Pros: Basic room for a good price. Condition of the room was very nice and staff was friendly.
Cons: No fridge or coffee maker and very basic tv channels.
No continental breakfast.
Pros: Staff were friendly upon arrival and throughout my stay. I was not expecting much from the room given the price but was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, spacious and had everything I needed.
Pros: This place is conveniently located right off the highway with close distance to restaurants.
The price for the stay was very reasonable.
Cons: Missing microwave and refrigerator..
Pros: The room was mostly clean (aside from spots on the towels), the bed was comfortable, room was quiet, and the water pressure was awesome.
Cons: When I showed up to check in, my reservation had no proof of payment through Kayak and there was some strange name on my account along with someone else's card # (I guess Kayak reserves under their own card and name), so I had to find my confirmation emails proving I was paid in full and sign a form to that effect. The staff at the Red Roof Inn were very nice, but Kayak's customer service line went unanswered.
Pros: Close to city and many restaurants
Cons: No microwave
Pros: The rooms were good but no microwaves or refrigerator... But the stay was good
Cons: No microwaves nor refrigerator
Pros: Looks like the rooms were updated and new. Clean and inviting
Cons: High along the top of one of the walls was a long heating type register which looked dirty. Perhaps new paint would fix it up a bit.

Pros: Food was surprisingly good, the front desk staff was courteous and prompt, and the parking was convenient. The location is also fine, approximately 5 minutes off of I90.
Cons: The bed was not working properly, which led to a very uncomfortable night's sleep. Maintenance staff was incredibly dismissive and rude. There are enough good hotel brands between I90 and Utica that You shouldn't bother with this one.

Pros: Cost of room was about $54 w/ tax through site. Owner was a wonderful, nice gentleman. Location is right off Exit 31 ramp so you can't ask for better convenience.
Cons: Furniture, shower, dresser all desperately needed updates. I asked for a non-smoking room. The room itself was non-smoking but the bathroom reeked of smoke. I'm not sure if it was the vent or the room itself but it was overwhelming. The room I was in was joining to the room next door. The walls/door were so thin that I heard everything on the neighbor's TV and them laughing. Also the room above mine was apparently moving furniture all night as I kept hearing loud thuds. I have upstairs neighbors at home also, so I was kind of looking forward to NOT being woken up by loud thuds/banging on the floor...oh well.
Pros: Cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Cons: Checked in to this place around 6pm. As we walked up the stairs to our second floor room I noticed a smoke smell. As we walked down the hallway i recognized the smell as marijuana. The place is very old and run down. In dire need of a facelift. After entering the room and seeing stains on the furniture and floor we turned around and left to get some dinner. While out I stopped across the street at a Red Roof Inn and found a room. We went back to Scottish and got our stuff and left. Very shabby.
Enjoy your visit to Utica with a stay at Rest Inn. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7 AM and 10:30 AM.
Pros: On a cross country road trip with my kids. I booked around me and it ended up being an hour in the other direction. They would not move is to a closer hotel or refund.
Cons: Very shady people hanging outside smoking and drinking. Called the front desks twice and no one did anything. The door lock would not work and the safety latch was broken off. The Ac was not blowing cold air and was very loud. The beds were unconfertalbe and the pillows where the smallest work out things ever. The tv only got 2 channels one was a local advertising and the other was not clear
Pros: Comfortable room, bottom floor. Heat was ON when we got in...thank you!!! Temperature outside= -5....
The room was clean, bathroom was clean, it was quiet all night.
Pros: Room was very nice, clean and neat. Employee was very nice at check-in,fixing a mistake I had made with booking
Cons: Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, not much choice and very unimaginative. Could use more protein choices
Pros: Everything was clean looking and comfortable. Staff was friendly. However, I got several bad spider bites on my arms, neck and face that are now very itchy and swollen. Bed closer to window, room 220. I didn't tell the front desk in the morning, but thought I'd share after the review request email.
Cons: Spider bites, itch and swollen

Cons: I cant believe that it was so bad and lost the money that we paid up front I don't think you should charge a card until we get to our destination. we lost that money and had to travel further up the road to get a nice place at the Holiday Inn.
Pros: Nothing, it was disgusting. I didn't have high expectations - I am a musician and stay in $--- motels frequently. This one was way below acceptable.
Cons: - Bitten by bugs, two marks on my arm - Infested with scabies, ruined my vacation - never vacuumed, old food on the floor, food wrappers on the bed - three kinds of hair in the sink, male and female, hair all over the bathroom absolutelydisgusting
Pros: THE LADY IN THE FRONT DESK WAS SO NICE
Cons: I LOVE EVERYTHING

Pros: Price and it was clean, had cable, staff was nice and helpful.
Cons: Having to be buzzed into the office, the 1/2 inch gap in the door, the dated look and feel, I had to run the shower for 10 minutes before I got hot water. This is a one star hotel.
Pros: It was inexpensive, compared to the other hotels in the area, yey still met all of our needs. The room was small, but very clean.
Pros: Room was horrible-no telephone, remote or working TV. Paid $--- because we could not find any other place. Complained about all of it, including no shampoo. Room looking NOTHING like pictures. After complaining strongly was given a decent room. BAD!
Cons: We were expecting a two star and the first assigned room was horrible. Paint was chipping in the room no coffee in room. The 'new' room had no heat control We were very aggressive. If we had not been I do not know what would have happened. BAD!

Pros: Did the trick for a weekend at a Roller Derby tournament. Very comfortable beds.
Cons: Not much. A bit out of the way, but that's about it.
Cons: Everything just seemed greasy, the smell in the main lobby and hallway made us lightheaded from holding our breath as we ran through. Hey Ramada, replacing that putrid science experiment of a carpet should be your first priority. Pick any place else....
Pros: Not much. Pretty gross actually and we all were worried about bed bugs.
Cons: the filthy carpet, the tiny bathroom , the waterless pool, just a general air of dispair and worned downedness.
Pros: The staff was really nice.
Cons: Hallways had a smell. You could smell the smoke from the hallways. Lights were to dim in the rooms. Horrible location. Nothing nearby in walking distance.
