Pros: The staff were very courteous and considerate. The location was like heaven on earth.
Cons: A little high priced.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The food was tasty, and John was there to answer any questions. The full size refrigerator downstairs was very helpful to store our soy milk and soy creamer, since my wife has a sensitivity to dairy.
Cons: We had a king size bed; however, the room was a bit small for the bed, but we enjoyed the more spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable!
5.0 Okay

Pros: One the night that we arrived (April 5), there was a lady at the desk who was super polite. We needed to use the vending machine however it required cash while we were out of cash. She took us to the kitchen and offered us some cake. She was super polite and helpful

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a wonderful family trip. with the stay in the resort you obtain free passes for almost everything. canoing. kayak. biking. chairlifting. pool. sauna. hottub. skate park. athletic center. tennis courts. soccer camp. playground, etc. The complex is located in front of a beautiful and big pond. The town's square is crossing a bridge and it has shops and different restaurants. A lot of resorts around. But, I think this is one of the most grand. I would recomend 100%. and it is 100% family friendly. Our big suite had a really complete kitchen with everything that you need, including barbecue tools. We used the barbecue of the hotel one day. Those are just out of the indor pool, just perfect!. Adititonally the hotel has a indoor pool, sauna, 2 hottubs, small gameroom close to the pool, barbecue fa ilities out of the indor pool (it was perfect for us) playground, a complete soccer camp and an area for play basket. The hotel doesn't have restaurant. But you have an area with vending machines where you can buy and prepare a good coffe of more known brands and have snaks, drinks and cereal; you can get tea there too (free). In the grocery store of the town square you can find almost everything (including personal care products, pain killers, a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. Some fresh vegetables. Ice cream. Sausages and meat for barbecue, ham and a long etc. We eat at Legends 1291 sport bar in the lower level of town square and we received a wonderful service and a delicious food for really good price, while we watched a soccer game in a very wide screen on the wall. With the fredoom passes that the hotel offer you you will save a lot of money. They gave us passes for all of us (6 people) and with those we obtain access to almost every activity without spend more money during the 3 days of stay. I thing at the end it was almost a free stay with all that we save for the passes.
Cons: The hotel doesn't have air conditioner. But we had 2 fan in our suite. We needed to ask for one additional to be confortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is close to everything! We easily drove around to different activities/hiking in Lincoln and Woodstock. Lots of vegan and gluten free options in the restaurants in Town Square. Family-friendly atmosphere (we don't have children yet, but I imagine this being perfect for all ages). I enjoyed the apartment style accommodations. Wish we were staying longer than 2 days, was a nice home away from home, hope to stay longer next time and take advantage of all the activities on-site!
Cons: Central air conditioning would have been nice for when it was humid at night, but we had fans going with the windows open which helped.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is by far the most beautiful in NH. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Everything was up to par with my expectations. The only thing I have to complain about is the fact that I had to drain the ac several times a day while trying not to get the carpet wet. Having said that if that’s the only downside it is outweighed by the beauty of the location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was awesome! Super friendly and helpful. Place is pretty relaxed and lots of outdoor things to do! I loved being there
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Long time visitors of Waterville Valley. We like the overall experience every time from the area and Golden Eagle. We like that it has not changed dramatically over the years. Great sleeping too.
Cons: A few more chairs accessible on the beach would be good. Another restaurant perhaps.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities and room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful clean rooms. Ac in living room enough to cool the whole unit- fans fine at night. Beautiful spot convenient to town square
Cons: Exit to the path to town square not easy for strollers or wheelchairs.

Cons: There is no central air.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice space and features.
Cons: Mattress seemed old. Shower did not drain well.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room is a condo, very nice kitchen, living room with dinning table, bedroom... living room also had a Murphy bed... can sleep many. Easy walkway to town centre.
Cons: No bottomless coffee or hot and cold water. The other inns and lodges had this in their lobby. No breakfast or manager party.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and close to the wedding venue ... we could easily walk to Town Square and the conference center.
Cons: Rooms are slightly outdated, but still comfortable.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing, so polite and helpful. We got a nice room with a view of pretty trees. The pool was not operational but we went to the athletic club and it was great (and included in the price!). The restaurants in the complex left much to be desired, but that has nothing to do with Black Bear! It was expensive but in line with comparable properties for the time of year we visited. We had a great time and would definitely go back.
Cons: Pool at the hotel was closed for repair. Not a lot of good food in the area.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: convenient location for the tournament we were attending, relatively quiet, I liked the "quiet hours" that were in place. Room was quite large and homey.
Cons: Building seemed a little worn and not all that modern, but it served our purposes well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic hotel with an excellent location. The amenities were great, and the staff was extremely helpful (our booking for some reason didn't reach them when we booked through booking, but they managed to fix everything in the end). The room is HUGE and can comfortable fit a large amount of people. The price for everything was excellent as well.
Cons: Somehow our reservation got lost in translation between the lodge and booking.com . They need to communicate reservations better between each other.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: The shower started to make a high pitched squall
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room and staff
Cons: Pool should be open to 11p
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The suite layout and full kitchen is perfect for families or small groups. Friendly staff!
Cons: No breakfast--this is not a complaint since I booked the room knowing that breakfast wasn't included, but it would have been nice.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: View & surrounding
Cons: Check in time too late & check out too early, check in should be 3pm & check out 12pm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a relaxing 2 day vacation. The facilities were excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Maybe a little place for snacks when you are out at the pool would be helpful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautiful and the location was great! There’s a little common community area with restaurants and shops within walking distance. The lake was very nice.

Cons: I wish they had a restaurant, at least for breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: No food
6.3 Good
Pros: A bit musty smelling. Staff a bit grumpy.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was good. Especially good for winter activities.
Cons: The bed was not a queen size bed. It was a full size bed. The second bed advertised was a pull out sofa, with a horrible mattress. The mattress had no padding between the springs. It was miserable. We took the comforter off the full bed and doubled it up to sleep on the sofa bed. That left the full bed without a blanket.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Front desk person was exceptional, friendly and not phased by a number of guests checking in at the same time.
Cons: Having to leave
9.5 Excellent

Snowy Owl Inn - Waterville Valley - Building
6.2 Good (283 reviews)
7.5 Good
Cons: Old building battling aging issues. Has charm and super location.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The pool was okay and the breakfast was also not bad. I liked the fact that the muffins and donuts were individually packaged.
Cons: The place was dark and the carpets and everything else was old. Felt like no one stays at this place. I felt like the place was good but its the maintenance that was a problem. Everything was old including the comforters and sheets. It had visible stains on it. The comforters and blankets were worn out. The vending machines had nothing in them, a few chips. A lot of the things had out of order sign on them.
2.0 Mediocre

Also the beds where not as good. The soap could be bigger also. There where dead flys on the floor in the bathroom. The alarm clock did not work
