Pros: I've stayed here several times now, and it's always been very acceptable. The single story rooms look interesting, but I haven't stayed in them, only the main building. Pros: Spacious room. Very comfortable beds. 2 tvs. Lots of hot water for showering.
Cons: Needed a microwave. Advertised kitchenette and our room did not have one. The outdoor patio area did not live up to the photos online (it was winter but it was very unkept.) Breakfast was not included due to circumstances (Did not offer a grab and go breakfast instead.)

Cons: Wish there was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was attentive was and went out of his way to make our stay great and safe during this incredibly difficult time with the coronavirus in our country.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, comfortable beds
Cons: Slim breakfast options
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice. The mattress in our room was so awesome I will be buying one for home. We came off season so the property probably wasn’t as pretty as it is once the snow is over. The sign in the hotel says it has a restaurant and bar. It doesn’t.
Cons: My only constructive critique would be that our shower floor could use some bleach and a good scrubbing. It didn’t bother me so much that I wouldn’t use, it but it could have been better and was a stark contrast to the rest of the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Updated yet still has the antique feel of old. Loved our room. We brought food and we had a kitchenette. The sheets were awesome and the bed was comfortable. I’m highly critical of bad beds. The nice coffee and food was great to have in the morning. Nice people in La Veta.
Cons: The tile floor was beautiful but it had no rugs so my feet were cold. Lol

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delightful. Best breakfast EVER! Wonderful hosts (especially Harrison). Great location. Informative. comfortable bed. I would definitely return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Many vacation spots in CO are getting trampled and congested. The infamous brown cloud sulks over Denver in summer. I-70 and I-25 are increasingly unpleasant. Suburbia and outlets are slowly stripmining authenticity out of the beautiful front range. For anyone looking for an escape from the chaos, a La Veta is the type of town that has authenticity, charm, and leisure. Restaurants are only open according to the schedules kept by the locals who run them. The local liquor store stocks about 30 spirits, the local grocer stocks assorted baskets of produce, cheeses, and meats. Theres a Mexican restaurant at one end of town, and a BBQ joint at the other, with a coffee shop inbetween, and a gas station on the way out of town. The rest is a grid of wide, casual dirt roads that locals slowly amble down, and cozy homes. The Inn at Spanish Peaks is down one of those roads, and is one of those homes. All of the aforementioned shops are walking distance from the Inn. The car traffic is minimal, perhaps one per hour or so. The deer traffic, however, is entertaining and constant. The hummingbird traffic is so regular on the back porch that I was surprised an air traffic control tower wasn't close by. The gardens and yards kept by the couple that runs the bnb are beautiful and tended to, naturally serene for whenever one fancies a long sit on the back porch. The interior of the home is beautifully done in a blend of warmth from classic spanish mission and appeal of upscale southwestern open concept. Theres a doublesided fireplace that provides opposing lounges with heat and relaxed vibes. The kitchen is so spacious that it begs to be cooked in, and that is welcomed by the family that runs the bnb. I made guac for myself for dinner and can personally attest to its equipped and inviting status. My room was spacious, updated, cute, and comfortable. I felt very safe traveling here as a single female, and slept well on the comfortable, clean bed. Stay here. You'll love...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Few choices
Cons: Average food in town. Except breakfast at hotel was superior
