Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was immaculate, bed huge, bathroom lovely, plenty of wardrobe space, lots of windows, couldn't fault the hotel at all. Maybe parking could be free or cheaper.
The staff was very friendly and helpful; some of the rooms are very spacious; the entire hotel is completely new; breakfast was very good. Due to the fact that the hotel is so new, there were still some "start up" problems, and we had to change rooms a few times. However, staff was very professional in dealing with them.
Friendly personal, clean smart looking rooms, nice breakfast No restaurant in the hotel, relatively far from the beach
That the hotel staff reacted immediately when we noticed some small untidiness in the bath. They even sent complimentary champagne and chocolate as an apology. The next day at checkout - they did not charge for car park either - complimentary again. The hotel itself is easy to find - it looks like a castle and stands out from other buildings. Breakfast was good too.
The hotel was very good, not very far away from the beach and from the train station. The location was good, 30 minutes by train from Barcelone. The beach was not very far and the town is enjoyable. The room had a swimming pool view, which did not belong to the hotel and it was quite noisy during the day. Saturday night there was an open air party at the swimming pool. Quite noisy I would say.
Excellent breakfast buffet, nice refurbishment after 20 years
Generally was ok The lack of balconies .The breakfast was ok, but without any vegetables.
Clean and well presented hotel, friendly and professional reception staff. Was local to company we were visiting (who suggested this hotel) henced we stayed here rather than Barcelona. None.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was good and clean and good breakfast. We have our nine month old with us and the staff were great with him and very helpful with boiling water and cleaning bottles etc. Location - if it was about 4 blocks closer to the old town it would have been perfect
good size room restaurant and bar closed in the hotel
Parking is convinient. Breakfast is delicious. Everything was just fine. Overpriced hotel, too far from the sea to call it recreational. Just for the buisness trips.
The room was cleane and nice, hotel is well located - nearby the train station and the beach. The breakfast price seemed to us to high.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was not nice. We felt unsecured.
We stayed there to visit Manu Chao concert nearby. The hotel is good, I am travelling a lot on business so I would say standard business hotel. The beach is reachable by foot, like 15 min walk. It could be good if bar is open more time (we wanted to drink coffe at 10 pm and we could not since everything was closed)
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice historic building located in a nice little village just few miles from the coast.
this hostel is very calm and plesant for holidays nearby Barcelona
An oasis in a hillside town with a friendly and amiable atmosphere; the host was both courtious ad helpful. No
The setting is lovely, the room and its beds were great. Lovely garden. The pool was dirty. It was more like a B&B, or chambre d'hôtes, as the whole family lives in this small hotel, and uses all the customer space. One felt like an intruder at times. The hôtel did not offer any food at all, just breakfast. This could all be due to the fact that we were at times the only guests. The economic crisis is strong in Spain.
Nice location, personalized service Not for business. Wireless in the room goes on-off. gsm reach limited too. Bfast could have some choice (fixed menu)
Location, staff and quality of food was very good
An nice boutique hotel - very good service, excellent ability in several languages, great cuisine, quiet pastoral setting near large urban area all amenities without urban noises and hassles. The road off hte main road A5002, was a suprise- we did not think any hotel off this washed out road was possible, but we continued and were delighted to discover Porta d'Alella perched on a hillside!
Staff very friendly and understanding, unfortunately I expected more of this hotel and hence my comments with regards to the negative sides of the hotel description. The images on booking.com misrepresent the rooms in reality. All in all a little dissapointed. Hotel offered to change the room for a similar one as shown in the images.
quiet location. good views over to vineyard slopes. great evening meal. steep drive down to parking area, but not a big issue.
nice hotel staff, very helpful and courteous far too noisy due to the main road in front of the hotel
only that location . realy i did not like the hotel at all bucause the pictures that i saw at the net are not the same in the hotel which was so bad to me and my family .
No bar or restaurant also building work going on at the hotel and no mention of this at the time of booking. Got charged €6 day for parking my car as well.but I think this nshould be free if you are stayingn at the hotel. Breakfast very limited and the same wouls have bben nice to have some variation.
The Hotel front is main road very busy road and nise too mach.
The comfort, the ease of acces to the train station and the beach. The buffet breakfast had few options and hasn't change at all for 10 days.
big balcony with sea views (there is only two rooms with big balcony). beach and trainstation was near. nice little hotel. room furnitures was old. breakfast was boring and same everyday.
Special atmosphere of the building and interior. Excellent restaurant with a beautiful view. If you arrive by car, it can be very difficult to find a parking place.
Very comfortable rooms, good service and excellent food War perfekt
Nice restaurant. Reception staff fabulously helpful in liaising with British Consulate over some documents lost elsewhere
All: the service, the room, the breakfast etc... The parking for the car
Very cosy, well equipped hotel up in the hills behind Villasar de Dalt. It is located right next to a church which rings its bells every hour ; I loved that, but it may not be appropriate for light/irritable sleepers! Loved the atmosphere, good service, excellent restaurant. Spent 3 nights there and really enjoyed it!! The restaurant is very good, and open to the public (and often full). The prices however are excessive, even if the food is good. We will happily return to the hotel, but, sadly, not to the restaurant (but it is the only restaurant in the immediate vicinity, hence perhaps the too high prices?). Breakfast was listed on the hotel desk at 6 euros but we were charged 8 euros/person... we were gone when I realized this so didn't ask for an explanation. Room rates were very good for the service provided.
