Cons: Bathroom was old. Pillows uncomfortable. We were told to enter hotel in back doors which were not kept locked and anyone could enter - seemed unsafe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was amazing. Rooms were outstanding, clean, great decor
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had such a wonderful time at this property. Nestled right there in rural Connecticut and about 5 minutes away from my brother’s home, also in Litchfield, this turned out to be the ideal spot to stay for my visit. The property looks like a stately mansion right out of the movies and the lobby is like a grand library filled with books and comfortable places to read them. My room was splendid. Very upscale fixtures and decor, clean, comfortable and inviting. Complimentary breakfast included made-to-order omelette and other egg dishes as well as oatmeal and several choices of breads and the like. The whole staff went out of their way to see to my needs and I thank Syed the GM especially, for his overall-kindness and willingness to assist me with some local travel suggestions. The Litchfield Inn is a place I am looking forward to returning to in the future.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. Loved the breakfast. Staff was friendly. Whole place was so pretty
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice room and bathroom. Great location.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good you could have scrambled eggs made to your liking.
7.5 Good
Pros: The area was pretty. The room was clean, spacious and smelled beautiful. The water pressure in the shower was great. Dog friendly!
Cons: The breakfast was absolutely awful. There was no fresh fruit (other than unripe, unpeeled oranges and gross red delicious apples covered in wax). The warm syrup was not plugged in and therefore not hot. The potatoes were spongy. They were definitely at least a day old. There was no history on the property about the building, nor can I find anything about it online which leads me to say it's not old or historical, which was disappointing. The pillows were all the same. It would be beneficial to have hard pillows and soft pillows to help your guests sleep better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My favorite part of our visit to Connecticut was this inn! Breakfast every morning was amazing. So much to choose from. The room was gorgeous as well! Loved it so much.
Cons: It was perfect, nothing could’ve been better. If you wanna see how beautiful it is, go watch my tiktoks: @magicdsgirlshop.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was one of the quietest that I have stayed at.
Cons: N/A
9.5 Excellent
Pros: nice hotel with nice rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great new rooms, very helpful staff, especially during morning breakfast. Central location to many recreational sites.
Cons: Exterior could use some improvement. Upon approaching front of building ther lawn area needs some better plantings. Vehicle parking along north side should be releveled with crush stone.
7.5 Good
Pros: staff, location
Cons: we entered a room with tv and lights on, thought we were in an occupied room, hair in dryer, bent towel rack coming out of wall, bathroom was not that clean (hair)

Pros: Good set up and a bolt hole evening /nights. Took a while to check out
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location for our needs; quiet room.
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable; my back ached when I woke up this morning. I also had quite a bit of mucus build up overnight, which indicates the possibility that the room was likely a smoking room in a previous iteration of this older property.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean; Fresh appearance; Friendly staff
Cons: The in/out traffic pattern is difficult; The low-form toilets are hard for elderly to use; The breakfast is a bit spartan.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Ummm, this may take awhile. Lol
Cons: Facility needs a major overhaul. A/C unit sounded like it was coughing up a lung every couple of minutes. I would not walk barefoot on the carpet, very "crunchy". Place smelled of mildew or mold. Pillows and matress are thin, very thin. Woke up with an ache in my lower back every morning. Facility has an abundance of parking but, leaving the parking lot is a challenge and you can only turn right and go up the hill and accessing RT8 north or south is down the hill from Days Inn so, you'll need to find a way to either turn around up the hill (not an easy task with all the traffic) or go around the long way and find another entrance to RT8 via GPS. It's not the worst place I've stayed at but, I've stayed at much nicer places for $75 avg/night. I believe Days Inn is soaking up as much revenue they can without renovating before they sell.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The pictures show the real physical layout of the hotel.f
Cons: The air conditioner did not get cold enough during the night even after we tried to lower the thermostat and the bathroom ceiling was peeling.
7.5 Good
Cons: The picture did not work on the TV. The audio did, but after a minute or two the "no signal" message came on and the video did not function. Room 208.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Probably represents value for money but guessing that I much prefer spend a few more dollars and get a more comfortable place.
Cons: Breakfast offered in a tiny reception lobby is not my cup of tea. Also, nowhere to relax other than your room is a nuisance. I got what I paid for.
6.8 Good
Pros: Checkin was smooth and pleasant
Cons: Chemical smell overwhelming. Only 12 seats for breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was a convenient stop to visit old friends as we were driving into NY State. The room was comfortable with convenient parking. The staff was helpful.
Cons: It’s awkward to drive in or leave the property due to restrictions on left hand turns from the street out front. Better signage would be helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely clean !
5.8 Okay
Pros: Check in check out was easy
Cons: My non smoking room smelled disgusting. I have stayed there multiple times and each time was just nasty. If people are gonna smoke make them smoke outside and not my Someone else room window !!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, bed was comfortable, great coffee and breakfast food, staff were friendly, plenty of parking,it was a pleasant experience,if I go back to Torrington,I will go back there.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing good about this place!
Cons: It was the worst motel that I stayed in my life: Smelly, dark, dirty with holes in the linens, bad bathroom appointments, etc. It should be condemned!
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was clean and in a fairly rural location.
Cons: Upon arrival, I was met by the owner/manager of the property. Seems nice enough and then seems puzzled... he tells me that I already checked in. Now I’m puzzled because it means that he’s given away the room that I booked. Bathroom layout was weird in our room... which wasn’t a big deal as we just needed a place to sleep and get a shower before we left. Speaking of showers; the plumbing was messed up in our room. Water temp had no mixer to it; it was either scalding hot or off.
6.3 Good
Pros: Great location!
Cons: Bigger bathroom and address water damage to room.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Bathrooms Too small very uncomfortable
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything is fantastic. We will stay again when in the area for sure . BEAUTIFUL area and great motel.
5.5 Okay
Cons: Although the manager was accommodating the facilities were old and in need of some updates. Initially there was not sufficient hot water. I would classify the housekeeping to be below average. There was no provision for any morning beverages or anything to nibble-on in the a.m. However, the location was excellent for the event I was attending.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: The bed featured rumpled sheets with strands of someone else's hair. There was no soap in the bathroom when I arrived.
6.8 Good
Pros: It is a modest property that is clean but short on amenities. Very basic. One window was stuck open with no screen. AC worked well, comfortable beds, cheap towels and sheets.
Cons: Friendly, helpful staff.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Tidy
Cons: Overpriced and dated. The Air Conditioner was not on all day and it took hours to cool the room on a steamy night.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location was close to Kent, CT which was our destination. That was the only thing going for it.
Cons: The bathroom was in the process of being remodeled and the floor was a wood subfloor. The toilet was not anchored to the floor and moved when you sat on it. Would have been horrible if we had kids with us as floor was rough and walls had holes with loose sections. I advised the front desk person that the room should not have been rented out until it had been finished.

4.3 Okay
Pros: The air conditioner & tv worked fine.
Cons: Bathroom door wouldn’t close and the door handle was broken. No towel bar or hook for wet towels or clothes. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed properly. Stains on the linens as well as a hole in the top sheet. The pillows were flat. Overall it was not a good experience!☹️
7.0 Good
Pros: pleasant manager, newly painted and new carpet. very clean with good bathroom. Let down by having VERY worn out sheets and blankets and rickety (although comfortable) beds.
Cons: very worn out sheets and blankets noise from other rooms
5.0 Okay
