Pros: Lisbeth and Thomas are fantastic hosts, every detail is so well designed and thought out and make you feel totally comfortable with their hospitality and local expertise. The location is incredible, with sweeping views from the rooms and the jaw-dropping terrace and a short walk to the Umbrian hilltop town that you didn't know you needed. As I am sure everyone has said, the breakfast is phenomenal and not to be missed. If we had more time we would have loved to take a cooking class. Hopefully, we will be back as soon!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was brilliant once the GPS found it. Just a short stroll to the old village and easy to get about by car. The breakfast was a real treat. Im a bit of a foodie and was not disappointed.
Cons: It was the wettest Spring in 60 years but you can't change that!!! If I have to find something to not like it would be our room was small, but hey the place was full, we were lucky to get a room....And it was the Small Room. so all in all nothing to complain about.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were truly exceptional! Different dishes every day, individually prepared. The property is lovely, immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and has amazing views. Thomas and Lisbeth are welcoming and friendly, and great cooks. (They offer classes). The rooms are comfortable, spacious, nicely furnished and super clean. Those breakfasts!
Cons: Really just one thing - the Wi-fi. It is not available in the bedrooms, only in the sitting room (to which guests only have access before 8pm and when Thomas or Lisbeth is in) or in a small area of the terrace outside it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is in an excellent location near the pretty village of Todi. Our lovely hosts Lisbeth and Thomas have done a magnificent job on his property and it is so comfortable and stylish . Our bedroom was beautiful with a magnificent big bathroom with shower and bath with lots of tasteful decorative touches to enhance our stay. The breakfast was served on a gorgeous terrace with stunning views. And what a five star breakfast!! Each day the breakfast menu changes and we enjoyed such gourmet dishes as delicious porridge with fruit, apple and cucumber juice, courgette frittata, homemade rolls and preserves and chocolate and pear scones. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return. You are in for a treat! Thank you!
Cons: Nothing

Pros: First of all the hosts are so genuine, helpful and lovely! The breakfast was phenomenal, so much delicious food. The view in absolutely beautiful from the common area and our room. The location is great as you just are within the old town walls and can get everywhere on foot within 10-15 mins. The decor was wonderful, they really have put their Scandinavian stamp on the property while respecting the history of the building. We will definitely stay here again :)

Pros: Wow, it was a marvelous one night stay at Il Ghiottone Umbro. An old medieval house which was decorated in Danish & Italian style. Beautiful place and rooms. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. Comfortable chairs are located on the terrace for perfect relaxation and enjoying the peaceful view. The room was large and very special. Danish atmosphere in an Umbrian house. The breakfast which was also mentioned in previous reviews is the best experience we ever had. Both hosts are chef, made delicious dishes and try hard to help us and make our stay enjoyable. Location - It took us less then 10 minutes walk to get from the house to Todi old city. We loved this place and definitely will come back. Highly recommended.

Pros: The proprietors were friendly and accommodating. There was even a midnight fireworks show-- what a surprise! The room was set up like a cottage, including cute satchels of lavender hanging from the window. And the views from the property are amazing!!!
Cons: Prefer having a shower over a bathtub.

Pros: Fantastic breakfast and brilliant hospitality. Booked a lovely restaurant for us - all very laid back and relaxing. 100% super.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location to the town centre (easy up hill walk), beautiful country vistas and verandah area to relax, the old rustic charm of the building with its stylish interiors and of course our hosts Lisabeth and Thomas whose passion and professionalism for their business is obvious in all that they do. Both Danish born chefs. They served delicious freshly prepared breakfasts each day. The best non Italian breakfast we have enjoyed in our two months of traveling. If we had more time, we would have liked to have done one of their cooking classes and dinners.

Pros: This property is truly beautiful and has a rich history which pervades every room and space including the adjoining chapel. Federica, our host, has created a warm and exquisitely stylish country home filled with stunning furniture and other antiques, with the freshest white cotton linen on the beds. The bathrooms are all unique and on the shelves are quality Italian toiletries. The breakfast was equally generous and beautifully presented, to be enjoyed at tables set with fresh roses & lavender on the terrace, overlooking the Umbrian fields and Tiber river. Only the freshest local ingredients are used by Federica to produce food of this quality. Just-baked plum crostata for breakfast no less! Beyond our expectations. We left feeling wonderfully looked after and rested.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole experience from start to finish exceeded all expectations! The property / location is a gem, stunning with sweeping views of the countryside surrounding Todi and close to neighboring towns (Assisi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Spello, etc.). Federica and family are the kindest hosts and make you feel right at home every minute (lovely breakfast with the freshest local specialties). Highly recommend to all looking for a relaxing stay in Umbria, and already looking forward to the next time!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fantastic. The beautiful old house and the decoration, the location, the surroundings, the views of Umbria’ s countryside from every window, the home - made breakfast... Federica is very charming and his father Antonio an amazing and lovely “personaggio”. I will never forget my stay in their house.
Cons: Nothing! Everything was superb
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful property - it has been carefully restored and exquisitely decorated with many luxurious touches while still being in keeping with such a historic building. The owners are charming people. They took such good care of us, always helping us to plan our day, chatting about philosophy, cooking fresh pastries each morning to accompany salumi and fresh fruit and the most delicious baby pizzas straight from the oven! They are a delightful family and it was a privilege to spend time with them. The location is ideal being just down the road from Todi and an easy drive to Orvieto and Spoleto. It is in the countryside in a garden full of roses and geraniums. The facilities are excellent - we had a beautiful bed and large bathroom with a great shower. There are only 3 guest rooms so it’s easy to have privacy. If you are able to visit Borgo San Sisto Todi you will be very happy!

Pros: Excellent location in a beautiful town. Great breakfast and wonderful hosts. Small but comfortable room. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We arrived late due to a missed flight and they were most understanding and helpful. They also helped us when we had transport issues at the last minute and were just generally great throughout our stay despite the language barrier-nothing was too much for them. We would definitely stay there again

Residenza Roccafiore - Todi - Bedroom

Overview Reviews
Located in Todi, Residenza Roccafiore is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of Santa Maria della Consolazione and Porta Marzia. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and an elevator (lift). Planning an event in Todi? This farm stay has facilities measuring 484 square feet (45 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Receptionist (Cecilia) was great in checking in and responding to our needs. The room was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was exeptionally comfortable with luxurious bedding.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything! It's a unique place, an excellent management of the facilities, beauty spread all over from the architecture, to the landscape, to art and food. All probably thanks to an enlightened owner, something quite rare but precious in Italy, luckily. There should be more and more of inspired and beauty-loving people like the person behind all of it. It's been an amazing time and experience to repeat... Chapeau!!
Cons: During our stay several guests weren't mindful with keeping their voice low but would talk quite loud by the swimming pool and the relax areas. The staff should be more aware of these aspects, walk around and if needed, remind these people some good common sense, especially being in a SPA. It's a shame being in a wonderful paradisiac place like Roccafiore and being bothered by the noise of indifferent people that act like being at their home.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The food in the restaurant was really excellent. The service was everywhere very good and pleasant.
Cons: The wardrobe in the rooms was too small, in length as well as width; arrangement quite unpractical for keeping ladies clothes. I missed a small waist bin in the room. Papers in the hotel information files old and crumpled, not very nice.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are outstanding and the grounds are spectacular. The pools are well maintained and if you have time to do a tour of the winery it's highly recommended. Everything in this place has style and the art is amazing. The spa has tons of lovely options. We did not use it much as the weather was demanding us to be by the outdoor pool.
Cons: The service is really not good. Most service personal does not speak english. It takes a long time to get any drink or food while on the terrace or the pool. One afternoon I wanted something from the snack menu and the waitress could simply not get me any mozzarella with tomato which I find very unusual for a hotel this size. The scallops and rib eye steak for dinner where very salty and the steak had no side options. The waiters don't recommend wines or anything for that matter. It's almost as if you bother them eating there. We got 3 massage treatments which were not worth the money at all. These are not trained professionals and simply did not get to the problems.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the staff, the food, the facilities
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great return stay at Roccafiore (third time and counting). Excellent restaurant, personalised service and very nice indoor spa and jaccuzi for the winter months. The view over the hills and vineyards, and towards Todi are stunning.

5.5 Okay
Pros: Convenient to Todi and Orvieto but very isolated tiny town. Nicely appointed old torre filled with antiques. Elevator. Restaurant on premises. Food quite good.
Cons: Creaky old antique bed, noisy and uncomfortable. Waitstaff in restaurant exceedingly bad (neighboring table arrived after us, completed eating two courses before we were even asked our order -- 45 minutes!)
7.5 Good
Pros: Accommodating and friendly with superb meals. My wife and I arrived at the property and were greeted with a lovely late lunch of pasta and a cold glass of vino. Well deserved after the hot drive from Rome.
Cons: We left with a sour taste of the weekend, as our cleaner let us know she was unhappy we didn't leave on time to clean for the next set of guests. Shame, considering we didn't request our room to be cleaned over the days we were there anyway, as we were sleeping off a wedding. Not to mind.

Pros: Very good restaurant.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tucked away in the Umbrian countryside, outside of Todi, Colle San Giovanni is a country house where you you be immersed in the beauty of Umbria. The residence is only 3 years old and is impeccably kept. The linens and towels were fresh and clean. The home cooked meals were absolutely delicious. There was a selection of freshly baked cakes and tarts, fresh fruit, cheese and delicious coffee each morning. Each evening the menu included a selection of traditional regional dishes and fresh produce as prepared by the owners. It was a great base from which to explore the surrounding villages of Todi, Montefalco, Spello...the list goes on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was much much better as we could expect. Hotel, room, breakfast, all are exactly so good or better :) as it is in hotel photos. Very fresh and comfortable. Amazing view. Very quit. Not many tourists were there. Few families. Owners! Fantastic! When we arrived, owner (lady) looked to us :) and gave us drink. Few minutes later, when we were in our room, she bring to us cold prosecco bottle! Just because we were there. Very nice breakfast, also various owners cooked (home made) pie, muffins were available for eat, hogh quality prosciutto etc. Place and surroinding area - great!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: New, Clean, view.
Cons: A/C
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Friendly hostess, lovely view of the countryside and Todi in the distance. Quiet location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a really great time staying here for two nights at the back end of a week in the Todi area staying in a nearby villa. The staff were excellent, especially our host who ensured we were looked after at all times. The property has an outstanding view back to Todi and the surrounding countryside and they offer dinner at tables by the pool which is great way to have a few drinks and a meal as the sun goes down. Highly recommended small hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful new building. Lovely views, quiet area
Cons: The owner was wonderful but only spoke Italian, we had no trouble communication basic stuff though
7.5 Good
Pros: The pool is great and the location is wonderful. The rooms are clean and new, and the breakfast is quite nice.
Cons: There was no way to turn off the air-conditioning inside the room and there are no windows. There is only a large glass door that faces the parking lot so even the curtains must remain closed while staying inside the room, making it quite cold and dark without being able to enjoy the view. The shower was also quite disappointing as the head kept moving and would not stay still. Making showering quite uncomfortable. Also, the very loud noise coming from the tractor during a Saturday afternoon made pool time not as relaxing as we hoped.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful time at Colle San Giovanni. The pool and views were stunning and the staff were very friendly. We turned out to be the only people staying in the small hotel over two weekday nights but a tasty breakfast was still put on for us both mornings.
Cons: The air conditioning could have been colder/more powerful, but it was a particularly hot week so perhaps this isn't an issue most of the year!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation is brand new, rooms are clean and “hotel standard”. Very nice beakfast
Cons: Maybe the overall look is too “modern” making the feeling of “country side” a bit lost.

Pros: - Nice, friendly staff - Breakfast (quite large choice for Italy) - We received additional towels for the pool (without charge) - Airco was not working; fixed instantly
Cons: - Very hard, uncomfortable bed - Bad shower (almost no water; shower does not keep it's temperature (very hot-cold-hot)) - Pool cleanness could be better (bad for first 2 days, very clean for the next days) - Pool sunshine protection (little places to hide from the sun, no sunshades or umbrella's, only 1 tree)

Overview Reviews
In the quiet of the green Umbria, among the tuderti hills, there is the farmhouse Casale delle Lucrezie. If you are looking for some peace and quiet, away from the city and its urban noises, then this is the Casale that's right for you. Just 5 km from the historic center of Todi, our structure offers guests all the comfort they need from our beautiful rooms, each with private entrance, private bathroom with shower, fridge, heating, digital TV, air conditioning (by reservation), hairdryer, etc. We offer Italian breakfast with cakes, pies, homemade jams, fruit juices and typical local products and, on request, we also serve savory breakfast with cold cuts, cheeses, etc. The pride of our precious structure is the wellness center (extra, available by reservation). The SPA includes: a courtesy set (soft terry bathrobe, disposable non-slip slippers, hair cap and herbal tea), Finnish sauna, turkish bath, emotional shower, waterfall shower, mini Jacuzzi hydromassage pool, relaxation room with tea bar, gym and tanning shower. On request it is possible to make relax and physiotherapeutic massages. At the customer's disposal, there is also a large games room where inside you will find: X-box 360, billiards, table football and board games. In summer, guests can relax under the sun or take a swim in our huge pool with a 360 ° view of Todi and the surrounding landscape. Other services that the farm offers are: free Wi-Fi, baby sitter (on request), car or bike rental (on request). For horse riding enthusiasts we can recommend some excellent riding stables located only a few kilometers from the Casale. The centrality of the geographical position in which the farm is located allows you to reach with a few minutes of travel the places of greatest interest among which include Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Orvieto, Spello and places of naturalistic relief such as the Cascata delle Marmore Terni and the Trasimeno lake.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Casale delle Lucrezie has probably the most suggestive view of Todi in the area, a straight shot across the valley. Just beautiful. The old farm, reclaimed and modernized after years of functional use as a farm and sleeping quarters first for nuns and then for field-workers, is absolutely charming.
Cons: The shuttle service, provided by the owner, is available only TO Todi. You have to get a cab back, which is fine, but I think that would be an extra positive if the service was back and forth.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Raphael & his parents who own the farm were excellent hosts, very helpful, advising local eateries and places to visit. The rooms were very comfortable & clean with high quality linen. Although we didnt use it there was a spa facility & swimming pool on site. Good base for touring in very beautiful countryside & medieval towns.
Cons: nothing. It was all good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property is fabulous! The location is close to the beautiful hill town of Todi, which is a relatively undiscovered gem (thank you, Rick Steves, for not writing about it). From this location, it's also easy to make day trips to the more touristy locations like Assisi and Orvieto. But if you just want to relax, they have a fabulous pool on the property, and the goats are always happy to see you.
Cons: GPS devices have trouble finding the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are very gracous. The place is very modern and well kept for compared to other agriturismo's in the area. The rate was very good for the quality of the stay, we are very happy we went with this farm stay. It is in a central location, close to various historic cities in the umbria region, and also close to a town where there is access to supermarkets.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Quietness and immersive natural place
Cons: They forgot to tell me they had a SPA!

Cons: Ok room with nothing extra (not even water). Don’t expect the dubble rooms to be 4 stars. Very ordinary. No direct access to terass/bacony (not clear on booking.com).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The buffet breakfast was extensive, carefully arranged and delicious! Le Cisterne has a wide ranging menu and the kitchen produces fine food and pizze.
Cons: In my opinion, little could be improved! The front desk staff went out of their way to be welcoming, personable and very helpful!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in one of the main squares of the town. There is easy access to restaurants, beautiful views of the countryside etc. The room was homely and I enjoyed the decor in my room. The bed was huge and rather comfortable. The staff were very nice and accommodated our 0100 arrival.
Cons: It was noisy outside my window early in the morning HOWEVER this is totally understandable and expected due to the hotel's excellent central location. My phone charger/travel adapter did not fit the plugs in the room. I had to plug out the TV and use the TV's adapter to get access for my phone charger.

Pros: The view of the countryside from room and patio is a peaceful way to begin the day! The staff was welcoming. Although we didn’t eat there this trip, we have eaten wonderful food in their restaurant several times in the past. Breakfast was abundant and enough variety for our family.
Cons: The mattress and pillows could be more comfortable. I was worried about sleeping well, but luckily my back was okay on the mattress. The pillows were flat and did not provide enough neck support.

Pros: Excellent wait staff
Cons: A tour group was staying at the hotel at the same time and they were very noisy.

Pros: Beautiful building and grounds, wonderful pool
Cons: Ratio of staff to guests
5.8 Okay
Pros: . Its position at walking distance from the old town . Its swimming pool premises .
Cons: . The overall staff service . The noise coming from a wedding celebration at 2AM, right downstairs our room ( nobody has warned us about it beforehand) . Poor breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent with panoramic view. Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. Staff and management very friendly and helpful. Free private parking very useful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in a picture perfect setting - our balcony was wonderful, looking out into the Umbrian Hills
Cons: In truth, even though this is a wonderful hotel, as guests staying only for one night - I did feel we were made to feel like an inconvenience as the hotel staff were clearly preoccupied by a wedding it was hosting. I do understand this but a balance should be struck, even if guests are passing through. I was disappointed that we were advised we wouldn't be able to stay by the pool when the wedding guests arrived. One of the waiters in the dining room was incredibly unfriendly.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff are lovely. Gorgeous views.
Cons: The shower is strange. It is in the middle of the bathtub. The set up is not ideal. But everything else in the hotel is amazing. Thanks
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a truly Italian hotel that fosters tradition, good food and hospitality. The views from the terraces are dreamlike and it’s located a stone throw away from the city centre offering a plethora of great and romantic trattorias and bars.
Cons: One evening/night we were surprised by a fairly loud pool party. It only lasted until 01:00 though so it didn’t really spoil anything for us.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The location was stunning. The views were breathtaking and it was only a short walk to an elevator to town.
Cons: The majority of the staff acted as if they were downright resentful to have us as their guests. This hostile attitude started from the moment we arrived and were greeted with a scowl and a frown instead of a warm smile and "Buongiorno e Benvenuto." Even though I explained it was our wedding anniversary and reminded them of our request for a pretty room (I called weeks in advance to make this request), we were given a cramped, dark, depressing room, unlike any of the rooms that appear on their website. When we expressed our dismay, the next day the owner "upgraded" us to a junior "suite" which was only slightly bigger than the first room but did have a nicer view. The hostility continued when a waiter treated us and our 8 year old with anger and disrespect when we ordered dessert and coffee at their restaurant (we had eaten dinner elsewhere), When I took our child down to their pool, there was only one person there: a young man in swimming trunks with no shirt who was lying down on a lounge chair. We waited a half hour for someone to appear at the pool bar to offer us a cool drink before finally realized that that "someone" was him! Even though the location was stunning, a warm and friendly welcome and accommodating attitude makes all the difference in the world. We will return to Todi but not to Hotel Bramante.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel close to all the main attractions yet set out of the way off Piazza Navona. Peaceful room with lovely comfy bed. Close to very good restaurants serving delicious food. Breakfast very simple but does what it says on the tin
