Great Wolf Lodge focuses on fun and lets guests do the same. It provides an escape that transports guests into a veritable oversized playground of activity. The Great Wolf Lodge experience is punctuated by the lodge’s indoor water park.

Regardless of age, guests enjoy splish-splashing their way through the day at any of the several attractions in the water park. In River Canyon Run, guests plummet and slip through the twists and turns of this expansive raft ride.

Fort Mackenzie combines a tree house, toys, and, of course, more water, giving kids a rush of fun they won’t soon forget. Guests have the option of also enjoying Alberta Falls. Inside this tandem tube ride, guests slide through a large tube while sitting atop an inflated double raft.

The experience is further punctuated by Totem Towers, an interactive water slide that gives guests the option of how they slide down--so they can go up and try it again another way.

If guests are in need of supplies before heading to the water park, they can hit up the Bear Essentials Swim Shop to get everything required for a great time. Other amenities include the Great Wolf Kids Store and the Buckhorn Exchange Gift shop.

When the time comes to grab a bite, there are several eateries onsite. They vary from Dunkin Donuts to the Camp Critter Bar and Grille to the custom cupcakes and other goodies at Bear Paw Sweets and Eats.

Pros (+) The water area was not a big as some other locations, IE no wave pool, fewer slides, but enough for our kids who are 6 and 9, not to be bored during our two day stay.
Cons (-) Upon arrival, the lineup to check in was ridiculously long with only three employees working the desk. Both the male and female locker rooms smelled terribly and we're absolutely filthy.
