somehow mask odor.

The vehicle I booked was not actually available. I called the day before when I received an emailed showing a 7 passenger instead of a 12 passenger van. After speaking with 2 different people, 2 different phone calls and over an hour - mostly on hold. They promised me it would be resolved and it was NOT!

They changed the vehicle to a much smaller version. It also has a poor backup camera. Then I was upcharged by over $1,000. I didn’t like it at all. Very dissatisfied.

I pay the car insurance with kajak once i tried to get the car they told me that my insurance was not accepted and i had to buy another insurance. I felt like being scammed by you guys. So i lost money thanks to you . Bad experience..

Forced to pay for upgrade when car rented online not available. On the day I needed to return, the office was locked when it was scheduled to be open, and several people were waiting to rent cars. 0 stars. However, the employee and manager I met when renting were very nice and made the best out of a tricky situation where online rentals allowed to proceed when cars not on the lot. 1 star for each.
