7.9 Good
Pros: Air conditioning was brilliant and the in room facilities. Train station 10 minute walk away. Was a pass code entry for the doors to your room which helped so you didn't forget your keys. Free parking.
Cons: Far from Paris center, about 1 hour on public transport but easy routes to the main attractions, except after 10pm can be a little harder I.e getting a bus instead. No food options near by just vending machine. Breakfast not included. Lift did not work at the time of travel. In an industrial area so not any good views.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The room have enough space, can bring some snacks to room... Bath clothes and soap are changed everyday (this is bad and good at same time, just environment care is not present), good shower (with 3 modes) pressure and temperature.
Cons: Languages speaked, knockings at the door by personal at intempestive hours, far away from stations (but with a bus stop in front), bad location you will feel unsecure if you come walking, automatic temp regulation so you will have cold or hot, the toilet flush was nor working properly...
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great that our dog was welcome too. He cost an extra 5 euros, but that is worth it.
Cons: Could have done with more pillows and perhaps one TV station in english
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: One of the worst hotels I have ever slept. The room was for no-smokers And the smell inside was horrible from smoke. There were 2 towels only And the breakfast was poor. Stay far way from this Hotel!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Room cleaner
Cons: Receptionest were rude.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location convenient for further travel to Orly Airport (10-15 min. by car in the morning). Perfect for shorter stays esp. if you need to catch the plane from Orly in the morning. Close to the Paris ring with own parking place, fairly easy to find. Not a bad value for money overall.
Cons: The air conditioning did not work. In the winter time this is not a problem. Normally opening the window would do. However, it was heavy rain and strong wind. The double window (certainly good noise-proof) did not have an option of safe opening for a little but instead for some reason could open only like the front doors in a car. So, if air-conditioner is switched off, the window is good mainly for short proper ventilation and a bit less for sleeping with the window open all night esp. when windy and rainy.

Pros: Nice and friendly stuff, location is convenient. It was warm in the room.
Cons: Dryer in the bathroom could be a bit cleaner. Hairdryer is absent in the room, but we took on the reception desk, so not a big problem.

Cons: The service and the location were not good The owner didnt agree to keep our luggage
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very good. Gave us early check in
4.2 Okay
Pros: Nothing. It is not a nice place. Not for tourists. Place is cheap but not worth it.
Cons: The clerck at the frontdesk shouted at me for no reason. There are permament inhabiters that make a big mess in the inner court. They just dump their garbage. When I asked if there was a microwave he litterly told me to go to the neighboring hotel. The bus connection to anywhere is just really bad. The only good thing is the Lidl next to the hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lidl store just next door.
Cons: Far from city center, bus not frequent. Staff not speaking English.
2.5 Mediocre

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk staff was very helpful and the location is perfect.
Cons: Breakfast buffet was overpriced and the employees there were very rude. One of the days we came four minutes late and they would not seat us even though the food was still out and many other people were in the restaurant eating.
7.0 Good
Pros: Curtains were pretty dark, almost blackout. Nice shower. Nice Lifts. Good location near Eiffel Tower.
Cons: Toilet should have been in the same room as the bathroom. Woke up by roadworks on one morning. Told mini bar was free which it was, but it only had a minimal selection.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, right outside the Eiffel Tower. And the staff were really good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were celebrating a birthday , we had 8 in our group the hotel is in a great spot 2 mins from Eiffel Tower. The staff at the hotel were excellent and nothing was too much trouble to accommodate us , we even arranged a birthday cake last minute!
Cons: The rooms were comfortable but we didn’t like separate toilet and bath.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Strange Smell and room condition was not good
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room. Excellent location of the hotel, some 50m away from Eiffel Tower.
Cons: The breakfast buffet is rather poor and €20 per person for breakfast is not worthy. Pullman Hotel next door charges €30 for breakfast per person and the buffet is rich and very good quality. The hotel bar and reception areas are very basic and uncomfortable. Reception staff was polite, breakfast reception staff was rather impolite, none speak English and communication was cumbersome. Cleaners remove soap and towels every day although the hotel claims “green and nature oriented” policy. We saw a rat running over the grounds just by the hotel entrance.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and attentive staff
Cons: Waited 20mins for a taxi on departure, which did not arrive
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing and just a couple small blocks from the Eiffel Tower. 2 Metro stops are also a short walking distance away. The shower is incredible.
Cons: The room is a bit small. We just needed it to sleep and shower though so it was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, with a view on Eiffel tower from my room, very friendly personnel, excellent breakfast...just perfect!
4.0 Okay
Pros: the location its very close to the Eiffel tower and the train.
Cons: the flat pillow, very small bathroom, separate toilet closet.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathroom is too small.
Generator Paris - Paris - Bedroom
6
7.8 Good (12,660 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Generator Paris in Paris (Paris City Center), you'll be a 3-minute walk from Canal Saint-Martin and 15 minutes by foot from Parc des Buttes Chaumont. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I arrived quite late and it was easy to check in.
Cons: It is a locker to leave a luggage so it generates extra cost.
7.4 Good
Pros: The design and cleanliness are superb.
Cons: Location is not great. 30 minutes metro, or 18 euro taxi minimum from anywhere i wanted to be. Had problems with inhospitable and rude staff. Roof is closed for the 'season' for renovations, and i booked this hotel for the roof.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Has everything you need. Location was great. Room was fantastic, huge balcony. Awesome view from bar. Great staff.
Cons: Beds were not comfortable, springs dig into your ribs or back. Food & drink abit expensive
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I like Generator because it still accepted guests unlike other hotels which cancelled my reservation due to Corona virus. So clearly it was not my first choice. However, I still enjoyed staying there as it's close to Colonel Fabien Metro station and there're open stores and pizza and burger restaurants opposite the hotel (not easy to find ones during this time)
Cons: The room I chose was the 8 bed dormitory. The room's not that spacious for 8 beds.
7.0 Good
Pros: The most important things: cleanliness (maybe the best hostel you can stay in), great showers, nice breakfast, good ambience, etc.
Cons: The only point I didn't enjoyed about the Generator is that, compared to the Generator Miami, this has less common areas to stay calm without thinking in the schedule rules.
6.3 Good
Pros: Convenient hostel in Paris, it was my third stay there. It's big, animated, conveniently-located. Excellent WiFi. Haven't tried breakfast but appreciate the hot water fountain in the morning for mate...
Cons: There is a serious problem of cleanliness (soiled toilets, lack of paper at times, filled ashtrays and neglected common areas... Generator Amsterdam seems to be doing a better job). The way doors are slammed shut also is an issue, especially in a 8-bed dorm...
7.4 Good
Pros: Generator Paris is new and nice and very clean and has an energetic design. I stayed there with my 17 year old niece and her friend and wanted them to be somewhere fun and full of interesting international people that start in their age range. The food was good and the dining area was a great common area for hanging out.
Cons: I wish towels were included in the room and didn’t have to be rented. There should also be soap available even if it’s to purchase. Maybe a vending machine with some toiletries in it?
5.0 Okay
Pros: As an old friend from the Generator Miami, the Paris one was at the level I expected (without comparing with the Miami one). The staff was nice and the cleaniness as the Generator levels. Cannot enjoy the rest of the place due the COVID-19 restrictions. I came at Generator the day when the quarantine begin so things went weird for everyone. They handled the situation the best they could.
Cons: The common areas weren't enough and they rapidly created a dark ambience when they let the guess stay close inside the rooms. The hostel became absolute depressive in only 12 hours. Completely silence, no lights enough, the building almost empty and the few guest closed in the rooms in the darkness (the sky turned very dark those days). The situation made me so nervous because I didn't wanted to stay there as a prisoner, and a couple of weird situations happened and I didn't like it (I prefer not to tell it in here because I understand that the staff was living in the same uncertainty as us). I would appreciated more humanity and some kind detail to the guests that day. Just this :-)

7.0 Good
Pros: Good location, clean rooms with some necessary goods
Cons: Construction site right behind the window, main entry door poorly opens, sometimes there is no one behind the reception desk, the lift is quite small and pretty busy at certain times of a day
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, but it's heritage should be underlined, and now is not. It could be amazing boutique heritage hotel. Try to do it!
Cons: lack of soul ...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Place, city, staff, neighborhood, restaurants, cleaning, main train station was near by, 3 min walk, thanks a lot again for the especial thanx to the Reception Mamadon or mohmadon I don’t remember he’s name good but this guy it’s was a super resection guy who was working night❤️
Cons: Nothing that I didn’t like, everything was perfect
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is centrally located, walking distance to the Lyon train station is a big plus, the hotel in general is very clean and the decoration is charming. The front desk staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The bed is very comfortable and the room size for 3 persons is good. The amenities in the room are great: Nespresso coffee maker, water, small fridge, and the toiletries are of good quality.
Cons: The only thing we did not like at all is that the restroom door is made out of glass and is pretty see through!! There is no privacy!! We had to place a towel on the door railing for privacy and my son even turned off the light when he was taking a shower!! I recommend that a curtain is put in place to cover the glass door!! Specially when the door is in a diagonal position facing the bed. I was laying down in bed and could see my son's silhouette in the restroom!! This alone would keep me from staying at this hotel again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good room with modern bathroom and usb power slots. Great breakfasts.
Cons: Neighborhood a little seedy. Farther from central Paris sites than I thought.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Maybe a little bit more breakfast add ham or cheese for the bread
7.1 Good
Pros: When we arrived the staff greeted us nicely. They also provide games that we can borrow and play in the room. The lobby is quite spacious and it sells a variety of snacks & drinks. Our room is a tandem room that provides one double bed and 2 single beds. Overall is OK.
Cons: We didn’t know that our booking wasn’t inclusive of hotel towels. We need to pay €3 for each towel. The location is a bit of a walk to the nearest public transportation. The light in the room is a bit dim.
6.2 Good
Pros: Room was super comfortable and cool. Definitely recommend getting one with private bathroom.
Cons: The wifi was spotty throughout our stay. The air conditioner was supposed to be “automatic” and never turned on. Tried talking to hotel staff multiple times and of course the right person to fix it wasn’t there. Other guest complained about the heat too. hotel staff did nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds are really comfortable and the ambient of the room is beautiful.
Cons: Only thing is a bit uncomfortable is the size of the toilets
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice place and cozy
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: You have to pay for your towels. Bring yours along. Terrible service. More of a hostel than a hotel. Staff are not welcoming.

Pros: I loved the location and how the staff was very helpful. The hotel is super clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, service and hospitality
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding location for viewing the Eiffel Tower, however we found that there was little else around this area for tourists. Room was a good size, immaculately presented, modern and nicely furnished. It was my Daughters birthday the day before our arrival and staff decorated the room with balloons and left a lovely card and gift for the occasion- a very nice touch! staff were very helpful, although aside from check in, we didn’t require any assistance! If you want to stay in close proximity to the Eiffel Tower and enjoy peace and tranquility following a busy day exploring the city - this is the hotel for you!!
Cons: We absolutely loved the property, but after visiting other districts in Paris- we found the hotel a little quiet and lacking some of the atmosphere in other more vibrant parts of Paris.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Checkout is slow
7.0 Good
Pros: N/a
Cons: Shower was broken
7.0 Good
Pros: The view and location as well as our room was ready in the morning when we arrived.
Cons: The annoying sound when the tv gave us a message and then wouldn't load.
7.0 Good
Pros: The second time we stayed there they provided a king bed and we ordered room service and the food was amazing.
Cons: We stayed there twice on this past trip. I do not blame the hotel but we flew out of New York all night and when we wanted to check in all they had was twin beds for us ready. I realize today, I will never take a twin bed versus a king.

Pros: Fantastic experience. Staff could not have been more friendly or attentive. Location right near the Metro and Marais district. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Selection at breakfast fantastic.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: All nice
Cons: Prices in bar
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location, very clean, good value.
Cons: Cleaning and front desk staff very courteous for the most part. Hotel employee  were especially friendly and helpful at receptionat the concierge desk was terse, impatient and condescending.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent! Walking distance to the Louvre, Metro station right outside. Felt like a safe neighborhood. The staff was very nice and helpful. Regular bed very comfortable. Generous with towels and toiletries.
Cons: Shower wall was transparent even with the frosted feature turned on!! Makes for an awkward situation if you're not sharing a room with only your spouse. Sofa pull out bed was very uncomfortable. Room size was very small.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and access to metro
Cons: Showers
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect! Right in front of the metro station (one stop from Paris North). Also located a walking distance to Louvre Museum (about 15 minutes walking)! The room was extremely comfortable and clean. The employees are super friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with the room and it was fixed right away! Excellent breakfast! When I go back to Paris I will definitely stay there!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds, best continental breakfast EVER. The juicer with the fruits and veggies were clutch. Perfect location literally steps from the metro. The pictures look exactly the same as in real life which never happens. Very secure, you have to enter the hotel’s main entrance with a key card after business hours.
Cons: Watch out for that city tax, and make sure you add anyone on your reservation when you originally book. I booked a “2 person” room and when I came with someone they charged me extra for that person since they thought I was alone. Not a fun surprise. I thought this had a an airport shuttle as well, but it cost 90 euro per person. Better off taking the metro.
8.5 Excellent
Cons: The bed could be better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful in meeting our needs
Cons: No
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in the heart of Paris. As we only had one day in Paris, we didn't get to stay in the room/hotel to have a full appreciation of the hotel.
Cons: Room was looking out to the inner courtyard and the view was mainly a big wall. Given the location, they couldn't have done any more to improve. Friendly staff, but the check out process could have been smoother as the queue did not move very fast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: ‘Short but sweet’ stay for our sons 9th Birthday. Excellent all round! Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if returning to Paris. From check in to check out there was nothing to fault. Thanks again for the birthday treat on check out!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall help with taxis, dinner reservations, comfort of the room, location close to exciting parts of Paris, extremely helpful staff. Also, the size of the room, relative to other Paris hotels, is superior. A nice, professional, contemporary hotel with a first-class staff and great attention to detail.

7.1 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed, neat free breakfast( in the morning, this guy, I think it might be the manager or owner, was there to serve and accommodate us with the breakfast, I could tell he really cares about a good service, I really appreciate that), free combination small metal safe in the room for each peroson(good for storing passport, wallet or other small valuables), relatively good location, close to a small market(opens til pretty late)
Cons: No sink in the toilet (can't wash hands after using the toilet). The lighting in the room is not very inviting, also didn't find a individual bed head light. It took really long to check-in ( I stood there for 25+ minutes to be checked in)

Pros: Simple breakfast with 1 bread 1 juice 1 butter 1 jelly and 1 hot beverage. Great location.
Cons: Men bathroom was closed on my floor. Only 3 showers on my floor and one was broken.
6.0 Good
Pros: Correct breakfast and cleanliness for affordable price.
Cons: Weird rules like do not take a shower after 11pm (why?) and, more dramatic, you cannot stay at the hotel common areas from 11am to 3pm! Even the wi-fi is deactivated at this time! When I travel I need a place who cares about me. I don't want to care about the place.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location, right people and a nice breakfast.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: The location and price! Also the people were all friendly so it's great if you want to meet new people. Free breakfast is also a plus. I had the luck of having a bathroom/shower inside a four people mix gendered room, which is very convenient. They also included safes inside the room.
Cons: The comfort level of the bed and the cleanliness here needs work. But you get what you paid for! Set your expectations appropriately and you'll be fine.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: It was fairly clean.
Cons: The staff is not only not helpful at all, but also it felt like they weren't even keen to provide any feedback. Also, the weren't any towels in the room, because they claim that it's for environmental issues. Of course you have to buy them, only to discover that the bought ones are made of plastic.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hostel-like hotel offering good value-for-money. Nicely decorated with 24 hour reception. Metro within ten minute walk or tram (linking to other metro lines) within five minute walk.
Cons: Neighbourhood is a little rough - street prostitutes were hanging around on the road next to the hotel - but the hotel is very large and has visible security

Cons: The location wasn't great, but also not that bad. Wifi not great on the rooms.

4.2 Okay
Pros: I liked only the placement and the hotel staff
Cons: They speak badly about romanians,I am romanian, but in our hotels or even in the cheapest places in Romania you cannot find such poor conditions...I wanted to pay less for a hotel room but finally I went to Carrefour to buy some bed sheets,as the existing ones looked awfull...not to mention the chair which looked dirty with evident traces of dirt on it!!!I wonder if it is so hard to wipe the chair a bit ,I would have done it for free,as I was ashamed myself of their shame....
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice price
Cons: It was far away from everything, I had to walk 15 min to arrive since there are not buses or trains close to this location, arriving on foot is dangerous and might risk someones life, the Uber from the eiffel tower cost 40 euros.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so nice and friendly the hotel and the room was clean we had a great weekend !!
7.5 Good
Pros: When we got to the hotel I got a little concerned because it was being redone and the elevator was not the newest or most modern. However on the corridor of our room it was clear that the floor had been renewed and the room was very clean. The refrigerator was not working properly, which was a bummer because I had bought some food to leave at the room. But it didn’t stop from making it a cool stay. The hotel is very well located, with a Carrefour just around the corner and the metro station about 5 mins walk. The price is fair and the staff was really nice.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the room. It was spacious and the minibar was included in the price. Usually you can get smaller rooms for this price in Paris.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very warm welcome from the receptionist on arrival. Since we were celebrating my girlfriend's Birthday, we were complimentary upgraded and treated with a bottle of champagne. All staff very nice and polite, making our celebration very special and memorable.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very good bed and breakfast
Cons: The staff was friendly but in the reception they did not know exactly their work - they asked me to pay the taxes of the city, after they told me that it was paid and the next morning the ask me again to pay (more money that I had to pay and then they returned them back. Also the elevator was not working and even though they told me that they would help us with the luggage, finally we had to take them down by ourselves.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location as it was off the beaten path and not full of tourists. The bus was close by which was great as the Metro was shut down due to a strike. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room setup was a bit awkward but nothing too bad.
6.3 Good
Cons: Bathroom wasn't clean. Far from restaurant

7.9 Good
Pros: Air conditioning was brilliant and the in room facilities.

Pros: Nothing. It is not a nice place. Not for tourists. Place is cheap but not worth it.
