I enjoyed how luxurious the room felt. It was very close to the restaurants and the game floor. The staff was cared about how you felt about the room and they came back into the room to make the stay romantic. I didn't enjoy how thin the walls were. My fiancé and I could hear the people that stayed next to us. It didn't help that they were drunk and they went around the barrier onto our balcony.
The Lodge was a beautiful and luxurious place to stay. It was romantic and well appointed. Great linens and very well done room. Great spa in the hotel and breakfast was very good at the restaurant. Casino is next door and ok. Steak house on 21st floor of casino hotel is quite nice. Service at steakhouse bar was slow. Casino was kind of smoky/dirty but I think that's expected in most casinos. Comparable to New York New York in Vegas.
We love the variety of restaurant choices and the overall grounds. The casino was decorated beautifully for fall. Having the spa option is also a plus. We felt the room rates are a bit steep an prohibit us from visiting more often. We stayed on Sunday night and some of the venues we were going to visit were not open such as the jazz Bar.
The front desk staff was nice Rooms were sub par for the premium I paid, security staff was obnoxious and kept knocking on my door for a loud TV. I could see if I was a teenager having a hotel party but I am a grown man. The fact that security kept bothering me really ruined my stay. I would not stay there again.
Found the staff extremely helpful and courteous. Rooms were clean. Loved having the shuttle to and from Turning Stone. Very prompt service. We go to gamble so it's a perfect place to crash for the night, shower up and head back to the casino.
Beds were comfortable, pillows were good. To loud period. Not only the people in the halls yelling at all hours, but if you can hear the guy in the next door room sighing as he wakes up in the morning, the walls must be made out of tissue. That means they can hear you too. TV next door running all nite heard that too. I understand you cant control stupid people, but that's really your job, to put the parties all on the same floor, then you can control them all. Wouldn't go back for those reasons
Our room was clean and tidy and the staff was friendly, but the shuttle to the casino running on half hour increments was inconvienient at times. Also, our floor was VERY noisy on Saturday night, especially after the bars closed. Had to call the desk but little was done to resolve the issue. Good stay overall.
Shuttle to casino resort is on demand, arrived five minutes after we called. Our room was quiet on the end of the hallway, clean, spacious.
Affordable option instaed of the casino!
Rooms were clean and spacious. There was nothing we didn't like other than we felt rushed to check out when the check out time was noon.
like going green, quiet, comfortable, very adequate.] very pleased with the easy of chek in and check out and everything. no problem at all.
The bed was very comfortable.
Rooms were great Breakfast s were lacking. Choices limited.
Very clean Our air conditioner broke so our room was 80 degrees and it was terrible. Front desk couldn't do anything about it and I will never go back.
My room was good size. The room was cleaned well daily. I didn't hear anything throughout night. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Hot choices/Healthy food available. Could have used more pillows. (I like alot of pillows). No fan/ventilation in bathroom. A little difficult to find.
I liked everything, Room was comfortable and very clean. Heat was easily controlled. My daughter was having surgery in Oneida Hospital and the motel was just a short distance from the hospital. Location was perfect for us. I really liked having the safety bars in the bathtub. Every room had a microwave and a refrigerator. Free breakfast was available every morning. nothing
Central location is good but sits back from road. Cheapest of motels in area but not worth $100 plus cost per night. motel should be all non-smoking.
Clean, affordable, location Firm bed, older bathroom, leaking faucet
Located very close to hospital. This is a very old hotel property that is in desperate need of updating. Old loud air conditioning units, old bedding, and old carpet.
I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, and the fact that I was close to Cazanovia. We had some difficulty getting the heat to shut off.
Ease of check in. Room was not very clean, beds old and very low to the floor, bathroom shower was a mystery.
no The room, cleaning.....
It was inexpensive, I think the new owners are trying but have a ways to go. Pulled back the covers on both beds, the first one looked like someone didn't wipe after using the bathroom and sat on the edge of the bed, there was an 8 inch long brown skidmark. I don't know if the sheets had been washed or not. The other bed had what looked like a blood stain on the sheets next to the pillow, and the sheets were crumpled up in the middle as if someone had been lying there. The clerk was very pleasant and gave me fresh sheets, which we changed ourselves. Then the cable box didn't work so no tv. I wasn't going to have them come up to my room and fix it at 10:00 at night so we went without. Contractors doing renovations made a huge mess of the parking lot, wet morter everywhere which gets tracked all over, including my car since it was night when we checked in and didn't notice it. The work the contractors are doing is sub standard.
Fairly cheap. Don't expect anything extra. The wifi sucks.
Not to much Dirty smelled musty ceiling falling down toilet ran all the time bathroom fan was very noisey no toilet paper bees everywhere when you asked them to fix something nothing was done
Very run down, had to find and we had to ask for toilet paper and got a dirty look for asking.
The family that ran the place was nice, area was quiet. The place was fine for a cheap alternative hotel. Mattress had stains on the side of it. There was no water in the vending machines, No fresh coffee
It took care of my needs for lodging for a very reasonable price Didn't expect more! If it would be cleaned up more it would be perfect. Had cobwebs on wondows... etc.
The facilities at Turning Stone were totally booked, so I had to go with this place 10 minutes down the road for 70 bucks a night (including taxes and fees and such). I booked a nonsmoking king and was at first assigned a two bed room that stunk to high heaven and didn't have the AC on. They fixed it at the desk when I pointed this out by assigning me a different room, but all that info was in the reservation and I shouldn't have had to deal with the hassle.
The bed and pillows were both excellent, very comfortable. The show was also excellent with plenty of hot water and water pressure. Wifi was also strong. Exterior and lobby both gave a shabby appearance . The lobby had a mildewed smell. The coffee maker in the room had not been cleaned in some time and had a moldy coffee filter which makes you wonder what else they aren't cleaning well.
