Schottenring 3, Vienna, Wien
0.2 mi from
This is a comfortable and agreeable hotel with good facilities in a very central location close to all amenities, the historic centre and good public transport links. It is usually good value for money and services are of a high standard. I have stayed here on a number of occasions and dined or attended meetings during other visits to Vienna. The wifi in this hotel is as bad as in so many other Vienna hotels. Free wifi is available, but requires a 12 digit/letter code and a separate code for phone, tablet, laptop etc. It only lasts twenty four hours so on a three day trip with three devices you are coding nine times. The signal has an annoying habit of cutting out. This is not a major complaint, but it should also not be a major issue for the hotel to resolve. Even in Vienna there are hotels which can offer simple, strong continuous wifi for multiple devices.
good value for central vienna; helpful front desk bedroom decor seems dated
The room was very big, with a seating area and a study. The bathroom is marble and very clean. The breakfast is big and varied. The waiters and hotel staff are extremely friendly. All speak English fluently. The room is old. The wires were coming out from the lamp socket which is extremely dangerous. The internet is very expensive (10 euros for 1 hour).
Great location and excellent staff. 1.The air conditioning was a huge problem. Could not get the rooms cooled down. The staff was helpful but made the stay very uncomfortable. 2. The wi-fi is expensive. These big chain hotels will nickle and dime you on services such as wi-fi when all other hotels give it for free !! 3. Currently construction is going on..caused some noise disturbance.
The staff is nice, the location is excellent, the room is big. We liked our trip very much. The breakfast could be more various, there wear not hot dishes. The bar in the lobby is poor.
Impressive staff NO AC WTF?!?!?!?!
Close to downtown area. Good quality and variety of breakfast. Quiet despite being close to the Rathaus. For a 4-star hotel, the decor is not up to par. Rooms are big, but it looks empty as furniture is poor.
Value of money. Location. Staff. A lot of services nearby A little bit small rooms Internet wifi was so bad
location was great. Room was up to the standards. I would ask for a room that is not directly beside the elevator as that makes quite a lot of noise.
A small hotel in a quiet corner, very close to the city center, spacious rooms, varied breakfast buffet, strong Wi-Fi signal in the rooms, and very nice and friendly staff . We booked Triple adults room and the sofa-bed not comfortable for sleeping. You should replace
It was clean In the discripition of the hotel : parking with no surcharge but charged $16 for parking.
Large appartament, with a big closet, living room and kitchen. Nice neighborhood next to the Danube canal where one can walk between the gardens, plenty of little restaurants and with a Ubahn station that permit you reach every part of Vienna within minutes. The buffet breakfast is excellent. Painting the doors of the closet would be nice.
The hotel was in a good location, close to transport, easy access to city centre. Very clean.
