Nice views from ou room overlooking the sea, staff where very good & friendly. The ones we rember particularly where Juan on the recption desk and Genna who was at the place where the dinks where purchased in the resteruant. Was a very pleasant stay thank you The only thing we found was that it was a bit disapointing not to have coffee / tea making facilities in our room.
the helpfulness of the staff The wi-fi was not working. there was no satellite tv. the parking was no good for my van.
Great stay, clean, modern, quiet, close to train station/beach/downtown. Fast and easy check in/out. Would stay there again. nothing to complain about
Staff was really helpfull and friendly. The room was huge with a 2xdouble bed next to eachother.Wine in the resto at really budget prices The buffet restaurant in the evening was "for carnivores and omnivors only". Almost non vegetarian alternative. Resto was also very loud and hectic (the Spanish way) which is not necessary to be perceived as negative (= couleur locale)
location. comfort no Internet
Easy to find No services available due to work taking place.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy atmosphere Value for money - excellent. Service in restaurant was slow - staff good but not enough of them. Bathrooms a bit tacky but clean
The staff in the dining room were very efficient but too rushed. breakfast was reasonable. Too far away from town. Dinner was very small meal and not good value. No carbohydrate ie pots or rice etc. Slow service due to one waitress only. Smoking was allowed in the restaurant which was most unpleasant. They charged us 11 euros for parking the car in the enormous hotel frontage overnight. not garaged. The bath was disgusting Hair and debris down the plug area. very expensive hotel not value for money.
It stated that it had a restuarant but we found out on our arrival that it was not operating that evening!!
quiet despite location on busy road; ample self-service continential breakfast (have seen other reviews stating 'poor breakfast' - I didn't think so). Working air-conditioning (essential!). Nigth porter service allowing late return. Ample parking Deco - homage to the 70's
No english speaking staff. They could not tell the location exactly.
Ease. No problems.
cheerful family hotel, nearish to the beach.
The service was pleasant and helpful, and the food fair value. We would use the hotel again. The pool needed cleaning, and the pool furniture was tired and in need of replacement.
A clean and big middle class hotel with a friendly russian lady assisting us. The tea was not drinkable. Sorry really
The peace and quiet, the spaciousness and cleanliness of the hotel and the swimming pool and surrounding area. My 16-yr old son was pleased about the gym and made use of it every day of our stay. Benicarlo itself does not have a great deal to offer and it was disappointing that there were very few places to eat other than the hotel, which was expensive.
site, architecture, roomsize, spa more towels in the spa
The Parador is a modern one and has a beach hotel atmosphere.. The room was spacious and the bathroom very large. Decor fine if a tad dated. The hotel terrace was very comfortable and the gardens pretty. Check in was tedious as the clerk could not see and had no spectacles! There was no pleasant greeting so we were a little annoyed. I speak very good Spanish so that could not have been the problem.
The price we paid was excellent value for money. We only stayed one night so did not have much time to explore the hotel. The swimming pool was not open, a huge disappointment. Also, the restaurant was expensive so we ended up going outside for our meals.
Swimming pool and proximity to beach.
Good service .Spacious room.Nice garden.Good breakfast .Free parking . Poor room soundproofing.Uneasy access to the beach.Overall ,too expensive for the location.
The pool was excellent, close to the duplicity beach The staff was poor and the restaurant staff was really bad, so was the food.
Service by staff was very good. Food could have been higher quality. Not really possible to eat elsewhere without driving.
This was quite a nice hotel with lovely swimming pool and located right on the beach overlooking the sea. There were plenty of sun beds around the pool. The bedrooms were spacious with good en suite facilities. Adequate parking The hotel was rather tired looking and could have done with a coat of paint and some modernisation. When we complained that the edge of the pool was dirty it was put right immediately.
Not too busy. Quiet and relaxing. Pleasant staff. Good facilities.
easy access to the delta
lovelly hotel bit difficult to find but well worth it when we got there right by the sea beautifull ignore the cement factory about 1 km up did not interfere with any thing would happily return
The pool and the beach and the gaming room for the kids and Internet facility They could improve much by having the pool area and sorrundings somewhat tidier
Easy parking,quick check-in and check-out,good breakfast,fridge in room,free air-con,large modern bathroom,toiletries replenished daily including razor and toothbrush!
closeness to beach
Pool was very nice and we liked the view from our room. Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of free toiletries in the bathroom and free internet access. Coffee machine did not work a few times and there was no one available in the restaurant to sort it out. The cleaner hadn't checked the room properly as there were clothes left my the last guest in the wardrobe.
Simplicity, fair restaurant, close to the beach, price OK old design as regards availability of electricity in the room for computer, fan etc
We only stayed one night, but thought it was very clean and friendly hotel. Very comfortable. Staff helpful.
The friendly attitude of the owner. If the hotel had tea making facilities, in the room, it would make it an ideal place to stay.
Near the beach and in a safe area No one spoke English, so just be prepared with your Spanish. The same is true of the whole town
very helpful friendly and nice staff at hotel and at the restaurant bit further from seaside than expected; window overlooking the wall
I liked this hotel for it's good value bed and breakfast. I only stayed one night en route to southern spain. I liked the underground parking facility which was big enough for 4 or 5 cars. You should check the height of your vehicle as the access door is similar to that of a domestic garage so might not be suitable for cars with large top-boxes or some vans. Turning round in the car park needs a few shunts. The manager/owner didn't speak much English, but was fluent in French, so no problems with communication. We were awoken at 02h00 by another hotel client on the level above us who seemed to deliberately make lots of noise. This went on for 5 or 10 minutes but then stopped and the rest of the night was uneventful. I'm not sure how other hotels fare in the same circumstances, with respect to noise levels
