Pros: I look for beach
Cons: En the website say the property have private beach and do not have beach
Cons: Over priced
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Beautiful grounds, the bikes, & paddleboards were always accessible. The salt water pool was refreshing & clean.
Cons: The extra cost for a dog was steep especially for a well trained dog.
Pros: Everything was Excellent!
Cons: Shower is so tiny and I’m small lady. Rooms small no table in room no closet .for the amount of over 2000.00 and no breakfast included not worth the money. We had a delux waterfront room witch really wasn’t waterfront. Pool did not have enough room for all the guests. Not worth the money they charge.
Pros: The setting and the old time resort feel.
Pros: Great location, dog friendly and helpful staff! Tickler’s crab shack was outstanding . Crabs were great!
Cons: Ran short on pool towels and pool chairs and umbrellas.
Pros: Loved everything else
Cons: Outdoor bar and restaurant needs to open for lunch, and close a little later at night.
Pros: We liked the older cottage feel, the glorious location, and the restaurant.
Cons: The beds were a bit too firm.
Located in Tilghman, Black Walnut Point Inn is by the sea, a 4-minute drive from Tilghman Watermen’s Museum and 6 minutes from Phillips Wharf Environmental Center. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great little cabin. Unfortunately the weather was rainy, so we'll be back!
Cons: Hot water heater ran out too quickly,
Pros: This was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences I have had. The Inn and its location are magical. Bob and Tracy are just lovely people. Being around them is uplifting and a complete spiritual experience. I will remember my visit with complete joy.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Pros: 1st & Foremost, the breakfasts & Dining room itself were over the top. The accommodations made me nostalgic. The Pine tree Cabin reminded me of the cabin of my grandfathers old fishing boat in the early 60s but with air conditioning and no bait & tackle. I miss those days. Despite the heat and humidity I really enjoyed walking the grounds and taking it all in again & again.
Cons: The grass was well trimmed. I wish I could say the same for the "greenery" around the cabins. Sure the asthetics pulled my rating down but at least everything worked and again the breakfasts were outstanding.
Pros: I absolutely loved this historical Inn! The location was amazing, the Inn was a history buff's dream and the hosts Bob & Tracy were ever so welcoming!
Cons: That I only got to stay 2 nights was the only downside to my trip!
Pros: Breakfasts were really good! And the overall experience
Cons: No wifi
Cons: Couldn’t quite get the shower hot enough
Pros: The location
Cons: The Inn Keepers were not present. when we arrived we received an email to self check in, we we're greeted by a total stranger we find out he was staying at the house, the place was dirty, it smelled, there were trash bags piled up in the kitchen, the refrigerator was filthy, carpets we're dirty, we didn't feel comfortable at all with the other guest, I have responded twice now to the owners with no response.
Pros: Breakfast and staff were great
Cons: Place is dated and needs work
Pros: Innkeepers made you feel right at home. The scenery was absolutely amazing. Extremely quiet peaceful and relaxing.
Cons: Room didn't have a TV.
Pros: We loved the location, the inn owners, the comfort of the dining room and the folks that gathered around the table with us. I especially liked how “hands on” and present Tracy and Bob where. Simply delightful!
Cons: The air conditioning was not adequate for the temperature during our stay. There are cob webs hanging from the ceiling of the cottage, the sheets had stains, the light bulb was burnt out above the bathroom sink and lots of toothpaste splashed on the paneling. The pool furniture was uncomfortable, the table was dirty and the Adirondack chairs in the yard were broken.
When you stay at Lowes Wharf Marina Inn in Sherwood, you'll be on the waterfront and 8 minutes by car from Tilghman Watermen’s Museum. Featured amenities include laundry facilities and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Views were great!
Cons: Pillows too firm, temperature adjustment difficult
Pros: People were great. Bar outside was fun
Cons: Mosquitos were awful. Wish they sprayed. No chairs outside rooms. Beds were just okay and shower water smelled really brackish
Pros: Gorgeous location--bay and marina front--especially if you have a boat or bring kayaks, paddleboards and bikes. I got to dive off the dock and swim a bit in the bay a few times, which was exhilarating. Very modest, no-frills accommodations, fitting for the price. We booked late in the season, before Memorial Day 2019, and felt lucky to get a room. VERY RELAXED and low key, with attached restaurant and bar. Crab imperial english muffins and fresh squeezed grapefruit crushes (skinny!) were outstanding. There was a band for Memorial Day and the nicest thing is, because most folks come by boat, place really clears out by dusk. Mellow crowd.
Cons: Wish they had bikes or canoes/kayaks, since we didn't bring any. But staff said folks refused to wear life jackets. No one wants liability, so understandable.
Pros: It was exactly what we expected, a very basic, clean room basically on the beach / water. Not a place you want to go if you are going to spend a lot of time in the room, go here if you want to hang out at beach / bar / restaurant / St. Mike to shop.
Cons: Combo Shampoo / conditioner was kind of busted.
Pros: Right on the water. Fun crowd. Rooms very quiet.
Pros: Being on the water. Stargazing at night
Cons: Resort needs to stop using plastic straws. I picked about 20 in a small area. Need to turn bright lights off to reduce light pollution and improve stargazing
Pros: Relaxing atmosphere. Everything is here For the guests!
Pros: I always love the staff and the atmosphere! You can't help but smile when you are there. The view is spectacular and watching the boats is a bonus!
Cons: They didn't have free beer!!Hahaha
Pros: The location and the view of the sunset was beautiful. The staff was very friendly.
Pros: I love the staff and the location
Cons: beds are old
