Hotel heating was stuck on full and the room was extremely warm, the road noise made it impossible to leave the window open, the shower mixer knob was broken and the shower head wouldnt direct over the bath due to worn fitting.
Was given the smallest of rooms, with bed sided by wall. There was no light on the desk, and the single light in the bedroom hall was not sufficient. For th price of the rooms they could offer internet for free. Carpets were durty and smelly all over the hotel. This hotel would certainly do with a massive refurbishment.
The restaurant staff were outstanding, warm & friendly, and genuinely eager to serve. The dinner was also good value for 17 pounds, and the breakfast was superb. The bar staff were friendly and helpful, and we especially enjoyed drinking our bottle of wine after dinner in the garden patio. The room was so hot, it was almost impossible to sleep. Never stayed at a Hilton anywhere in the world that didn't have ac. And the parking lot and street outside were very noisy, with a lot of screeching tires and gunning motors. The wireless provided by bt is also greatly over-priced.

There was a party night in the hotel, when we arrived back from an external event we were met by a police van hauling fellow guests out of the hotel......
I liked the look of the hotel. The friendlyness of the staff holding doors and generally being polite. A+ I stuggled to understand the accent of the front desk workers. We got lost in the hotel a few times, not enough signs from the stairs + lifts to the front desk.

Nice breakfast, good parking, good location just out of the main town Stayed on Floor 2 and had wooden floor above us and all you could hear was creaking noises where other residents were pacing around all night. At least I think that is what they were doing.
The hotel was convenient to the event we were visiting (Patchetts equestrian Centre). I was impressed with the comfort of the beds!breakfast was excellent and the bar was good. My husband visited the pool area and found it good Ok. This is not about us, but what we witnessed and overheard whilst checking in. Another customer was complaining about a charge on his room, when he had not bought anything. It was explained that this was in case he used something like room service etc or made any charges on his room. The customer did not understand, and I am afraid that the male receptionist argued with him and it got very heated. Please remind whomever it was that the customer is always right and just say I am sorry. The charge was taken off but the customer was very upset and quite rightly. We were also charged but our female receptionist explained it well......

Close to the international airport with easy access to cheap shuttle bus service. Rooms were clean and heating/cooling easily adjusted. Staff were friendly and good with children. A good menu for kids. Rooms are very small, even for overnight stay. There is no lift so luggage must be carried up two flights of stairs which is back breaking if your traveling overseas with a large load. They claim to be 4 star which is a bit of a joke... More like 2 1/2 to 3 mainly due to the fact it is dated (looking worn), lack of lifts to upper levels and lacking 4 star facilities. WiFi was a bit dear. Most places in this pricerange where we stayed offered free WiFi.

The concierge staff were very helpful and friendly,but something need to be done for the check in and check out front liners. We checked in on 25 \nov 2010, arriving about 10 pm plus from Paris enroute to scotland, the check I staff was not very friendly. We checkd out early morning on 26 nov 2010, the check out staff was also not friendly. A simple eye contact would have been helpful for the hotel management.
First off I couldn't book the room through the hotel. I was forced to book with third party online. My bathroom had flooded when I had taken a shower, due to the shower threshold. I had upgraded my room simply just looking for a king bed. The only room available was a sweet which had cost me 275.00 pounds. They only compensated me 50 pounds for a soak and wet bathroom that I had to mop up with all the towels in the room.

The bed was inviting and clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was lovely! I didn't have a computer with me so was grateful I could come in free of charge to write an email. There was nothing I didn't like.
Checkin was quick. Food at the bar was good (see also what I did not like) I picked the hotel because of the name, I stayed in excellent Jury's Inss before, also because it was (said to be) close to the underground & heathrow, Only at the exit there was no indication where the hotel was located, and the hotel was not visible. So I had to ask around, before finding the hotel. It was a bit farther away than described. At check-in they told me the restaurant would be open until 22h30, and gave me a key-card for my room that did not work. When coming back down to the restaurant I was told it closed early, so I had to go to the (overflowing) bar, and had to wait to get a seat. My room was close the the elevators, and poorly insulated, and I heard the elevators moving up and down,and stopping at my floor all night.
The Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food is great at reasonable prices, everything looks smart and well organised. it is right next to the tube station which was convenient. The rates are low and you get much more than you expected for this sort of price. the breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Basically I would use this hotel again if I am in the area – very pleasant stay.

Brand new, lovely hotel and a superb Garden Inn. Comfortable and crispy clean. Nice staff at the bar and check in. Easy access from Hatton Cross Tube stop. Read a review that transportation was bad and have to agree. Expensive at GBP 4:50 each. Worse yet was the SURLY, RUDE, UNHELPFUL CRETIN that drove the bus. Awful.
Location The hotel was very noisy and the housekeeping staff kept slamming doors keeping us up. In addition we asked a server about the menu and she rudely told us to ask someone else and walked off.
It was just what we needed after a long flight, clean, spacious, modern and comfortable.

The staff went OUT OF THER WAY to be accommodating, helpful, friendly and generally go "above and beyond" to provide outstanding customer service. Deputy Manager Rob was wonderful as was Ellie and the rest of the staff!!!!!! I also would like to compliment the wait-staff at the breakfasts--they were AMAZING--couldn't do enough for us...every morning and every day of our stay. Jury's Inn is to be commended on their staff training and customer service policy!!! The room assigned to us left a lot to be desired. The room we PAID for an upgrade for, was much, much better.

The Jurys Inn Watford was lovely and warm. We asked for a quiet room and got it. It was lovely and clean basic but bed was very comfortable. Bath was very clean and I had a daily bath - a practice I would not usually do in hotels. I found the bath small but more comfortable than my own one at home which is very large - it just moulded to the shape of the body. I thought shower rail with semi circle gave a lot more room in the shower. We also ate most of the time in our room for convenience as we were over for a family wedding and it suited us to rest between functions. Reception was very nice, but one of the barmen referred to my husband Noel as you lot - the Irish - which would be a very racist comment!! Staff did not seem to know anything we asked them - they had to look everything up on the web - even what terminal the flight to Ireland went from when taxi was waiting. I think Jurys should have a chart of terminals for all countries from which they have clients and it could be posted in reception area thus obviating necessity for asking in the first place.

this was our 2nd visit to Jurys inn.. we have family living in watford so it was a perfect base while we visited. the location is lovely and the high street in watford has everything we needed.

Location is good for its communication links to London. Dining experience was good, as was the Bar service. The general condition of the interior of the hotel is ' tired ' and could do with a make over. Some of the staff need to work on their ' people skill's ' and smile alittle more often. I booked two rooms for my family. After checking in and being issued with the key cards, we found one of the rooms was still being lived in by another occupant. ( All their personal property, clothes, valuables and lap-top computer still in the room. ) Very poor security. We had to return to reception to organise another room, which was subsiquently on a different floor. Overall very poor value for money considering my final bill. ( The equivilant of a week in Spain.!. )

Reception staff were friendly and help out on a couple of occaisions when i needed. A bit out of the way from shopping centre / train stations and airport, with no transport to either. Taxi's were required for every situation.

This was despite the fact that I had a booking reference number. However the receptionist was extremely good and helped me out.
Good quality modern hotel - as per most Holiday Express hotels. Room was quiet, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Staff were helpful. Was granted a late checkout which enabled me to complete some important work on my trip. No hotel parking and nearest car park was full on first night of stay. Can park on road outside hotel but have to move car before 8.00am.

Very friendly helpful staff. We were given a room in a quieter area of the hotel as requested on check in. Our rooms were close to those in our party. Very clean throughout the hotel. Had to wait over an hour for the room to be ready, but the Manager was most apologetic and attentive to our needs whenever we asked questions or for help. The cleaner didn't understand English, but she did smile.

It was very convenient for wATFORD city centre and the parking was free. food was available in bar which was good after working. room was agood size. No tv remote. was told one would be brought up but never received one. only 2 tea bags! Fish pie in bar was lovely except it wasn't hot enough and there were no staff around to send back.

I liked the friendliness and efficiency of all staff, the cleanlines of my room and the genel ambience. My son Richard Zanetti also stayed at Premier Watford on night of 13/11/10. It was booked in my name so he would not get feedback form. He commented that the bedding smelt of cigarette smoke.

The bed was uncomfortable and I found it difficult to sleep. I was left for 30 mins one evening before my order was taken and I had to go to the bar to buy my own drink whilst waiting. It took a further 25 mins to arrive which caused me to be late for an evening meeting.

This hotel is a mile from where our relatives live so we have stayed here many times. I could not faul the staff however during this last visit. Very friendly and welcoming. I have no complaints about this hotel. However, if you want breakfast you have to go to TGIF. The next time we stay at this hotel we will go without breakfast.. TGIF Service is bad and they did not offer what was on the menu. In my opinion TGIF let the hotel down.

Location Service in the restaurant was very efficient and friendly We were not informed that the hotel is going through a TOTAL renovation. We were initially placed in a recently finished room. After a real ordeal to get there, we found out that our room reeked of chemicals (gave us a headache within 5 minutes and watery eyes), still had some construction debris and the bathroom door handle was not installed. Had to carry all our luggage back and had to be moved to a different room.

Big lounge, helpful front desk service. Discounted pricing relative to other hotels in the area. Outside decor and current renovations give very poor first impressions. Room was typ Marriott-type accommodations. I'd recommend spending the extra $10+ to stay elsewhere if possible, but would consider again at same price range when renovations are complete.
Comfortable room and fast internet and ease of taking the public bus system 5 minutes to the terminal cannot be beat. Hair in the bathroom and in the tea cup suggested it did not get cleaned well, and about a 45" wait to get checked in made the stay less than ideal. Both are probably one-off issues though based upon reviews available.
Location This hotel is old and not very clean. I am surprised that Marriott has let this hotel go this far in dis-repair. Not worth 200 USD a night.
Location, lounge 1.the hotel could not find my kayak reservation so I am Not sure that I paid the kayak rate, in fact there is a good chance but I was charged twice and I'll have to find some way to reconcile this. For some reason the kayak reservations were not acceptable for their confirmation numbering system, the staff acted like they never seen a kayak reservation. 2.none of the hotel had internet access whatsoever it was down all night. Only one staff was manning the concierge desk and with the internet down the line was very long, yet it seems like the staff didn't put 2&2 together....perhaps you should increase the number of people at the concierge desk when the internet is down. At times the concierge would just just disappear I think probably hoping people would just disappear as well. Myself and another guest helped ourselves to the concierge desk computer print out our boarding passes for flights. 3. the entire hotel smelled like smoke despite the non smoking room. 4. the television didn't work in the hotel room and looked quite dated even at the kayak rated this hotel is not worth the money
The restaurant was very good and food quality excellent. It is very shabby and needs refurbishment. The linen was old and the sheets had holes . The towels were thin and worn. Kettle in the room was worn and would not close when boiling.Floors creaked badly when walked upon.Poor quality for a 3* hotel. Would not stay there again.

The hotel was clean and presentable... the rooms were spacious and well laid out. The Wifi was poor and the alleged health club didn;t exist in the hotel... it is a 10 minute walk away... the barman was more interested in his personal life on his mobile!

Good service and a decent room. Free wifi. Overall, I was there for 2 days before I left England so it served its purpose. Check in was supposed to be at 2 pm. I got there around 3:30 and still had to wait about 15 minutes before getting my key.
It was totally fine for an overnight stay at an airport hotel. The pull out couch was actually more comfortable than the beds themselves. The air-con did not work in our room and they gave us a small fan to rectify the situation. The front desk staff was also very helpful on the phone, but never followed through with the requests we made.

Location adjacent to M4 -good for connection to London but tube connection better than bus routes. High taxi fares in the locality because of this High taxi fares-charged £28 for 7 mile trip.

This is boutique quality hotel with new amenities, at an amazingly low price. They do this, by offering small, but very nice, rooms with single beds. Its about a 10-12 min walk from the Hounslow East Metro station (4 stops from Heathrow), which isn't actually that bad. Fare is 1.5£, taxi is 20£ or so. (Turn right when you exit Hounslow East.)

Hotel staff generally good. Room ok, but sink drain a bit slow! Hotel could not find my booking on the system at all - I.E. no record of the Active Hotels booking. So check-in took nearly 20 minutes whilst we sorted out a new booking.
The room was clean and spacious. Check in staff was unwelcoming. Almost was given a smoking room until I complained. Breakfast was expensive and did not live up to the price. The location is far away from the airport and suited to business travelers. Will not book a room at this hotel again.

Plenty of facilities; restaurants, gym, spa and shop. However we chose the hotel for its locationa nd the shuttle service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Thought the internet was poorly priced, i.e. too expensive.
Very nice hotel, and served my purpose well as an overnight stay to be close to Heathrow for an early morning flight back to the States.Nice and quiet, even though it is so close to Heathrow. Don't know who's fault, but when I arrived, hotel had no record of my reservation. a little scarey, as I was being dropped off by my parents, after a 5 hour drive from South Wales, before my flight the next day, back to the us. After probably 15 minutes,the receptionist made a new reservation,and all was well. The other thing that was not good, was that I did not get my 6am wake up call, which could've made for a bad situation, as I was catching a plane! Also, it was not easy to get to off the M4...got lost and ended up on the m25!!
Clezan, mostly quite quiet, ideally located for Heathrow / m25 For the second time in succession it took nearly an hour to check in as the Active Hotels Booking had not been received by the hotel. Required phonce calls to Active Hotels to resolve. Not what you need at 7pm at night after a long flight etc etc.

The architecture; the driveway through trees; the gardens; the fresh veg./herbs homegrown; the dining room; the car parking; the breakfast; the clean bathroom; the feeling of security; the polite staff; the location. The stained carpet in 204 (can't you shampoo it?); the torn sofa; only one small soap bar; the fact that you encourage pets/dogs is a bit off putting; the dog dirt in the grounds (I got this on my shoe for the first time in 20 years!).
The staff are incredibly helpful and can;t do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay! Bed was a little bit hard, but no bed is ever quite like home is it?!!

that i got an upgrade as there was a problem with room i was to have in first place... the first room the cistern had a overflow problem.... the other room curtains and valance was tatty and shower head had lime scale, also had to use fore escape to re enter as there was a do in the hall.
The location is just perfect. Staff are very friendly. We stayed in a Double Bed Room. Unfortunatley the beds were joint (2 Singles) It was not comfortable when you went in the middle.
